We had a great stay with three generations of our family. The space was great for us all to be together, but also spread out when we needed to.

We were very impressed with the home and the neighborhood. The house had plenty of room. We enjoyed our down time and most of all we didn't spent a lot of money. Thank ya'll for your business. We will be back next year SIGN THE CARTMELL'S

Had a long weekend trip with our kids and grandbabies. House was very clean and had everything we needed.

I was clean. Lots of kitchen items - some were duplicates -like skillets. Overall the house was very good for us. I would recommend to others.

We struggle to get the whole family together for a vacation these days. This property had everything we needed to unplug and enjoy our family time. The house was spotless. You could recognize the many upgrades the new owners added to make it comfortable. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home on Lake Cumberland.

Friends get together and it was a wonderful place to relax, and stay. Lots of space and each of us had our own bath. Took advantage of golf nearby, swimming pool and Burnside Marina. Will definitely think to stay here again!

This house was amazing! It was huge with everything you needed to stay for numerous days. It had the pool table, ping pong, and hot tub which gave all people in different age groups something to do. It was very clean and everything was in working order. I would recommend to this house to anyone but especially those with a big family. The owners answered every question quickly which was very nice!

I loved the location of this house. This is the 4th time I've stayed in Lake Cumberland Resort III. I'm not a big fan of the operations of this resort, however Mike was great to work with. The house overall was great, as it had enough room for my family. The 5 1/2 baths were great. The amenities were also great; pool table, ping pong, hot tub, and lots of games. One of the pluses for this house was the wifi! The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to fix meals for big families (with the exception of a whisk which I'm sure got misplaced by guests, not the owners). The only thing that kept the 5 star rating was the smell in the basement/garage game room and some of the upgrades that the owners are working on. The cleanliness of the property was good (the only negative to the cleaning are the resort's housekeepers; as I have found lacking in the other properties also that I have rented in this resort) The resort really needs to investigate and upgrade the standards of their cleaning and maintenance crews. Again, this is not the owners fault. Mike was great to work with. I would definitely recommend this house to stay and will return again. Thank you Mike for being so great to work with.

The property was wonderful. The house was huge and well stocked with everything needed. We loved the pool table and the outside decks. The beds furniture were very comfortable. The communication with the owners was easy and prompt. Check in was simple. Will definitely stay again.

We had great time at the cabin, it's fully loaded with lots of activity and with beautiful overlook of the river. Mike(host) is very responsive and helping guy. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay...

Great place for a large group! There was a major storm the weekend that we were there so there was no electricity when we arrived. The owner kept in touch and kept us updated throughout the day though so we knew there was no power before we got there. It came back on the next day so we were able to enjoy the hot tub and everything else for the rest of our stay. Some of our group weren’t able to make it due to the weather so there was only 6 of us but there was plenty of room for at least twice that many. This was our second stay at this house and would definitely be my first choice if we’re ever back in the area.

We really enjoyed out time in Kentucky for Thanksgiving 2022. The house was perfect for our big group. We had a blast in the hot tub and really enjoyed the beautiful view. E We made a full thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and had enough utensils and all the pots n pans needed. It was perfect. Thank you. We look forward to staying again. The only downfall which is completely out of the property owners control is that the road leading up to the resort is very windy. We had quite a few get Car sick each time we left.

Views were breathtaking and the properly was clean and amazingly well-stocked! Had everything we could need and things we needed but didn't realize we needed until we found them! Just wish we would have had more time there.

We were so happy with the size of the property and sleeping arrangements. The house was one of the most well stocked I’ve ever stayed in. The one thing we discussed we would add to the property would be a tv either in the dining area or where the pool table is. The view is phenomenal over looking the water. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was exactly as pictured, and check in was the easiest ever. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils! They also had plenty of board games/puzzles in the main living room which was great! Bathrooms were stocked with shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion/towels. The gas fire pit was also very nice and of course so was the hot tub! And lets not forget the view was beautiful! Overall 10/10 and would definitely come back and recommend. Thank you so much!

"Good evening Mike and Gwen, We had a fabulous time at your house on Majestic Dr in Burnside Kentucky. Our group fit in well in the home and it was great having the five bathrooms and of course, all of the bedrooms. It was also nice to have all of the refrigerator space. We found the living room on the main level to be a good gathering place for our group. Our group traveled to Lexington for the horse farm tour along with lunch at Home Stretch Bar and Grill (highly recommended, good food). We then went to Wilderness Trail Distillery for tour and tasting. Although the drive out to Highway 27 was a bit challenging for some of the group (car sickness) we managed to take a riverboat cruise on the Cumberland Star (good time) and another day boarded the Big South Fork Scenic railways train for a three hour trip (underwhelming). We also had all of our group do a craft (hopefully I can attach a photo). It was a lot of fun and the (covered) pool table was a good work space for it. Some of the group went down to the pool and really enjoyed it (a bathroom there would be very beneficial). It was a great week for all and I appreciate everything you have done for us!

The house was fantastic. The location was perfect. We were close to the lake and marina with a beautiful view. There were other houses close but all was quiet. We love hiking and were close to many hiking trails. The lake was amazing and we rented a boat from the local marina. they were fabulous to work with as well. There were 11 of us and we all loved the house and will return. The owners were fantastic to work with and are doing an amazing job updating things and making the house amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The house was very clean and well stocked. Great view and plenty of room for our while family.

This was a beautiful rental. Clean, everything worked as it should have, comfortable beds, nice towels and a very nice pool table and sticks! Our group played pool every night. Hot tub was clean. Used the community pool and it was nice and clean. No restrooms at the pool, just a heads up. What the locals call the hill going up to the resort is what I consider a mountain, lol. You will have about 6 miles of winding roads going up. But the roads were well maintained. We had 5 motorcycles in the rain going up to the house. When you go through the gate you will need to go down a steep curvy hill. It was a bit tricky for them in the rain but no issues when it was dry. This is a beautiful property and I highly recommend it. Also we rented a pontoon from burnside marina, it was a blast.

We rented this house to have a long weekend away with 3 families. Plenty of rooms and beds available for 14 of us. Clean and well equipped house with all we needed. View of the lake was gorgeous. There were games and movies which was an added bonus. The community has 3 pools, we only went to the in the same gated area as the house. Modest but nice pool. We ventured out to Cumberland Falls to see the moonbow, Natural Arch Scenic Area, and Yahoo Falls. All within 30 mins of house.

Property is exactly as advertised! We had one issue upon arrival that was dealt with by the owner immediately! They stayed in touch throughout our stay. The kitchen is very well stocked and the extra touches by the owners were much appreciated, such as plenty of toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap to get started so we didn’t have to run out right away! The view is amazing and we enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely consider coming back. The only negative I can think of is that the closest communal pool does not have restroom facilities but certainly nothing the owner can do about that! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

My family of 12 had a wonderful time at this beautiful home ...plenty of room for everyone to have their own space ..the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable ..views from all windows are incredible ...we will definitely go back ! Vicki Douglas

This was a perfect getaway for a mix of relaxing and adventure

Beautiful house! Exactly as described. No land/trails for walks- have to drive to find any place to safely walk. Road in was very steep and a little nerve wracking If you don’t like heights and twisty roads. Would love to see a community notebook you see in many rentals with maps and lists of things in the area available. Kitchen was so well stocked except we needed a few tongs- house only had one.

We enjoyed our stay with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Loved each room having a full bath!!
