This cabin is conveniently located just south of Butte and in close proximity to those uses but at a distance where you can really enjoy the western Montana countryside and hiking areas. The views are incredible pure Montana and the house is spacious, modern and well equipped for your enjoyment. Thank you for such a wonderful venue.

This is such a beautiful property! We were a party of 6 adults and 1 kid and it was super comfortable for all of us. The home is very well appointed with all of the things you might need. Ellen was so responsive when I reached out. Perfect for a big group!

The home was nice and large on a huge private lot.

Place was nice and large. Was supposed to be 4 of us but due to medical issue , it was just two of us. Place large enough to handle a lot of people. It was warm a couple days and ac would have been nice. Also the frig needed a quick cleaning and I found an open bag on peanuts on the ledge by the stairs. View from the porch was amazing and watching the elk almost everyday was just pure therapy. It was also only 5 minutes to butte and that also was a plus. I would stay there again but not when it is hot.

The view of the mountains and city was great. Fairly spacious property with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Owner/manager communication was prompt and helpful. Would stay again.

The property is amazing, quiet, and serene. We saw elk every day and night. The only negative was we couldn’t find bedding for the roll away beds. We were utilizing all the beds with our family. We did not reach out to the property manager so it’s likely this could have been resolved with a phone call.

One of the nicest places that we have ever stayed in. Everything that you needed was provided. Excellent communication in a timely manner, getting there late, we were guided by Ellen for a easy entry. I would highly recommend their cabin in the sky to anyone wanting that big sky feeling

Basin creek lodge was perfect for us. We had 6 family members, everyone was very happy, and had a great time checking out the property. We saw several deer and even a badger running around. Ellen is quick to respond with any questions and made ys fell very welcome.

This large log home was everything and then some. The views are spectacular and it was so much fun to see the wildlife. Very easy drive into town. Great place for family get together and Ellen is very responsive.

Beautiful views in all directions! Lots of space. Quiet and private. My dog had so much fun and I didn't have to worry about her bothering others in a hotel.

Great stay and great host! Was very happy with the cabin! Will be staying again in the future awesome peaceful area.

We had a group of guys stay here to play golf and watch football. We had a great time and loved how private it was didn't have to worry about the noise

If I'm ever going to vacation in the Butte area again, I will definitely try and book this property again! Everything was absolutely fantastic! Very clean, large deck, beautiful decor, amazing views from every angle, comfortable beds, and fully equipped should you forget something. Even if you do, town is just a few minutes away. Plenty of parking, and easy access to the main floor and deck from there! We had only one small issue with a circuit breaker, and Ellen responded instantly on how to correct it, even though it was late at night! Much of our time there was spent on the massive, partially covered deck, enjoying the views, and an abundance of wildlife. It's hard to believe your so close to town. My entire group absolutely loved this place, and were sad to leave. Our primary goal was off road riding, and checking out some of the areas history. Both were done with ease. We all wish we would have booked a longer stay here, and if your considering this place for a vacation rental, you won't be disappointed. The pictures don't do it justice. It is marvelous! This was a great house! Loved the log cabin! Elk cows were seen off property but evidence was found on the property so we knew to be on the lookout. Everything was clean, clear instructions, miscellaneous needed items were there. It was a great experience overall!

This was such a nice place to stay. Beautiful location and breathtaking scenery. Family reunion in the perfect place.

The owner was pleasant and quick to respond. We really loved how the house felt like we were in the county yet the stores were only 10-15 minutes away. The house was clean. I would recommend for families with children and adults.

It was beautiful country side. And the house was nice. The beds were ok. The windows could have been cleaner. But overall it was nice. and I would recommend it!
