Wir hatten eine Suite im Schloss. Sehr ruhig, sauber und nett eingerichtet.

Es gibt die landestypischen Stilbrüche im Umfeld des Hauses. Z.B. hässliche Funktions - und Nebengebäude aus DDR Zeiten. Da wäre noch Potenzial.

Das Haus ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Die Sauberkeit war sehr gut.

Leider zu wenig Personal. Das wenige Personal besteht anscheinend zum größten Teil aus Auszubildenen oder Hilfskräften, die anscheinend oft überfordert sind. Das Abendbrot vom Buffet war grausig und nicht zu empfehlen. Unser Zimmer in der oberen Etage war seeehr klein und es gab dort kein WLAN.

Old property, poorly lit, uncomfortbale beds, we got a room on the top floor with a slanting room over the bathroom - super inconvenient, no elevator.

Sauna is a great feature!

On arrival our booked room was not available nor was our booking found in their system. As a result instead of spending a night in the castle we got a room in a soviet style concrete side building. Average service and breakfast were quite good but reservation handling was poor.

We enjoyed an Easter gateway, and the stay was great for a short trip. The hotel is in a great location to explore surrounding villages by car/train/walking. The breakfast was good (typical German buffet) and the sauna was a great addition. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The room was basic but sufficient. The beds and linen could be more comfortable.

Loved staying in this old building. Staff helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast

Was disappointed with the evening meal. The goulash was awful. I had the same meal in another hotel of the same chain and it was delicious.

We feel scammed. Terrible service. The call center they have was not able to give us any proper information. We wanted to have late check-in, but it was impossible to reach the hotel. We booked the room in a castle, instead we received an economy room in a hostel next to the castle because it was overbooked!!!! And when I tried to cancle the reserved they did not accept it! How can it be? They charged us for the Junior Suit and we slept in the budget hotel next to it. Terrible. Never again.

Ample breakfast with possibility to sit outisde on the upper balcony terrace; room was large and very quiet - with a full bathtub - very welcome

Internet signal was weak and unreliable from the HS hotel part; service personnel were not always available at reception causing delays in check in/out

arrived at the reception… empty :( waited 10 minutes, went about to look for someone, got to the kitchen and a rude girl takes me to the reception. I was actually shout at coz I asked her 3 times to repeat a word I didn’t understand (Dreibettzimmer) as she spoke dialect. Very rude! don’t expect a castle as it doesn’t have the charme of a castle… not even a mansion. old furniture, dusty carpets, small rooms. breakfast is very basic and split into two turn of 1h each. you skip your turn, you skip your breakfast. never again :(
