We booked this trip last minute for Father’s Day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very comfortable. Plenty of things for the kids to do. Rented a pontoon at Connelly Bottom Marina, & had a great time! ~The Jenkins Family

The house was very clean and stocked with most of what we needed for our stay. The kids enjoyed the basement area as well as the games in the garage, perfect addition! We enjoyed the views and had morning coffee out on the screened in porch! Very nice home and really enjoyed our stay!

This house is perfwct for family bonding time in the game room. We especially loved the karaoke set up! The home was clean and perfect size for our family of 6. The view of the lake is great as well as the wildlife, we saw multiple Pileated Woodpeckers and Carolina Wrens.

The location was quiet and like the listing states.

Short adventure around KY for spring break with our 2 kids. This home was our first stop. The pics of this place don't do it justice. The views are amazing. So many things for the kids to do in the house. They were excited about the bunk beds but when they realized they were on the lower level and we would be on a different floor they were not excited about them anymore. If they were teens they definitely would have been. Which is fine there was a wonderfully comfortable bed right down the hall. I think if there had been other kids with them they might have went for it. The house is not far from a number of things in the area to do. Somerset has just about everything & anything store, restaurant wise you would ever need & it's 10 mins up the road, The kitchen was fully equipped. Though we were running around during most meals and did not get to utilize it outside of making some popcorn one night. There's a TV in every room of the house which was great. My kids never wanted to go to bed because they wanted to play in the game room all night. There were so many cool games available for all of us to play. Darts, golden tee, arcade games, some derby game...it was perfect. This is of course in addition to all the stuff available on the lower level including ping pong and a Wii and indoor putt putt golf. Thank you for being the best house on our trip across Kentucky for spring break.

We stayed for a week at the Lake house. The premises was perfect, super clean and comfortable. Nice view of Lake and just close enough to town. Game room a hit with our Grandsons.

This was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken with my kids. The view was spectacular and the cabin was even better than the pictures!! The host was quick to respond and there were so many extra touches that truly made us feel welcome and at home. The game room was so much fun and my kids thoroughly enjoyed beating me at ping pong. We can’t wait to return!

My wife and I enjoyed a weekend getaway in this amazing home. Pictures didn’t do it justice. View of the lake was great. Screened in porch with comfy seating. As it got a little cool at night, enjoyed the fireplace. Tons of tv’s with Rokus and YoutubeTV. Easy to login to WiFi (and good internet speeds)! Easy to setup and access own accounts on some other streaming services. Nice touches by labeling light switches. Coffee bar was so nice, including a grinder with beans loaded up. Game room and karaoke machine were so much fun. We relaxed in the hot tub every chance we got. Bed was super comfortable. Check in/check out was easy and well laid out when cleaning up and locking up. Downstairs was so nice with a Wii and tons of games, including a putting green. Fishing poles were available, along with a cornhole set. We might bring our kids sometime (nah, we’ll keep this for ourselves for a hopeful “next time”!) Neighborhood was very quiet and nice. Dollar General right up the road for anything you’d need. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for the second time, and the house had an added game room, hot tub and bathroom in the lower level. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed watching birds and other forest animals from the back porch and screened in porch. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We had everything we needed and more. We will be staying again!

Lake was beautiful! Rented a boat and went tubing. So fun! Great towns! Went hiking in Daniel Boone forest, what a gem!! Highly recommend a trip to lake Cumberland! Loved it!

This property was perfect for the weekend getaway. No water access at all but the cabin had great amenities that kept us busy. There is not much to do around but the Boathouse was fantastic for lunch and a short drive. Great place to relax for the weekend!

Perfect get away

This home is beautiful and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the stay and the addition of the game room was a great surprise. We will definitely be returning!!

We all enjoyed the home and amenities. The view was great from the porch and deck! We got a lot of use out of the game room in the evenings. Conley Bottom was about 20 minutes away so we kept our boat docked there for the week. Overall a great stay!

We had a really good time. The house was awesome. It was the first time I planned the vacation and my son had a great time.

The property was well maintained and had everything we could of asked for and more! The view of the lake and screened in back porch was amazing! A perfect location to Conley Bottom if you are launching a boat! We had 9 people stay in the home without any issues for sleeping arrangemnets or comfort. The cottage is spacious and has a lot of things for you kids and teenagers to keep busy! We rented the cottage before the game room was added, a nice surprise and the teenagers LOVED it and spent a lot of their time in their laughing and gaming. Valarie, the owner was very responsive to any issues and helped make our stay as comfortable as possible! We cannot say enough good things about this property and the owners! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!!

This property was perfect for our family. It was 20-25 minutes to SomerSplash Waterpark and Conley Bottom. The owners included some personal touches and the game room and enclosed porch were a hit with our family. We would definitely recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean with plenty of space for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the back porch was amazing!! The house had lots to do with the game room and even had puzzles that our little one loved! Absolutely the best house we have ever rented through VRBO.

This lake house was exactly as it was portrayed and then some. Very clean, well decorated, comfortable and just fun. We enjoyed the game room in the garage and the basement! The view was spectacular! The host was very helpful with the surrounding area amenities for a boat slip and other activities. We have already decided we are going there annually!

We loved everything about this property! It’s convenient to Lake Cumberland-we rented at boat at Conley Bottom and we able to get there in less than 20 min. It’s also convenient to shopping and restaurants in Somerset. Our kids (12 and 10) loved the newly added game room. And the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. The screened in porch with a view of the lake was great for an early morning coffee or an evening wind down with a book. We are already talking about going back!

The house was amazing. There were plenty of games to occupy our time when it was raining. Everyone really enjoyed the karaoke machine.

We loved the Lake House! Stayed for a girlfriends trip. Beds comfortable, game room was a blast! It’s just a short drive to Conley Bottom where we rented a pontoon for the day. Ate twice at the marina there - super friendly service and good food. We will be back. I highly recommend this listing.
