Very sweet, interesting, accommodating hotel. Staff were so very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

Friendly staff, quiet and well located. The decor was a bit dated but clean and comfortable.

Room was literally like the attic room looked at the others really nice clean ours had a lock on the outside of the bathroom but not the inside...🤨 Also I am in a wheelchair claim they have downstairs room but turns out the bloody chef lives in that room so I had to walk up thankfully not the spiral staircase but the other 1 that had about 1000 steep steps while I'm struggling up them with help from my partner the manager yes manager just watched us and then buggered off and didn't see again no personal touch or even some some kindness by coming to check we got in room ok or anything at all we then phoned down to ask about breakfast following morning at 7.30 to be told needed to be booked night before if wanted anything bearing in mind still 2 hrs until breakfast time stops so no food at all no food as the night before guess what the chef was moving out we then get told...the TV was absolutely tiny ..erm no the chef lived in the room we had awful freezing....no phone in room shut signal as was literally in the top room going literally attic....asked to see if could just stay in room ABIT later then check out yeah will be fine the day before she said then that morning we literally got told u need to leave by 10.30 latest so there's again my partner getting wheelchair luggage and me down all them stairs on his own......bathroom couldnt get in the shower was freezing and clearly no actual heating in there as radiator pipes were just on the not even attached to the bloody radiator so had smallest little heater thing I think Lapland was wamer then that room u normally take layers off to go bed no we were putting more on....wasn't even cleaned the chair in there didn't even have all matching legs on it they put the kettle the other end to any plug sockets...

Nice clean room and good location . staff are very helpful and polite.

The stairs were a bit difficult for me to go up and down with my luggage. But it could be because I have joint pain.

Good location for the races, however very tired, could do with a proper clean and refresh.

Booked a double room but got a small double. Tired, dirty and repairs needed.
