The location is at the end of the road, so the only traffic is an occasional boat. Being at the river is just relaxing. The bed and couches were also lovely. Wish I could have spent more time in the house and with family at the property. Maybe next trip. And the owner was absolutely amazing at answering my questions and responding very quickly!! The PERFECT place to catch up with family and enjoy the river! Looks just as it does in the photos with a very nice and safe cove for younger kids to play in the river with life jackets on.

Cabin looks just like pictures. We had 7 adults in our group and had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. Cabin was fully furnished and clean. We enjoyed the deck area. Very relaxing just sitting and watching the boaters on the river. We floated one day through KC’s on the Current. We can’t wait to book again.

This was a great house in the water. We came down for the poker run it was very nice and had it's own ramp to launch boats. The house was clean and very comfortable.

It was perfect! Loved how it was on the end of the lane so it was quiet and didn’t have to worry about people driving by. Wry peaceful being right on the water and the owners were able to provide us suggestions on where to eat and where to rent tubes.

Owner was very helpful with kayak trip planning and very quick responses with any questions I had. House was perfect for our group. Very memorable trip for our sons senior trip with friends.

We had a wonderful stay! Current river is beautiful. Cabin was perfect. Owners communicated with us during stay. The best was 3 days floating the current.

We loved the location and ability to get down to the water to swim a play. The big deck was a very nice area to hang out and watch the boats. Everything was clean and neat. Well organized. We had NO problems and really enjoyed the stay. My kids wanted to stay there forever.

Our family of five stayed here for five nights, and the house was perfect for us! We loved sitting out on the balcony in the mornings and evenings and watching the wildlife---we saw fish, turtles, many types of birds, and some baby deer! We also brought two inflatable kayaks and an inflatable 3-person boat along with us and spent many hours on the river. We found that the best way to do that was to drive to the Doniphan boat ramp (next to Rocky River Resort) and then float back to the house. Of course, that way, one of us had to be the driver and couldn't float, so one of the days we drove to Deer Leap and floated the six miles to Rocky River Resort and then had them drive us back to our van for a $15 fee. (Tip: I should have dropped off the boats, then driven back to RRR and parked there and had them drive me back to Deer Leap. That way I wouldn't have had to worry about getting back to RRR in time for their last shuttle or pay the $3 parking fee at Deer Leap). We were very happy with our stay and found the owners to be responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

We had such a relaxing weekend staying in this beautiful cabin. It’s located at the end of the road, very private and quiet. We spent hours on the balcony swing just enjoying the amazing view of the river. The fishing is great! Our daughter caught over 20 fish, mostly small mouth bass, some close to 3lbs. They have a huge open field next to the house, overlooking the river, that we used to play washers, whiffle ball, and had fire pits every night. The inside of the house was very clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed, and more. The beds in both of the two bedrooms were comfortable, and our daughter loved her little bunk alcove in our room. There was a grocery store and gas station just a few miles away. We loved our weekend getaway and wished it was longer! We hope to stay again soon!!
