Odd setup using curtains for privacy. Plain dark grey building is not what's shown in the advertising.

The penthouse apartment was sleek and comfortable. The high ceilings and decor made it easy to relax. The living room was huge and we enjoyed the fun, retro furniture. Kitchen had everything we needed and bathroom was elegant. Beds were super comfortable and it was nice to have a balcony, even in the winter.

Only a few small things: a towel ring for the hand towel and more hooks in the bathroom. And the apartment could use a full length mirror (near the bedroom hallway would work) or at least another mirror somewhere.

very pricey

I really liked the kitchenette the room had. It consisted of everything you could possibly need for coffee, tea, warming things up and keeping things cold. Even had dishes and spices to cook with. The only thing it did not have was something to cook on. Maybe adding a hot plate would be beneficial.

There was nothing I did not like.

Location was perfect. An easy walk to get to the main part of town. Quiet area with easy access to the other shops and restaurants that surround the surf hotel.

We didn’t get any breakfast. It was closed.

There needed to be a chair in the bedrooms, another mirror, covers for the windows facing the rooms across the way, a mirror in the bedrooms.

Comfortable and clean

There was no information in the condo about the unit or rules for use. Example no information on the wi fi name or the password. It is a tiny slip of paper attached to a light switch that is behind a curtain. No info on what to do with the trash, especially food trash.

The hotel served no breakfast, but in our one bedroom apartment, we had a full kitchen, and therefore cooked our own breakfast, or we also had the option to go to a restaurant nearby, in Buena Vista. The apartment was very stocked, esp. the kitchen, and had everything that we needed. Lovely!

We loved the residence and how it was decorated. It was very clean. Free parking.

We wished the property had more mirrors. We were there for a wedding so it was tough getting ready with the only mirror being in the bathroom. Also had a bartender at the Surf Hotel bar that was very rude when trying to use the drink tokens that were provided by the property. Every other staff member was very nice though!

Place was perfect for our needs. With the trails close by it made for a very enjoyable stay.

Walls and floors are paper thin. Be sure to bring earplugs.

Location, style, new, kitchen facilities

Bathroom and shower were extremely small. No place to put your toiletries in bathroom and not much space for luggage. No stove top but all other kitchen appliances were there.

The restaurant at Surf hotel served great food but had no flexibility around any kind of substitutions....very rigid

Apartment was spacious and well-equipped, with lovely views of the surrounding area, right in the South Main area and walkable into central Buena Vista.

Aircon had a very loud exhaust fan.
