Absolutely amazing from start to finish. The little things provided like fire starters, beach towels, activity listing and local product just take this home from good to great.

An absolutely beautiful house with sunset views over the lake.

The design of the house and grounds offered so many options throughout each day of our stay that it really felt more like staying at a resort than a house. We moved around the property all day, finding sun or shade and different views/seating styles as needed. It was fabulous to have so many thoughtfully designed choices! Plus, the host Jenn responded so quickly to questions both before and during our stay - honestly quicker than response times at most hotels. Loved every minute of our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

Our second time staying at Yellowbird and so happy to be back. The home is perfectly set up especially for outdoor enjoyment from the kayaks to the fire pit, everything is ready for lake front living

Great house on Woodridge Lake! Roomy indoors and out. Great sunset views. Kitchen and dining room are large for in house meals. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Yellowbird. The house is gorgeous and well equipped for all your needs. We had 3 families and there was plenty of space. There is even a pack and play at the house if you are traveling with a baby. We went to the house in February to ski at Mohawk Mountain. The mountain is a quick, easy drive from the house. The views of the lake from the back deck are amazing. I am sure this place would be fantastic in the summer. Thanks for a great week!

Great space for a large group. Our family loved the home and property. The deck, hammocks and the chairs by the water we so relaxing. Comfortable beds. Only a few used the sauna but they really liked it. Out door shower was very nice. Lots of wood provided and shampoos, games, puzzles, books and plenty of tvs. Pretty much every detail was thought of. We all really enjoyed our stay. We had different friends come for a day visit and everyone thought it was a great spot.

The location can’t be beat- amazing view of Woodridge Lake and so close to the towns of Litchfield, Bantam and Washington. Perfect spots indoor and outdoor for relaxing!

The house is amazing. The amenities are above and beyond any other house I have rented. Jenn is awesome. Responded right away even time we texted her. Will definitely be back.

I can't say enough nice things about Yellowbird. First of all it's in a super beautiful wooded neighborhood, with tons of privacy. You cannot see your neighbors, however you CAN see a fantastic view of the lake. It's profoundly gorgeous, and the kayak/canoe made for some fantastic boating and fishing. We played cornhole and sat around the firepit, sipping fantastic blender drinks (they have a Ninja!) and playing guitar without worrying about bothering anyone. The house itself was clean and comfortable and very well-equipped. Great kitchen, with a wine cabinet. They also have subscriptions to all the online streaming services, and a fantastic Sonos sound system. Really comfortable bedrooms and nice bathrooms too -- and Jenn was super responsive and kind. Honestly no complaints at all; we can't wait to come back!

great location, great views, great hosts

Our family of nine (seven adults and two kids) had a very good time at this property. The description of amenities and what the house and location have to offer are all spot on. The owners have really through through all the various needs of a group of folks who want to relax and enjoy a vacation on a pristine and private lake. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms were more than adequate for our group - it was easy to cook meals in or drive about 15 minutes to grab a bite to eat in the closest town. All of the lake toys - kayaks, paddle board, canoe - made water fun really easy and enjoyable. Recommend you bring your own water floats and toys beyond what is listed, however. Swimming and fishing in the lake were highlights for our group.

What a great vacation house! We are an extended family of 8 adults and 7 young adults (age 16+) and this house was perfect for a week's stay. The house is super well appointed and has everything you would ever want and/or need. Great indoor and outdoor spaces, fully stocked kitchen and several different living spaces to hang out (and separate when needed)! Would recommend this property without reservation! And I should mention that hosts were very responsive and helpful!

From booking to check out, Yellowbird does not disappoint! Jenn has truly thought of everything and set this house up with every amenity you could imagine. We have stayed in many home rentals and this house by far outshined them all! The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated. Again, if you need any amenity from antacids to spices, shampoo to board games- Yellowbird has it all! You cannot beat the view, even though it rained our whole trip no one complained about being cooped up inside with such a stunning view and accommodation. Goshen is a bit off the beaten path, but Jenn provides you with a great guide for things to do in the area. We traveled with two infants and were impressed by how child friendly the main floor is. There are few sharp edges and the stairwells can be closed off with a door. Not something we often think about but when you have two little ones it makes a huge difference to know they are safe outside your home. We cannot wait to come back to Yellowbird again- BRAVA Jenn!

Recently stayed here for a long weekend. The property managers are extremely responsive, provide helpful resources and are very thorough. The property itself is clean, organized and very well kept. The location is quiet, peaceful and serene. There is plenty of space in each room and the bathrooms are large. Highly suggest for a family get away!

We enjoyed our stay. It is very close to local skiing and other hiking options. House was very nice, well stocked (even firewood!) and hosts were welcoming and provided lots of info on area, things to do, places to eat etc. would also be a great lake house for the summer season on the lake.

Yellowbird is a wonderful place all around. We had a lovely weekend getaway in this well maintained and updated home on a beautiful lake. Sitting by the fire, playing cards, and the comforts of the home allowed for some much needed relaxation and connection in a safe place during the pandemic.

We had a great time ice fishing, watching the sunset over the lake and enjoying the beautiful home. We look forward to coming back!

Our family had a fabulous time at the Yellow Bird Lake House. We had all ages and there was always something to do. We kayaked, paddle boarded, fished off the dock, made s’mores and played cards into the night. It was the perfect relaxing getaway for our summer vacation. Everything we could need was stocked at the house. Plenty of towels for swimming and wood for the fire pit. We would definitely recommend this property. The owners are lovely and readily available. Great summer getaway!

Our 2 week stay at Yellowbird was absolutely amazing. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into this home - there are plenty of dishes, cookware, extra blankets, tons of board games, and multiple indoor and outdoor hangout spaces. It's like staying at a friend's house! We spent most days swimming in the lake, using the kayaks and stand up paddle board, grilling on the deck, and watching the gorgeous sunsets. With our extended stay we also had access to the club house which has a little beach, tennis courts, and a pool. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had, and we're already talking about going back next summer. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
