Nicely decorated and clean camp on False River. We would definitely stay there again! Close to the Sandbar boat launch. We caught catfish off the dock! Great for two couples

Nice weekend getaway

Our stay was great. The cabin was clean, and very well stocked. The views are beautiful and did not disappoint. The a/c was the star of the show for this hotter than heck summer, kept the cabin very comfortable. The kayak and fishing poles were fun too! The neighbors are pretty close, but everyone was quiet and respectful. It's a nice little spot if you are looking for lake fun.

Large windows and spacious deck overlooking water. Great overall accommodations and very clean.

House is cozy and quaint. The house was stocked with toilet paper, soap at the kitchen and bathroom sinks, trash bags, and plenty of toilet paper. Added touches were the q-tips and cotton balls stocked in the bathroom. Tv was easy to stream, plenty of outlets to plug electronics. The deck was nice, lots of seating, being on the water was beautiful. The view from the upstairs loft was gorgeous each morning. Thanks for letting us stay!

The Blue Heron was very clean and had all the comforts of home.

We stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of a long road trip before heading home to Texas. The cabin is well stocked and very comfortable. It was cold and Rainey but we were warm and comfy. I’m betting that place is even better during Lake weather. We’ll be back

We all loved this property! It was very clean, quiet and relaxing! We totally enjoyed the river setting and the views from inside as it was very cold during our stay! But we shopped and dined in New Roads, St.Francisville and Jackson! 💕

This place is fantastic. I’ve stayed quite a few places traveling all over for work and vacations this place although a hour from home is a little slice of Heaven. The house is immaculate, the view is gorgeous. You will not find a better place in this area for sure. It is closely located to Walmart for any needs, it is a short drive to Baton Rouge. We spent 2 nights here December 23 and 24th. Although the temperatures outside were freezing the view from the house onto the lake was breathtaking. All the necessities you need for cooking are furnished. My kids have not stopped talking about this place since we left 2 full days ago. Don’t hesitate when booking this place, the owners are awesome to boot!

We went down to LSU for the LSU/Alabama game, but enjoyed our stay on the False River. Our property manager was great to work with. Had everything we needed

This place was magical. So nice being on the water, and it was super easy to keep an eye on the kids while they were swimming and kayaking. We were in the area for a wedding, but we’re seriously considering making this place a regular destination. Highly recommend.

The Blue Heron lake house on the water was very clean & comfortable. Added personal touches made us feel welcome & at ease. Beautiful views from inside the home as well as outside. The home was equipped with all the necessities. It was like a soothing balm four our weary bodies, minds & souls. Thanks for sharing your “slice of heaven” with us. It was truly a haven. The property was as advertised. It was very well stocked and clean. We were quite comfortable and enjoyed the lake. The neighbors are close on both side. However, they were extremally respectful during our stay. Perfect for a weekend get a way !

My family and I were very impressed with this rental property. It was exactly what we were looking for and it exceeded our expectations. Very cute, clean, quaint and the dock is perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets.

Perfect place for relaxing. Beautiful lakehouse with an amazing view! Well-stocked bathroom and kitchen, and the large deck made for easy fishing. We can’t wait to go back!

My husband & I stayed here for the weekend. We loved this spot. It was SO clean & nice! The view off the back porch/dock was incredible. I loved the lounge chairs and rocking chairs to relax on the porch! We had everything we needed. Hot tails was our favorite restaurant. Kelly’s specialty Cajun meats had great boudin! My husband launched his boat at LA express #2 & was able to tie it to the dock at the Blue Heron. The water according to the locals was incredibly low. I wasn’t able to put the kayak in like I hoped because of that; it would have been very difficult to get out of the water. We will absolutely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Blue Heron. It was very comfortable and clean. Loved that It's right on the water and love the style of the home. Perfect getaway for my 40th birthday!
