We stayed there on a recent family trip to Universal Studios. The house has a great floor plan for families and room for everyone. The beds were comfy, the house was well stocked and maintained and the place was super clean. From the moment we booked, the hosts keep in good contact with us. It was very clear that this property is managed be experienced people who care about taking care of their guests. I also appreciated we had lots of TV/entertainment options and it wasn’t confusing to figure out how to work everything. There is a Trader Joe’s super close to the house too, so we could stock up with fresh/healthy food options. I didn’t feel gouged on the price or cleaning fees. Really, this was one of my best experiences renting a house. Thank you!!

The perfect place for a trip in the city with family. The location is fantastic and close to all main attractions. The house is clean and well equipped. Shawn is an amazing host, very thoughtful and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable trip!! We will definitely be back!

The owner was super professional and responses to questions were always timely and considerate. The location was great, and within walking distance to groceries. And the layout of the house was perfect for our family, allowing us to all hang out together, whether at the dinner table or watching tv or playing. Great property, great location, great owner, and great overall experience!

The property was perfect for my quick 2 day stay. Very clean, ample towels & responsive home management team. Had a little confusion because I was communicating with multiple people but it was quickly resolved by an actual phone conversation with Shaun. Highly recommend for your next stay.

Nice property. Location is pretty convenient to most of the top sites in the LA area, of course there is the SOCAL traffic but that kind of goes with the territory. My family of 6 stayed there and it was very comfortable space wise. Our grandsons loved the pool.

We stayed at the house for 5 nights. Our main purpose of the stay was to visit Universal Studio Hollywood and it was about 20-25 minutes away. It is in a quiet neighborhood. Parking was easy to find in front of the house. We did some minor cooking and kitchen had everything that we needed. Although the weather was little cloudy and cold during the most of our stay we enjoyed playing in the pool when it was sunny.
Communication about check in/out and questions were very prompt and answered quickly.
We would stay again if we visit in the area in the future.

We travelled to LA area for a few days of family time before I had to attend work meetings. The house was ideally located and a quick drive into LA and around for activities. The pool was great for relaxation and cooling from the sun as well as having a covered area to escape the sun but enjoy being outside. Bedrooms were open and airy, beds comfortable, kitchen had everything you need and the living room was a great play to watch a movie and relax after a busy day. Plenty of space for everyone :)
Also, dont miss Sol y Luna for food and happy hour -- AMAZING!!

A well-appointed home in an ideal location. There was plenty of space for us. The pool was a definite plus during our stay. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again. Thanks to Shawn and his team for a 5-star experience!

This was terrible accommodation. The house smelled strongly of marijuana on arrival. Obviously had been smoked in. We spent half a day of our vacation washing bedding because of smell and stains. House wasn’t clean. Dishes needed to be rewashed, mold growing in bathroom. Broken hair dryer and sink not draining. No plug in bathtub. A possum got in under the house through broken windows and made horrible noises keeping everyone awake on night.

We came to LA to see Universal Studios and this location was great. The house was very well laid out and had plenty of space for my wife, three kids and myself.
We would be happy to book again.

The location was next to everything. Beautiful home in quiet and quaint area.
We had an issue or two and the property owners were quick to answer and resolve the next day. All and all they were fantastic to work with and we had an amazing time.

Everything was just as pictured. The house had everything we needed, and was in a great location to get to all the attractions. We had a barbeque at home one day and we had everything we needed. Our grandkids loved having the pool. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great stay in LA.

The house, pool, and yard were very clean and well maintained. For those traveling with a baby, there is a pack n play available. We visited Universal Studios, which wasn’t too far of a commute from the house. Would definitely recommend staying at this property.

We had a very nice 2 weeks stay in Shawn's house. The house is spacious, clean and offers a big pool (perfect heat in july) in the backyards. It is in a quiet neighborhood and though it's on Burbank blvd we did'nt get much noise. A good thing is also the location very close US 101 which allows you to drive in LA quite fast. Many grocery stores and restaurants are reachable in a few minutes. Communication with Shawn was very easy. Overall a very good place to rent if you want to visit LA. We will miss this house. One last thing as a recommendation : if you drive a SUV or another big car and you need one day to park in the backyard because you can't park in the street, be cautious and drive slow or like me you will damage the back aisle.

Other amenities; such as washer/dryer, kitchen, grill, were all in great shape. Shawn is a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with and available. If I need a place in the Los Angeles area again, I will definitely stay here.

Excellent retreat getaway spot
We had 6 total people in our group and this house was the perfect fit. Great, private backyard with pool. Even if you didn’t want to swim the space is very relaxing and calming. The host was amazing. Great communication, easy to follow instructions, and gave recommendations which were really helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Convenient location with great space
Shawn was easily reached and was highly communicative. There were some minor issues which he was ready and willing to address. The house is well located and has a cute backyard with a pool. The six of us had plenty of space to stretch out in, and it was easy to find the extra cot and aero bed (along with extra sheet sets. Parking was easy. I wish the pool were heated, but in ordinary LA weather that shouldn’t be an issue (we stayed during a cold spell with weather in the 50s or low 60s). The pictures of the house in the listing are accurate. We would definitely stay again and have confidence that Shawn would promptly respond to any issue that arose.
