l'emplacement et le confort de la chambre

Hotellin vastaanoton toiminta, oli hieman epäselvää mikä on hotellin vastaanotto tai baaritiski.

Siisti, hiljainen ja viihtyisä huone joka sisustettu vanhaa kunnioittaen. Aamupalalla kaikkea sopivasti. Respan ja aamupalan henkilökunnan palvelu erinomaista ja ystävällistä.

Illallinen oli pettymys. Ruoka mautonta, annokset vaatimattomia, ja 3 ruokalajin jälkeenkin jäi nälkä. Palvelu flegmaattista.

De kamer was zeer ruim en de douche was ook zeer ruim en had een fantastische waterdruk. :-) Het ontbijt was goed voor een hotel van deze klasse. Het avondeten tijdens de eerste avond was zeer goed.

De matras was te zacht voor mij zodat ik beide dagen rugklachten had. Ook werd de kamer na de eerste nacht niet schoongemaakt wat erin resulteerde dat er geen shampoo aanwezig was. Wat ook stoorde tijdens de tweede nacht was dat er een of andere studentenparty georganiseerd was in het gebouw naast het hotel waar tot 02.00 een DJ stond te draaien. Ik ben een lichte slaper dus dit wekte mij en hield me uit mijn slaap. Het avondeten op de tweede avond was helaas eentje van mixed feelings. Mijn vriendin, die geen vlees eet, had een vegetarisch gerecht besteld en dit werd geserveerd met een salade die waarschijnlijk nog van de dag ervoor over was en er was geen dressing op de salade, noch werd deze separaat aangeboden. De serveerster was zichtbaar gegeneerd en loste het op door ons niet voor de wijn te laten betalen maar zoiets mag eigenlijk niet voorkomen. Ook zaten er kurkresten in de wijn.

Environment was beautiful

The reception/restaurant area. The plastic chairs, specially red ones, did not match with the spirit of the building. We felt very disappointed when entering the property. Also, the music(too loud) was not on the line with the historical environment.

The room was spacy, high quality furnishings. Separate toilet from shower was convenient, very clean. The surroundings are lovely, great atmosphere. Dinner was very good.

If mobility issues, need to mention when booking, so you get a room with easy access. Our room was accessible by outside stairs (no elevator), however, this was just fine for us..

- The surroundings were beautiful but a bit less nice than expected - During reservation we were given an option that we can rent bikes and cycle to nearby village Fiskars, however on the spot it turned out that the hotel does not rent bikes, but we have to call a company that may then bring them (within 20min to 1 hour wait). We called the number given to us three times, nobody answered, so we did not get the bikes (ended up going by car which was okay but less nice). The hotel could have been clearer during the booking that they do not themselves rent out bikes - no sauna for guests (you have to make a private booking, which is expensive) - to my taste a bit overpriced

Nice location and environment, comfortable room. Restaurant had very tasty drink and dinner options, breakfast buffet while relatively small selection was of excellent quality. Very friendly staff!

Room could have been cleaner, minor things only though.
