This property was perfect. They were very easy to work with and had great communication through the whole stay. I would recommend to anyone heading out that direction!

Stayed here for a girls trip to the Black Hills. Lovely home close to all the major attractions - Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, etc. Walking trail is close by and daily views of deer, geese and ducks. We even had a visit from a friendly neighborhood cat. It was nice to park the vehicle inside the garage. Great communication from the host!

We stayed here for a family weekend. Quiet neighborhood just a minute away from Hill City. Lovely home with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The hot-tub was wonderful after a day of trail riding. We would definitely stay again.

This was absolutely the best experience I have ever had renting a property on VRBO. The house was exactly as indicated in the listing and was spotless! The check in procedure and correspondance with Melissa regarding our stay was seemless and effortless. It was really refreshing to get a couple of emails throughout our stay to just check in and see how things were going. The property was in a fantastic location that was close to so many of the National Parks/monuments, and attractions. The house was really well equipped with everything we needed for cooking some meals, playing games together and enjoying the hot tub while stargazing. This was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Black Hills!

Three generations, ranging in age from 8-75, and everyone enjoyed our stay! We LOVED it here! Morning/evening walks on the Mikkelson trail, breakfast and dinner ingredients picked up just down the road at Krull's Market, and space (inside and outside) for everyone to relax, play games, and watch tv after dinner. Many day trip options within 30 minutes. Hotel vacations will be less likely for us on future adventures!

Nice place to visit in the middle of the Black Hills action. Hot tub is great and we enjoyed parking our vehicles inside. Cabin met all of our expectations and was well supplied.

The house isnperfectly located in a serene setting but very close to town. It has everything you need. Just as listed. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was great and pristine!

Group of 6 long time friends from MN who had a relaxing and enjoyable time at The Markque for a few nights. Comfortable accommodations in a peaceful neighborhood. Enjoyed hot tub morning and night, daily visits from deer and close to everything. Host was quick with responses and helpful. Can't go wrong at The Markque, just needed a few more days.

We biked the entire Mickelson trail over the course of 2 days. The house was just off the trail and was a nice half way point. The hot tub was great to use after a full day of biking. The house is away from the busy part of Hill City but close enough that all activities can be easily accessed.

House was clean and centrally located. When we arrived, we had no trouble getting in and everything looked great.

Stayed here with adult siblings and father. The property is well cared for and property manager was very communicative. We appreciated being near a trail and seeing all the wildlife in the area. The kitchen provides a great array of cooking utensils for everything you need.

Our stay was fabulous! The home was so well maintained and furnished. I cannot think of one thing we needed that wasn’t there for our use. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet!. I highly recommend this VRBO😊

This house was centrally located and scenery picturesque. Walking path on the Mickelson trail goes into Hill City, easily walked day or night. House was nice and clean. Walking and riding trails all nearby was a bonus for our trip!

We loved the property and the home. It was great for two families and was very well taken care of. The neighborhood is great with a pond across the street from the house and daily views of geese, deer, etc. We would definitely rent this place again.

This has been our second time at The Markque. It is such a friendly neighborhood and a great location to anything you want to do. Melissa was so quick to answer any questions we had. She even checked in on us during our stay. There are so many amenities that it makes it feel more like home than a rental property. We will be back!

This house was awesome !! Clean, great communication with me, quick to respond. Had a smoker, grill, hot tub, comfy beds, full access to use garage. Most in neighborhood were super friendly, had enough room to park 36’ trailer and 2 pickups in driveway, with Utv’s in garage. Close access to trail heads for Utv’s. Also close to town do you can enjoy all parts of Hill city.

Clean, Nice, Easy Place

Property was great. Very clean, had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked, pleasantly surprised to have essentials like toilet paper, dishsoap, napkins:). Lots of games, puzzles, fire place!

This is a great family cabin/house that we enjoyed for three days over Christmas. Thanks!!

The house worked well for our four adults and four kids (8-3 yrs old). Quiet and clean property. We made use of the smoker, grill, and jacuzzi. We appreciated having the light switches labeled.

We enjoyed staying here and would select it again if we travel to that area in the future. The home was clean and comfortable. We liked how well-appointed the kitchen was. Very central to the things we wanted to do in the area.

The house was lovely. It was immaculately clean and decorated with many thoughtful touches. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, pans, and cutlery for meal preparations. It's definitely a good value.

Nice place to stay. Good central Black Hills location. We enjoyed it very much. Some negatives...we are all senior citizens. There was no safe way to get into and out of hot tub. Night lights either didn't work or were very dim. Upstairs TV was not a smart TV. Smaller bed in double room upstairs was not comfortable. Comfort height toilet with grab bar would be nice.
