The picture and website for the Baltic hotel show this beautiful view of the Brooklyn bridge. We did not have that. The view was of a roof with garbage on it. Website had tons of places to do, eat, and shop…yeah, they were 30+ minutes walk away. Not ideal when you’re traveling with a child. The room was clean, but there was absolutely no lock on the door (both broken). I felt very unsafe, especially being alone with my child and other guests on our floor were screaming and partying at all hours, despite the supposed “quiet ordinance” you had to initial and agree to upon check-in. No amenities within the hotel, other than stale water (with no cups to drink it) and a moldy ice machine. There were 2 very small tables (no more than 8 inches in diameter) and one shelf for all of your bags and belongings. Would not stay here again.

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The first room had missing tiles in the bathroom and the window was wide open . The second room was slightly better there was a fridge and microwave but in both room the sink is outside the bathroom. The neighborhood is sketch and there’s a very sketchy guy who watches the hotel from across the street. He was out there for hours
