My wife and I stayed at the Cedar Cabin and had a marvelous time. Brian was responsive and attentive to detail. The hot tub was spacious and relaxing and the lake was calm and perfect for using the kayaks that were available. We enjoyed the campfire pit on the lake and watching sunsets from the dock. On rainy days we played Wii on the Apple TV in the main room. Everything we needed for meals was available and the cottage itself was clean.

What a great stay. Brian is a fantastic host who is prompt in his replies. The house was very clean and welcoming. The kids have ample of room to play inside and especially outside. The dock and deck are great places to unwind with your coffee or beer. We highly recommend you book a stay at cedar cabin. On a side note, Brian came to check in on our stay, and he couldn’t have arrived at a better time as our jetski had broken down. Brian was so helpful that he fixed it up for us for free! We couldn’t have done it without him and it would have been a big loss for our vacation, thankfully Brian saved the day. Our hero.

What a great relaxing week we had at this cabin. There's a fantastic floating dock (where I spent most of my time!), since we made the bookinf they've added a hot tub which was a wonderful surprise! When the weather wasn't cooperating there is plenty to do in the spacious inside. Smart tv, Wii console, board games... A stocked kitchen (we cooked in the cabin most days!) a grill out back as well. When we finally got cabin fever, we headed to Toronto for a day trip. Communication & check in was on point. Book it!

We had a great week at Cedar Cabin. The cottage was very clean and tidy. The view of the lake was amazing and the large backyard was great for our 2 dogs. Brian was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

We booked this after our wedding as a little time to get away to be alone. We loved how quiet and private the location was. We enjoyed sitting on the deck seeing the lake, and also sitting on the dock for an even better view. Tons of room for games in the lawn and even indoors. Brian was super quick to respond to any questions we may have had. The weather wasn’t the best when we were there (no one can control that) so we would definitely like to go back and fish more and use the canoe and kayaks that are available! Great price for the size and amenities you receive here.

We’ve rented Brian’s cabin for two long-term stays. We love it! Brian is an incredibly responsive and kind host who made sure everything was set up for our stays to be magical. The cabin has everything a family would need and is comfortable as can be. The property is in amazing shape, the house is as quiet as can be, and the tech (TVs, wifi, etc) all work perfectly. My family and I spent our Christman at this lovely cottage on the lake. The experience was exactly what we were looking for. The location couldn't be more perfect. It is a cottage in the middle of nature close enough to the GTA that we were able to visit with family during the holidays. Uxbridge was just a few minutes away if we were missing anything. The cabin was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. The 2 fireplaces created a warm and cozy atmosphere. Our host Brian was the perfect host. We had such a great time and we’ll be back.

My partner and I spent a week at this lovely cottage on the lake. The property was just as advertised, extremely clean and tidy with modern kitchen appliances and a comfortable couch in the living space! We loved the large yard, beautiful view of the lake from the deck and large living room windows, easy access to the water, and how quiet it was. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay! Brian was attentive to our needs and very accommodating. The Cedar Cabin was extremely clean and well organized with all the amenities needed for a great holiday. We took advantage of the swimming and water toys available. Hope to return next summer!

The first thing that that we noticed about the overall property was the size and the privacy. Coming from the city the overall quietness and the wonderful view from the deck to the lake was stunning. The cottage was well equipped with supplies and everything that one needs....plus more. Our 1 year old dog loved the size of the lot and the access to the lake where she learnt how to swim (although a bit weedy). There is a beautiful deck which we enjoyed sitting on; but it would be great to have a table to dine on too. We had great fun on the paddle boards and the canoe plus there was a huge fire pit for the evening. The overall experience was great and we enjoyed ourselves. If we had one area of improvement to provide it would be the beds. Although somewhat comfortable, because of the foam padding added to them (my husband tosses and turns) making it difficult for me to sleep because they were squeaky and soft. Our host Brian was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with throughout or experience. Communication was excellent. In conclusion, a great time was had by all!

We had an excellent week at the Cedar Cabin. The cottage is well appointed and the lake is gorgeous. We would definitely stay again.

We came to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and had a great time. We brought our new rescue dog, and we'll always cherish the memories of watching her learn to swim and ride with us in the canoe. The gentle slope into the water made it go so smoothly. The little dock was great for sunbathing and enjoying sunsets. We had some thundershowers during our stay, but still had laughs competing on the Wii games. We're looking forward to returning!

We enjoyed this visit so much. Started out with the adventure of the Uxbridge tornado and a power outage. Brian, the host was extremely helpful. Exploring the trails in the area and the beautiful, hilly topography as well as canoeing in the rivers at both ends of the lake was wonderful. A peaceful and private retreat with all the amenities we could ask for! Thank you!

Property was exactly as described. House was perfect size for a family of 3 or 4. We spent our week relaxing by the indoor and outdoor fires. My son had a great time splitting wood for the fire and playing the various activies provided.

Very nice stay

We had a great stay at this lovely cottage. It was a great fit for our 11 and 13 year olds with the foozball table, Wii video games and dart board. Of course we all enjoyed swimming, canoeing and fishing too. Cottage was clean and well kept. The owner Brian was very responsive and friendly. I would recommend this to a couple or a family of 4 for a relaxing vacation!

Such a great escape from the hassles of pandemic-era Toronto. Great TV/rec room downstairs, great deck with BBQ used almost every day, amazing floating dock and lake where we spent most of our month. Our cats, Biscuits and Momo, loved seeing the endless array of woodland visitors around the house. Would definitely return.

It was exactly what we needed! The only downside was red ants around all of the wood by the water but the owner was courteous in NOT treating prior to our arrival because we were bringing our dog so we were not mad at all, just didn’t sit by the fire. My only suggestion would be to add a mattress pad option because for me and my partner the bed was a bit stiff, but instead of an expensive mattress a foam pad would have made a big difference. Brian is a super friendly host and the cottage is perfect, we would stay again next summer 100%

We stayed at Brian's place for 3 nights and couldn't be happier with the accomodations. Only 1 hour from the city, right on a lake full of bass, beautiful and clean space with a massive yard for the kids to play in. I rent cottages all the times and Brian was one of the best hosts Ive interacted with. What a great guy! All and all, fair price, great location and superb hospitality! Couldn't ask for more Brian, thank you...We'll definitely be back soon!!

Excellent property, a very modern and welcoming cottage, beautiful sunset views, great location, nice deck and massive lawn to enjoy, fire pit, water platform, plenty of comfortable chairs (on the deck and by the lake), nice canoe and easy to get in/out of the lake (for a swim or with the canoe or boat). A beautiful cabin, perfect for a family of 4. It is clean, well kept, spacious, and the views will allow your mind to feel free from everyday life. The owner is so kind and helpful during your stay, if needed. He was there to show us around when we arrived and had such great energy. Tough to go home. We look forward to returning.

Property was amazing. Didn't luck out completely with the weather but overall was a great place to stay. We brought our new born with us so not being too far away but still feeling like it was perfect. The fishing was great, lake was full of bass. The backyard was gorgeous: nice dock to enjoy beautiful sunsets, nice deck in the back and firepit near the water. About a 15 minute drive from Uxbridge if you are in need of food, groceries, beer etc...

This rental property is absolutely phenomenal inside and out. It's natural beauty and splendor is matched only by the flawless nature of its upkeep. My partner and I spent a week here in June and can't wait to rebook. Natural beauty at it's finest.
