Wonderful hospitality, beautiful, wonder-inspiring location and such a serene site and lovely home. We loved being able to get into Wellfleet and P-town and access beaches BEFORE the crowds of summer, too. The house itself had all the amenities and instructions we needed and was very clean - I miss that screen porch first thing in the morning!

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. Everything was clean and comfortable. They had all the things you could need on your stay. The location is private but close to everything. About an 18 minute drive to P-town. Mac’s Seafood in P-Town is open year round and was amazing.

The house is so lovely, for a couple or a group. Big enough to make a gathering comfortable and cozy enough for 2 (or 1!). We’ll be back with the kids, and loved our couples weekend of eating on the screened porch in the woods, being cozy on the couch and exploring Wellfleet and the upper Cape. Kate is a stellar host, always responsive and helpful.

Absolutely clean, organized, beautiful and well loved home, with every consideration taken to make us feel welcome and at home. Every detail was perfect to ensure a comfortable stay. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood conveniently located a short drive from town, the ponds and beaches. Was difficult for us to leave, and looking forward to when we can return.

This property is perfectly thought out. So close to beaches, town center, and the bike trail. Located on a quiet road with privacy. Inside the home, is open and spacious with room to all be together. The outdoor screened porch is so relaxing. The little things around the house like beach chairs, towels, chargers, coffee, etc. makes all the difference and life a bit more relaxing during your stay.

Well appointed and totally comfortable with all the amenities you could desire. Nestled among trees the screened in porch is delightful. Outdoor shower and 2 hammocks too. This is our 2nd time with 5 adults. Lots of room to be together or apart. Can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing stay at this house! First, the location couldn’t be more perfect: you have peace and privacy, but are so close to beaches, ponds, downtown Wellfleet, and a short drive to P Town. The house is comfy and inviting and we loved the screened- in porch, the outdoor shower, and the downstairs hang spot for the kids. The hosts go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, and are very communicative. We hope to come back!

We stayed here with our two teenage boys, and enjoyed every minute of it. The location is fantastic (bike to Wellfleet center, and short car rides to beaches and ponds). The house and everything in it is exceptionally clean, functional, well designed, and beautiful. We used the outdoor screened dining room every day. Our boys enjoyed having their own separate room, outdoor space and bathroom downstairs. The area is very quiet and the surrounding trees make for lovely shade. We've been coming to Wellfleet for many years, but this was by far the nicest stay we've had. We can't wait to be back!

What a wonderful house to stay a week in Wellfleet. House is stocked with everything you need- hosts go the extra mile. The screened in porch is a relaxing spot for morning cup of coffee or evening cocktails. Perfect location for privacy but close to all Wellfleet has to offer. Have been renting in area for awhile and one of the best houses we have rented.

The bonus for us, aside from the outdoor shower and screened porch, was the wonderful coffee setup and the thoughtful amenities. We loved our stay. Not really suitable for toddlers because of an open staircase, but for older children and adults a great spot. We were so happy with our stay.

The house is lovely, very well-maintained, clean, and tastefully decorated. The large screened porch is a highlight! The kitchen is unusually well stocked for a rental property, and even has a Nespresso machine (with pods supplied!). Great location, convenient to both ocean and bay beaches and quiet roads for cycling. Our family of 4 loved it.

Long time Wellfleet travelers, new to this property. It was delightful! Great cooking supplies. Screened in porch and outdoor showers were highlights for us. Hot week, so nice to have A/C units (though I'm sad that we needed to use them). Highly recommend and hope to return.

This house suits our family's needs well. That said, from a renter's perspective, it makes sense to switch out the tiny bunk beds for two twin beds or a queen, as the house is advertised as sleeping 6. It's actually 4 and two children. The bunk beds are not suitable for teens or adults.

A very charming 2 bedroom cottage perfectly located minutes driving from Wellfleet harbour, the village and Hwy 6. Privacy in the Pines indeed! Lovely forest views from every window the area is quiet and peaceful. The screened in porch is a delight and many hours were spent having meals and playing games there. As well, the outdoor shower was enjoyed by all after lazy days spent at the beach. Our trip coincided with a heat wave and the air conditioning was a blessing at night. The house has a well stocked kitchen and all the amenities you might need plus a fabulous Nespresso coffee maker! Kate was a delight to communicate with. Check-in and check-out could not have been easier. We all hope to return one day soon to "Wellfleet Woodlands" for another enjoyable vacation plus I need a Corn Hole rematch in the front garden at this delightful property!

We loved this Wellfleet property. It was perfect for my husband and me, our two young children, and my parents. The home was spotless, and the highlight of the property for us was a large and newly updated screened-in deck where we had all our meals and enjoyed coffee in the morning. The deck is elevated and surrounded by trees, making it very peaceful. I initially thought the property might be a bit small for six people, but there was ample space. My children loved the kids room in the basement and enjoyed sharing the bunk beds. My only suggestion is to add a second railing to the stairwell to the basement. We had a two-year-old and were a bit nervous about the stairs being open on one side. Otherwise, it was perfect, and we loved the neighborhood which had a woodsy feel to it... perfect for daily walks. It was close to many excellent bayside and ocean beaches. The owners are fantastic and incredibly responsive. Don't hesitate to book this property; you will be happy. We are already planning to rebook for next year!

The home is lovely, and very comfortable for the 4 of us. We especially enjoyed sitting on the (covered and screened) back deck. Great place for breakfast, conversations and a resting break anytime. Wellfleet is a nice town (wonderful steamers at Pearl Restaurant), and Provincetown offered its wonderful eclectic and artsy scene, as well as a fine whale watch on the Dolphin Fleet. All in all, this VRBO home was a wonderful base for our explorations.

Accurate listing, clean, cute, good light. 5 minute drive from downtown Wellfleet and 15-20 minutes from Provincetown. Loved the screened-in back porch and open ceiling dining area. Would stay again!

Kate & Marisa have a lovely home. Very comfy for 2 couples. Although the cooking area was compact, it was well-stocked with supplies and necessities. The coffee lovers in the group really appreciated the Nespresso (one may even have to purchase their own upon returning home!). Close to the rail trail and a quick trip into P-Town, the house was conveniently located to explore the Outer Cape. A little chilly when we were there, so no beach days on the schedule but plenty of other activities to keep us busy. We tried out Mac's Shack (the welcome basket was a nice treat!) and PB Boulangerie-- We'll have to come back to try more local spots. Kate was quick to respond whenever we had a question--always a plus when staying in a new place.

My partner and I rented this house with a couple friends for a long weekend getaway and it was amazing. Having the full kitchen and grill was awesome for cooking breakfast and dinner. We were warned that the bugs can get to be a lot, but the screened in porch was a great way to still have time outside without all the mosquito bites. The only thing that was missing was a TV/couch combo. The main TV is downstairs with a large beanbag chair in the kids room. Not ideal for multiple adults, but if you're looking for a screen free/light trip then it's a non issue.

The neigbourhood is very quiet and peacfull and the screened veranda is very welcoming. Well located, we enjoyed our stay and will be back

This Wellfleet wonder is convenient, clean, and well-appointed for a Cape vacation. I really appreciate the amenities to match the thorough description, as well as proactive communication from the owner (for example, when we lost power during an unusual weather event). Would stay again!

This is a lovely, well-appointed home with every creature comfort you need for an enjoyable stay. The screened-in porch is especially wonderful. The house is in a quiet, wooded area and getting to beaches, ponds, and Wellfleet Center is a just short drive and very convenient. It's one of the best homes and locations we enjoyed in our many years renting in Wellfleet. Recommended! The owner Kate was very responsive and attentive to our needs and was a pleasure.

The house was very well appointed with loving attention to detail. We loved the decor, a combination of old and new with original artwork mixed in. The colors, furnishings and accessories made for a very pleasing, relaxing and welcoming vibe. As a professional chef, I loved that the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals for the family. I LOVED the Nespresso machine (with complimentary coffee pods) and milk frother, it made my mornings extra special! Our favorite room was the sceened in porch with fairy lights where we had all of our family meals. There were so many nice extra touches that our hosts provided to make our stay more comfortable and Kate was very responsive, which was important as the start of our vacation coincided with a hurricane (all was well)! The house is well situated in a quiet neighborhood and easy driving distance from the ocean and ponds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!!.

Lovely Cape home in quiet neighborhood, conveniently located about 2 miles from Wellfleet Center. We loved being able to bike to town on back roads or take a 5 minute car ride to our favorite Wellfleet ponds and beaches, barely needing to get on Rt.6. The house was super clean and nicely furnished with a mix of modern and traditional pieces. Kate was so nice and easy to communicate with when questions arose. Special touches included: a welcome basket, lots of Nespresso coffee (as well as 2 other types of coffee makers to suit everyone's preference), a great collection of books, and comfortable beach chairs. The screened in porch was one of our favorite spots to eat meals and relax. And of course, the outdoor shower was terrific! It's a great house for a family of 4 or 5. The kitchen is highly functional but not large. (Two cooks max at one time.) The bunk beds on the lower level are really only suited for younger children. A full size twin/trundle bed might be a better, more flexible option and some form of A/C would also make this lower level a more comfortable space (there was a dehumidifier). Overall, the house is well-equipped with a nice Weber grill, full size W/D, and D/W, as well as window A/C units in the living room and upstairs bedrooms. We found the home pleasingly simple, solid and inviting. Definitely a good vibe and a home to which we would love to return.
