This unit is nestled in an old turn-of-the-century building overlooking the historic town of Vail. It was quiet, cozy, clean, and had everything needed for a fantastic weekend getaway: warm electric fireplace, ROKU TV, kitchen with all needed cooking utensils and dinnerware, extra blankies, comfy bed, big fluffy towels, and lots of charm. The building still has much of its old architectural elements like high ceilings, creaky wood floors, beautiful wooden staircases, iron decorative fencing, stained glass entryway, and much more, giving it a quirky old-school connection to the past. We brought our EMF detector to see if any spirits were present. I'm happy to report that all is quiet in this wonderful historic location. Enjoy the mountains and local history in this lovely condo.

Very historic. The property was very well done. One could hear the upstairs room talking and walking around. Very quiet at night. Overall, very acceptable accommodations.

We wanted to climb a couple 14ers while in the area and this location was easily accessible to Mt. Elbert and Mt. Sherman and the downtown historic district. Communication with host was excellent. There was a distinct smell in the room that we couldn't ever figure out, but we didn't mention it. I'm sure if we had, they would have checked on it. Very accomodating hosts!

Unable to open windows so felt stuffy and could possibly be safety issue due to only one exit Could’ve used a fan. Toilet not secured to floor. Noted a cockroach in bathroom. FYI, may want to take photos when you arrive so aren’t falsely accused of damage to property

We love Leadville for the outdoors and the history, and this condo is historic too - located in what was once the Old St. Vincent's hospital (built 1901), it is a fascinating building. This quaint condo is older but comfie, management is helpful. Property is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of downtown, and grocery store. We have stayed here before, and would do so again.

We had a great time. The fridge was loud is my only comment but everything else was perfect. Such an cute fun place.

We lived this unit. We ski cooper frequently and this was perfect for us. Bed was terrific, kitchen met all our needs and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. We will be back.

Location was walking distance from downtown. Easy access to nearby hiking trails.

This property was a totally unexpected gem. The suite was very clean, well stocked with everything we needed (aside from food of course). It was very comfortable, warm and inviting. Convenient off-street parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Apartment was very clean nicely furnished and well stocked. It is in a rundown neighborhood of Leadville in an old and apparently renovated building that stands out along the simple houses surrounding. The apartment itself is located on the ground floor with windows at ground level so that the floor is below ground level. I found the instructions from the management company unfriendly in tone but they were accurate and their response time is fast. Please note that you have to strip the beds and other chores which we did but found somewhat annoying given the cleaning fee charged. Overall I would give it a 3.5.

This was a comfortable place to stay, clean and well-located in Leadville. I did not find it to be a particularly good value; Vrbo fees are quite excessive, but I don't blame the property for that.

The Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race is important on so many levels to my family. We had a big presence together in 2019, and then the event did not happen in 2020. This year, we were ready to go again and needed a place to base out of and this property was spot-on perfect. It is very clean, had all we needed and was comfortable. We were able to plan, organize, execute and also hold a great dinner all in this property! Everything was clean and worked well, and the property liaison was accessible, professional and there were no surprises. Lots of clean towels, bedding was quality and the kitchen had great capacity for the size it is. We are already planning on bringing out more people in our family for next year's event and want to stay here again and even hope to secure a few other units in this location. I wholeheartedly give this stay experience five stars! Thank you!

Nice size casual condo for two, walking distance to historic downtown, great history in this building (former St. Vincent's hospital built I think 1901).

Loved our stay in Leadville and this property was perfect for us! The bed and living room furniture was very comfy (important after long hiking days!), shower was hot, and the space is great. Check in/out was super easy. I put 4 stars on cleanliness only because we tried to use the oven and it started pouring smoke into the apartment and we couldn’t use it. I let them know it needed a cleaning & I’m sure they will take care of it. Would highly recommend this property when staying in Leadville.

Truly enjoyed the experience. We will stay here again on our next trip to Leadville.

You won’t find another like it. Old hospital converted into very cozy condos. Old wood floors, brick walls, wainscoated, very high ceilings with big vertical windows looking out onto the neighborhood and beyond to the high mountains. Looking at the old brick building from the outside reminds you of some 1930 movie set about ghosts, but inside is warm, well appointed, very friendly. Easy walks to Main Street shops, restaurants and coffee roasters. I played my guitar in City on the Hill Coffee shop when it was old and snowy outside. People in Leadville wonderful. Safeway nearby has great shopping. Walking the side streets of Leadville bundled up for the cold was a real highlight. Condo is good value, feels.Ike a small home.

Love this cozy place

My girlfriend and I rented the house as part of our valentines getaway. We were so pleasantly surprised by the property. Not only was it spacious and beautifully decorated, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable too! We would recommend staying here if you ever come to Leadville, or want to save some money on a Copper Mountain vacation since it is only 30 minutes away.

We really enjoyed our winter stay here! Super comfortable beds and pull out sofa, new linens and awesome, thick towels. Kitchen has everything you need. Location is super convenient to downtown Leadville and nearby outdoor recreation activities. Management company was very communicative. Highly recommended!
