A truly lovely family, the best food we had in all Georgia (and a looooot of it), a nice, sufficient and clean room, beautiful mountains around, what else to wish for? :) We felt like treasured guests and the lunch boxes there were prepared to us were also hands down the best lunch boxes we had throughout the trip (you really appreciate a great crêpe and a pie after having climbed those rough hills :)). Cannot recommend it enough!

The family was super welcoming. The food was amazing! Breakfast en dinner was one of our best Georgian food experiences.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the property has an amazing views on the surrounding mountains and glacier. The staff was the nicest and kindest we encountered on our trip in Svaneti park. We were sad having to leave. They were really flexible and accommodating in terms of preparing breakfast and dinner as well which was not the case in other guest houses we stayed in.

Best place we stayed during our trek from Mestia to Ushguli! The staff were very welcoming and friendly , the food was phenomenal and there was lots of it, we are vegetarians and we’re worried about what we would eat - but no need to worry at Guest house victor! No other guest house came close to guest house victor. Private bathroom was great also!

This house is in a brilliant state, and a very modern decor, and perfectly cleaned. Hosts are really welcoming and speaks English very well. The food was the best we ate in this trek.

No air conditioning, but it is very common in this area, and at night it becomes much more chilly.

Very clean room, 4 beds in family suit room, perfect for us (with two kids). Rich breakfast and dinner with high quality foods, the hostess even brought biscuits for kids during breakfas, kids enjoyed it very much. The hostess is warm hearted with hospitality, our daughter loves her and play with her a lot.

Very friendly hosts and a beautiful house with comfortable clean rooms and a really nice garden. We even had a double bed and the biggest shower we had during our Svaneti stay. There is possibility to wash your clothes and shoes in the garden and there is a really nice sitting area outside the garden (which is amazing when you return from the hike and enjoy a cold beer in the afternoon sun). It gets a little bit cold in evening but the hosts offered us blankets and even invited us for some homemade cognac. The food was good too. On the next day, the hosts were really helpful and organized a taxi to the tetnuldi lift station. On the way we learned a lot of things about the region. Thanks!

Only two minor things we noticed, there was some smell coming from the drain and there was a building site outside the house (I think they were building a road next to the house), but this did not significantly reduce our experience.

Best of the food for the whole trip in Svanti area!! Both the quality and quantity of the food are great. The host lady was so nice to keep checking on everyone to see if everyone enjoy themselves. Strongly recommended!

The trash can in the bathroom was not clean but it is fine overall.

The mother and daughter were very kind and hospitable.

Great food and very helpful owners

This is a perfect guest house for the hike from Mestia to Ushguli. The two women are so polite, helpful, funny and they do anything to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. The food (breakfast and dinner) is so delicious!!! The rooms are very clean. Within four nights during our hike, this was definitely the best stay!

The family who owns it is so kind.. one daughter speaks perfect English and all family members were so willing to help accomodate

Our room was on there hot side (getting afternoon sun) so we needed to open the window and there was noise below so we couldn’t sleep as early as we wanted. But as soon as i mentioned it, it resolved. Also water pressure in shower was low.

The property itself is light, airy with generous communal spaces and well situated with lovely views of Svan towers and mountains. The host family are friendly and the food was plentiful and delicious.

We loved our stay at Guesthouse Victor. The family was incredibly warm, generous, kind, and super helpful. They made us feel like family. Maria cooks AMAZING food - the best food we ate in Georgia. Their home is beautiful and clean. The location was great. Definitely more rural especially during the winter when there is a lot of snow, but we loved that part of it too. They will drive you into Mestia if you need, no problem. Getting to the mountain is easy, but it is necessary to drive there. They will gladly take you up for a small extra charge, and it is also possible to ski back down all the way to Guesthouse Victor (backcountry / free ride). We had a great experience here and definitely recommend it to others.

The lovely family made us feel likebwe were really part of the family ourselves. We felt extremely welcomed! And the food Maria cooks - the best in Georgia! Not joking. Every meal was delicious.
