This is one of our go to when coming to eminence. The house is quiet close to Dairy Shack , breakfast , and morning coffee, all walkable . The owner is great to work with when there is some unforeseeable issue and is quick to respond. The deck gives nice place to unwind whether you are floating , riding or hiking . I highly recommend

We took a late October vacation to relax and enjoy the changing leaves in Shannon County. We found this home to be very well maintained. We enjoyed the spacious bathroom and the well-stocked kitchen. We also enjoyed restaurants within walking distance. It was nice to have freedom to move around and not be bothered by anyone. We also appreciated the property owner's assistance when we needed it. We would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a quiet, private place to stay in Emminence.

Centrally located in town. Cute little property perfectly situated for access to all the Ozarks have to offer.

My large family (20-30 people) travels to Eminence together every summer to visit the area where our family is from. Our group usually books up most of the local motel but this year my husband and I had our 1 1/2 year old and we wanted a place where he would have plenty of room to run and play, and a place where we wouldn’t have to worry about close neighbors in case of a meltdown or two lol. This place was perfect! It was so cute and cozy! There was plenty of room for us and the best part, it was right up the hill behind Dairy Shack! The hosts were more than accommodating! We will definitely be booking this place for years to come! Amazing place.

The location of this property is perfect. You can walk across the street to Dairy Shack and get good food and ice cream. The gas station and hardware store are also that close. You are 1 minute from the entrance to a large camp ground and 1 minute from river access. Having laundry also helps but the best part is the property owner. He was the easiest to work with. I had some questions and he was very prompt and nice! I highly recommend this listing AND any listing this owner has as he was so great to work with. We will be back and it was perfect for us!!

Everything was as expected as I know the area well. However, the floor was not swept or vacuumed well at all and my friend was injured by stepping on slivers of glass that had apparently been broken at some time.

Owner was very nice and responsive. Location was great - right behind Dairy Shack. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Property was very clean and had everything we needed. Great location within walking distance to town and river. Owner was very quick to communicate and answer any questions. Will stay her again if ever back in Eminence.

We had a great time and enjoyed the town and the rental. We did not have access to the washer and dyer as stated in the listing but we made do. The house could use some "kid friendly" cups and more forks and some dish towels/pot holders. Other then that it was great and neatly set up. The owner allowed us to check in early due to a death in the family. After driving 16hrs that was very much appreciated. Will rent again in the future.

The cabin was perfect! Upon arrival the tvs were tuned the correct places. The cabin was neat & clean and was supplied with fresh towels, soaps, shampoo and hair dryer. There was a Keurig coffee maker with coffee & hot chocolate pods ready for us. And for breakfast there was sweet rolls & instant oatmeal packets. We had received a message from the owner stating where the key would be, his phone number and a message stating if we had questions or problems to feel free to call. Our cabin was located close to anything we needed in town. We would definitely rent from him again and we highly recommend it! Thank you Joseph!!!

The location is good if you want to be in the center of town. Nice deck to sit and people watch and you can walk to multiple restaurants. Overall it suited our needs and we had a wonderful time.

This house was recently redone inside and is a great place to stay for the weekend. It was central to our float as well as Peck Ranch, Rocky Falls, Blue Spring, and Big Spring. Our dogs enjoyed the stay as well. Most importantly, it was across the street from The Dairy Shack, which has fantastic food as well as ice cream of all kinds. The property owner was great with communication and was very helpful. We are likely to return.

We’ve stayed here twice because it’s a great location for a Jacks Fork float trip. Windy canoe rentals will pick you up and drop you off at the VRBO. The house is comfortable and well-stocked but also just steps away from a Sinclair convenient mart and The Dairy Shack. There are also a couple of restaurants and bars in walking distance. We enjoyed sitting on the spacious upper-level deck and watching the town activity.

Host was very accommodating. Property is within walking distance to food, gas, and drinks! Definitely recommend!

Everything we needed was within walking distance for our float trip. We enjoyed sitting outside on the raised deck. Joseph is easy and prompt to communicate with. The house had everything we needed!

This was the 3rd place we have stayed in Eminence and our current favorite. It was a cute and comfortable house. The air conditioner worked very well and there were lots of extras we hadn't seen other places we stay such as plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, bathroom necessities ie shampoo, conditioner, aloe Vera etc. They left some ice for us, snacks and condiments in fridge as well. To top it off it is located right behind the Dairy Shack so was walking distance to great food! Will definitely book again when going back!

Conveniently located to Jack’s Fork River, Great stay

The cleanliness of the inside needed more attention. Very dusty and air filter changed. We were there in October and it was much cleaner. Other than that a good experience.

The house was just as as described. Joseph was great and even let us check in a bit early since the house was ready. The only negatives was having only two wash cloths for a five day stay. Second was starting dinner in the grill and finding the propane tank empty. We would stay here again.

Great place to stay. Perfect location. Listed as sleeping 5 with available couch however couch was not available for sleeping as linens and blankets were not available. Owner did offer to bring linens, however indicated couch should not have been listed as a sleeping space.

The house was old but had character. The location was awesome being close to the 4-way, it was still quiet and pleasant. Having a gas station, bars, the Dairy Shack and more with in walking distance is a huge plus. Kayaking, wild horses and back roads, this is the place to go. We will be back. Owner was VERY helpful and did all to help us have an amazing stay. This property has a lot of potential and the city is booming with tourist. Can’t wait to visit next year!!! #lovefromindiana

We found this spot when looking for a place to stay close to Echo Bluff campground. The bed was very comfortable, the AC was comfortable to turn up/down, the shower was hot and there was a backyard for our dogs. The owner was very attentive to our check-in process and always prompt in responding to email.

First Vrbo rental and the process was smooth. The host Joseph was very responsive and kind. The house was neat and tidy and fit our needs perfectly. Off street parking and coffee were perks.

The welcome basket with coffee and cinnamon buns and hot chocolate were wonderful. The house was everything that we expected it would be. Very clean and right in town. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a clean, well maintained house. The only thing that wasn't great were the electrical outlets were very old and our plug-ins wouldn't stay in the outlet. Also, there were no pot holders.
