Coming from Colorado, this was the perfect two night trip with fishing, lightning bugs, bull fronts and turtles. The place was perfect for three of us!

Loved it! Clean, beautiful area, good weather, not crowded..

Lovely place for two couples to stay in anticipation of a local family wedding. Much better than a hotel. We brought our canoe, kept it tied up at the dock, and enjoyed paddling around looking at the beautiful homes in the area. The home was well stocked with supplies, decorated nicely, and was quite comfortable.

Great location for 3 guys fishing, especially using kayaks and able to stay in Trotter Cove and catch plenty of fish. Needs a fish cleaning place outdoors with water access. Peaceful setting. Listing for sleeping 6 is accurate, but there are only two beds and a pullout sofa…hard sleeping for an old man. Had details been provided in listing, not sure I would have chosen this property. Outdoor deck furniture in bad need of pressure washing or cleaning. In all prior stays there has been a welcome book with local info, TV and WiFi info and checkout procedures, etc. Suggest owner create one so we leave the property as desired on checkout.

Second time staying here. This time fishing. 2 minutes from a boat launch and close to town. House is older but has some remodeling done. Clean and comfortable beds, Priced right. would stay again

The house needs a good deep cleaning. I was not aware the owners lived next door but was aware both had the same driveway. My grandson enjoyed the fishing even though the water was not that deep. The grill needs updating as well.

We needed a place to stay while we were on a fishing trip at Weiss lake. This house was everything we needed. It was located on the lake with a pier to dock your boat. It had a great view of the lake and was close to a boat ramp. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our time here, it was very very cold for fishing ,but everything else was great! Nice location to travel within 25miles to Fort Payne , Little River Canyon, De Soto state park etc. & to see local area!

Not bad , good price. Was just what we needed for a few nights while motorcycling in the area. Older house with updating and very comfortable beds , We were gone most of the time so not much to say about it

Nothing fancy. Older home that was remodeled and up to date. It suited our need of a shower and sleep. Would stay again if need arises.

we loved the stay, the house was clean and well stocked.We were disappointed that there was no internet because it was one of the amenities that was listed. My Granddaughter brought her laptop to work on some upcoming exams that were upcoming but there was no internet.We remembered that we could use her phone as a hotspot so she was able to complete it, so all turned out well. We caught some fish and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We will definitely be returning.

The property was clean and neat. Big beautiful trees and a nice dock. We were only there overnight. Wish we would have brought our fishing poles.

We enjoyed our stay. The property and house are lovely. The owner responded in a timely manner to all our questions. Owners are doing some improvements. There is a nice walkway down to the new dock and some added covered areas n the house that where great. Having a washer and dryer in the house was also great so that we didn't have to travel home with dirty laundry.. We will definitely be staying again on future trips up!

Love this cute little place!! Perfect for a peaceful relaxing weekend getaway for two. Great lake access! It had everything we could want.

Quiet stay. Sunrise on the dock. Loved the recliner and sofa.

Check in process was very easy house was clean except for one of the beds. There was brown stains on the pillow case and female hair in the bed.

Property was better than expected! Very clean, easy to access, well furnished, and attractive, this was a pleasant surprise.

The parking was really good. We had two boats and trucks. The house was very close to a boat ramp. The house was nicely remodeled with very comfortable beds.

Place was quiet and peaceful Needed electrical outlets updated couldn’t plug laptop in do to no ground prongs on Receptacles, otherwise place was nice! Owners had great communication!

Nice quiet location, the weather didn't cooperate, but we had a good time.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home is very convenient to get to, has plenty of parking and the beds are fabulous. The home is well stocked and supplied. It is also near grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants. We want to come back for another stay! Thank you!
