This lake house was everything we could haven’t wanted and more. Felt like I was walking into a Pottery Barn catalogue. We are a family of 6, 4 adult children. Plenty of room for everyone, beds were all comfortable. Living room was great to hang out in at end of the day. Loved the location! Right across from dock access. We brought our own kayaks and it worked out great. There is a private beach 5 minute walk to left, through the woods, very nice. We did enjoy going down the road to Lily State Park that had an even nicer sandy beach with beautiful views. Loved the screened-in wrap around porch for morning coffee. The grill worked great. Nice to have the washer and dryer in the basement too. Don’t miss out on going to the dock to view the breath taking sunsets. Just about 15 mins from town restaurants, shops and grocery store. Will be back!

We had a wonderful time. Pam was so helpful and easily accessible. The cabin is lovely and decorated charmingly. We had a very unusually hot week for Maine (high 80-90's). Thankfully there were three fans which helped cool the cabin down. It is an easy short walk to the lake and we enjoyed cocktails out on the dock watching the sunset. My parents have been coming to Moosehead Lake for over 50 years and this was a truly lovely time. We will definitely be back. Thank you Pam!

We had a very nice stay at this lodge style home on Moosehead. The lake is visible from the house and easy to access. It’s also close enough to town and shopping to be convenient. The pictures are accurate; the home is well decorated and comfortable. We found everything we needed in the kitchen.
Cons:
The grill doesn’t function very well and is prob on its last legs.
The heating system is not ideal, as it’s locked and must be controlled remotely by the owner, who also turned it down once without asking us. She’s very nice, and I realize she’s had some issues in the past with people turning up the temp to rather high levels, but I think taking away complete control is not ideal for good customer service. I am a VRBO host (premiere and 5 star property) and feel that if people pay to rent, it’s within their right to choose a temperature, according to their wants and needs, unless they somehow might cause damage to the hvac system. If a guest wants warm temps, a good host needs to just eat the expense as part of being in the hospitality business. For the time they’ve rented, it’s their house, and choosing a temperature without asking permission is kind of a right. Just my two cents as a vrbo host and frequent renter.

We booked a stay for mothers-in-law and spouse over the holiday weekend and found the perfect location. The house is stylish and comfortable, and we had plenty of room for our group of 4 adults. The bedrooms had nice bedding with plenty of pillows and blankets, and there were fans for the one warm night that we stayed. The kitchen was very well-appointed, more so than any VRBO I'd stayed in previously. There was sufficient cleaning products, TP, and Paper Towels. The kitchen had sugar, S&P and seasonings that made it so easy to cook our meals. The furnishings were plentiful for us to make ourselves comfortable.
The lake is across the road, but a 1 minute walk to the community pier was a daily delight to watch the sun go down over Moosehead Lake. This was a special moment, made more comfortable with some bug repellant for that time of evening.
We would be very happy to stay in this lovely spot in the future.

This is a wonderful house, nicely decorated and exceptionally clean so we felt right at home. The house has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Single bathroom was a bit tight with 8 people but the outdoor shower was a fun game changer. The house itself is roomy enough to hang out with the entire party on rainy days or at night, but also provides spaces to retreat to if needed. Even though it's not directly on the lake, it's so close that we hardly noticed. We were in/on the lake or hiking around it the entire week. Amazing Moosehead Lake experience!

Rented this property for a snowmobiling and ice fishing trip. We had 8 people (2 families, including 4 teenagers) and had plenty of room for everyone. This property is close to snowmobile trails and the lake for ice fishing. Very clean, had everything you need and the owner was very responsive. Will definitely be renting here again!

Honestly, I expect a clean place, organized place with some amenities.
What made the trip such a memorable one was the communication with the owner prior to arrival.
She went above and beyond to ensure the say was a great one!
She made the difference-VRBO is lucky she lists her property with them and not a competitor!

This property is exactly as described. The photos do not do it justice. Pamela, the owner, is excellent at communicating, available and friendly. She is also super organized and responsible. The house was immaculate and the lake access ideal. Neighborhood was quiet, which we loved. Looking forward to next year already!

Heaven lakeside
What a wonderful rental! Pam was a fantastic host. Everything we could need was provided. Super clean. Kitchen had lots of utensils, pots, pans, silverware, plates etc. We ate in for most of our stay with no issues. The lake and dock are just across the way via a short walkway (1 minute walk). You can see the lake from the cabin's many windows and wrap around screened porch. A private beach is a 5 minute walk from the dock and is equipped with lawn games and a floating dock you can swim to. Great hikes in every direction for when you want a non-water activity. We rented ATVs in town and had a fun day out in the wild. Nights were relaxing with cool breezes coming in through the windows as we settled in for some family TV time. We were able to hook up our streaming services easily. Neighbors were warm and friendly. Town with some shops, grocery store and restaurants 15 minute drive south. One bad thing--- we had to leave. Thanks Pam!

A Beautiful Home and a Relaxing Stay
The Beaver Cove house is wonderful! It is tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. While this trip was an adults only trip - we will definitely return with our children. The house has everything you need for a memorable and pleasant vacation - a great kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and beds, an outside fire pit, screened wrap around porch, and an outdoor shower. It is truly a gem!

Nice spot
House is clean, has 6 beds and is on Moosehead in a development. Manager is responsive, the sink was clogged when we arrived and they had it fixed by the time we got back in the evening.

nice place. just didn't like the driveway was a sheet and was cold in side
The overall stay was very pleasant and relaxing. The two down falls were that the driveway was a sheet of ice and we had a few falls as a result. The temp inside was 59 degrees when we arrived and it took a while for it to warm up. over all we had a great time and the house is very nice inside.

Family fun
We had a great time, the place was very nice, a little tight on parking if you have a trailer but definitely manageable. I would recommend to anyone. Also it’s not far from ITS trails and B52 memorial.

Awesome spot for winter activities!
Our group stayed here for a weekend of ice fishing and snowmobiling. Perfect spot for both with super easy access to the lake and the trails! The cabin was spacious, clean, well kept, updated, included everything we needed from linens and towels to cookware. There are plenty of beds for all of the guests, as well as seating in the open kitchen/living room for entertaining at night. The basement entry is perfect for thawing out your winter gear after a snowy day outside without making a mess of the house, which was great. Parking in the driveway was a tad tight with all of our trucks and trailers, but we made it work. Our host, Pamela, was extremely helpful and responsive, and also knowledgeable about the local trails in order to get to the main trail system. Overall our stay was great and we would definitely recommend staying here if you're planning on snowmobiling and fishing moosehead!

Magical Moosehead Lake
Very clean and recently renovated lake house with the attention to detail of an interior designer. Great quiet peaceful area with friendly people. Nice downtown area for people that like the shops and restaurants. Lots of hiking trails, gravel roads, and a beautiful lake for people that like to run, bike, hike, kayak, swim, moose watch, leaf peep etc. We had a very full yet relaxing week and came back home refreshed and reenergized.

Very attractive and well equipped house
Our group of 6 adult family members, 3 couples, unanimously gave the property a rating of 5. The location is great -- convenient to Greenville as well as Lily Bay State Park. It's in a quiet neighborhood with close and easy access to the lake and dock. We brought kayaks and felt comfortable leaving them at the lake front. There is a nice sandy beach a short walk away. The house was very clean, well organized, with a new and well equipped kitchen. There's a grill, fire pit and picnic table outside and a lovely screened in front porch where we read and worked on computers. The house is beautifully decorated with attention to detail and the bathrooms are very attractive with lots of fluffy towels. Pamela was very responsive when we had questions. The only inconveniences were one shower for the group which wasn't difficult to work around and the basement bunk room was chilly, but we didn't need to use it much. We recommend this rental and we will definitely rent it again when we return to Moosehead Lake. Thanks, Pamela!

Fun by the lake
We very much enjoyed our time at Pamela's place by Moosehead. It is very comfortable and can fit more than you think (we were a party of eight). The lake is right across the way, private beach 5 min walk. She was very response before and while we were there - great host. Thank you!

Peaceful comfortable house close to the lake
This property was a very clean and well taken care of property. It was a comfortable and fun location to stay. Everything was in good working order.
We had no complaints. However, if there was one thing I would change, it would be to either get a new sink in the main bathroom, or a fixture that doesn’t allow the water to spill out of the sink on to the counter. This is a very minor issue, because the house was excellent in all other aspects. Thank you for letting us stay there.
