We liked everything about it. Newly renovated so it was modern, clean, located just far enough away from the main area that there was no noise but close enough to not be an inconvenience. The pool was lovely for swimming and relaxing.

the position close to bars and restaurants. The pool area was very nice but quite a busy road running adjacent to it. We didn’t have the hot weather to lounge around it but it was very noticeable there was a busy road there. Staff were very friendly especially Mario who made us very welcome and told us about the area. we were in room number 8 which was very nice but there was a small window which had no blind or curtain - it let in so much light. A little blind would have been better.

The staff is very, very friendly and nice. they feel like friends. When you arrive they give you all the information you need, making it easier for you to explore the island. In general excellent service. The whole place is very clean, and we found our room in amazingly cleaned every single day. Would definitely recommend, and would stay there again in the future.

The receptionist (Roula) was a great host! Always available to give some tips. The hotel is very well located, close to Fira center. 5 minutes walk from restaurants, bars etc It has a good pool with umbrellas, long-chairs and towels. Private parking is available if you go by car.

Location was fantastic. Always sunbeds available around the pool.

In the past days, we have stayed in Hotel Golden Star for three days due to our first vacation in Santorini. It was all perfect, thanks to the kind staff that helped us since the beginning with some information. They also offered us a free upgrade of our room and always smile to us. Perfect hotel, completely renewed, easy connected with all the crucial point of the Island. Super recommended!

The location is exceptional. the room is very nice, spacious and comfortable. the hotel facilities are excellent. and the pool is great. we spent great days in Santorini.

the only thing we didn't like was the fact that the shower space was small and the shower curtain constantly touching our body. The only thing missing is to add breakfast.

The central local and the swimming pool. The hotel staff is friendly. They allow me to store my luggage for a few days before my stay.

The basis room facilities are very limited. There is no cup or kettle but they will provide them if you ask.

The location is excellent. The pool was big. The room had a nice view from the sea (not the caldera side).

There are few things about the property that really need to be improved. The bed was very hard. I requested a double bed but had instead 2 single beds pushed together with a blanket in the middle to stop the gap. The brackish water in the shower was very unpleasant. No facilities for coffee or tea in the room. I had to ask to the receptionist for a coffee in the morning. She said she only had it black but the cleaner made my coffee once and there was milk in the fridge. Plus, they run out of sugar. The property is right in the middle of Fira and they didn't have sugar. I found the lady receptionist abrupt. Like, very abrupt. I had to add my credit card to make the booking on this website as standard. Every single hotel has always asked me at the check out if they can use the card on the booking or if I wish to pay with another one. I really do not understand why Golden Star Hotel just took the payment from my card when I was at the hotel instead of asking me how I wanted to pay. I can overlook the hardness of the bed and small shower as it is a 3 stars hotel but the little details like the receptionist constant sour face, the eye rolling to make a coffee and taking the money from my card without my approval really got to me.

New roads have been built in Thira and this means a lot of traffice noise in the hotels in the town centre.

Too small room for a deluxe room. The bathroom is also too small, two small bed not one master bed. You cant use the swimming pool or the jacuzzi after 21h the guy from the reception was too rude because they didn't tell us about it in a first place so we didn't know. He said it was too obvious... but how could we guess this?! Dirty glasses and so smelly towels.

The receptionist, Anastasia, was very helpful since the first moment! Everything is clean and the swimming pool is great. Perfect place to stay in Santorini to visit Fira by foot as well as the rest of the island by moto/car (free parking in the hotel)

Super location - 5m walk form the center and bus to the port. Generous pool size and the hotel is clean and pretty. Staff are very helpful and friendly...Great value for money and highly recommended!
