We visited with our children, their wives, our grandchildren, and dogs. That backyard! It’s amazing. The short walk to the beach is perfect. Super comfy with all the extras. This was our second stay and look forward to staying again.

This house has it all plus more!!! The location, the layout, the rooms, that backyard(just wow), the walk to the beach was so short!!! Plenty of parking. Pet friendly. All the amenities plus special touches throughout made our stay fantastic. Looking forward to booking again

Oh my goodness! This was my first time to the Charleston area, however we had a few friends with us that visit Isle of Palms often. All 9 of us ladies had the most wonderful stay in "The Freida House," as we called it. The communication with the host was prompt and helpful. The little touches from the welcome gift to even a special parting gift were heartwarming. The beds were so comfortable and we especially loved the day beds which worked out well for our bachelorette party. The house never felt overcrowded with 9 of us staying there. There were plenty of towels, a fully stocked kitchen (utensils, dishes, pots/pans). The backyard was an oasis in itself even with the beach being a 3 minute walk across the street. The location is perfect - not too far down the island and super close to the grocery store, restaurants and shops. I cannot wait to bring my family back to this beautiful place and will definitely rent from this host again!

beautiful house and well kept. outdoor space was as perfect as indoor. thoughtful notes everywhere and tons of things to do. short walk to the beach and ample beach gear ready to borrow. nothing needed and we all had a fantastic stay. 2 small suggestions... reminder about check closer to the check in date and more first aid supplies. that aside, which were super small and easy to handle, we love love loved the house.

Good location, short walk to beach and 15 minute walk to shops, restaurants, etc. renting a golf cart was great and well worth it!!! Not very expensive either. Would come back again.

Everything was as advertised. The owner has everything set up nice, clean and organized. The backyard was great for the kids and entertainment. This property is really close to the beach, only a couple houses away from the beach access.

Perfect Vacation
This property was even more gorgeous in person! Everything about this property felt like home. I think the owner's connection to every piece of furniture and decoration in the house really helps it to feel that way! My family had a great time. Every room in the house is comfortable and all the extra immenities really set it apart (The games, the hot tub, firepit ect) The location is perfect. Within walking distance of the beach and it's close to a grocery store. Check in was easy, check out was easy, and the owner was always available. She went above and beyond with a welcome and a goodbye. Thank you Melissa! We hope to be back someday!

Getaway with out of town family
We had a lovely time during our stay at this beautiful property. The amenities are amazing and the location to the beach was perfect. All the 16-21 yr olds in the group loved the karaoke machine and foosball table and enjoyed the hot tub as well.

Fall Break
Our group of 3 adults, 3 children, & a small dog had the best time here! The beautiful house was incredibly spacious, clean, & very colorful. We appreciated all of the provided supplies (an abundance of dishes, silverware, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, beach chairs, beach toys, etc) & the very short walk to the beach. Melissa was a wonderful & extremely thoughtful host. We will definitely return to this amazing home the next time we're in IOP.

Beautiful Home Close to the Beach
The house was very clean and thoughtful touches throughout (plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, a thoughtful welcome gift, etc) . We loved the outdoor living area. We did have some difficulty using the appliances but suggested to the owner that they should leave instructions and I think she will be able to easily do that for future guests. The beach is very close, however you do have to cross a street that is very busy at times to get there but there would usually be a car that would see you waiting would stop and let you pass in a reasonable amount of time waiting when it was busy! We enjoyed much our stay and Melissa was a very accommodating host! Our dogs and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Melissa!

Amazing home in great location!
We absolutely loved staying at Melissa’s beautiful property in Isle of Palms. There were five women in our group and a small dog, and we had plenty of space to relax. We spent a lot of time in the gorgeous backyard, and we also frequently made the very quick walk to the beach—the location is fantastic. Melissa provided great beach equipment, a lovely gift, and thoughtful touches throughout the home. Highly recommend thus house for a girls’ trip—we certainly hope to visit again!

Everything was perfect! The house was super clean, gorgeous and fun decor, so much thought put into every detail. The host was super communicative and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Perfect house for a girls weekend! The proximity to the beach was ideal. Lots of cute restaurants to walk to. The private backyard feels super relaxing. I cannot recommend this property enough!!

Fun beach getaway
We had a great time at Melissa’s rental during our annual family beach trip to Isle of Palms. The home looks exactly as pictured and is in a great location with beach access only 1 block away. Most importantly, Melissa has great personal touches that makes the home an experience versus a rental, down to the welcome gift of tequila, which we used to make peach jalapeño margaritas! Thanks again Melissa for a great property.

We, my family, and I had a terrific week to bond together after the death of my husband from Covid. There was absolutely no way anyone could’ve been sad in this bright, beautiful, colorful house. It was so relaxing and they gave us a time to reflect on memories and to rejuvenate our spirit. We will definitely be booking this house again in the future.

We could not have had a better stay! The home was spectacular and exactly what we envisioned for our girls weekend away. The location could not have been better, Melissa was an incredibly helpful host when we had an unexpected struggle with the dishwasher, and the ambiance and aesthetic of the property contributed to a really special long weekend. Much needed retreat
The best feature (and most used space) was the fenced backyard. The space kept our dogs safe, allowed us to play games and soak in the sun. I appreciated the bright colors and thoughtfulness of the interior design, as well.

Mother’s Day Getaway
We loved this property! Pristine clean, colorful decor, fully stocked kitchen — the fridge was stocked with cold drinks when we arrived! The beds were super comfy, the bathrooms provided with tropical scented toiletries, and the hot tub was a group favorite! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to coke back one day!

Perfect for friend getaway
A group of us stayed at Melissa’s property for a friend getaway, and it was perfect! The outdoor space is ideal with several different places to hang out, along with a huge grill, hot tub and outdoor shower. The decor inside is so colorful and beautiful, and everything is updated throughout. The beds were comfy and we all commented on how nice the sheets were! And Melissa thought of everything - down to the colorful beach towels, well-appointed kitchen, and helpful signs and reminders throughout the house. And while we didn’t use it (this was a kid-free weekend for us!) there is a cute kids game room on the first floor. Checkin and check out process was a breeze. And the location is perfect - short walk to the beach and easy walk to town for food/nightlife/groceries. Melissa was also a great host and easy to get ahold of. Would certainly recommend!
