Everything was excellent, the owner was really friendly and helpful, gave us a tour of the appartment and gave us advice on where to go, what to do, where is the best place to eat, etc. The appartment was spacious, the beds were comfortable, lots of shops and snack bars close by.

Great apartment! Vesna was a brilliant host, kindness and helpful. Great pool area and clean. The garden with turtles was so cute! We would surely visit Villa Vanilla again if we travel to Zadar once again 😀

WiFi in the room wasn't the best connection.

a very comfortable apartment with all facilities required for cooking. the space was very comfortable and we were able to do our washing. pool area was lovely when the sun came out. Also, there is a cute little tortoise garden! Our host Vesna, was warm and friendly, provided lots of helpful information and made us feel very welcome. After we told her about our difficulties with taxis she gave us useful info about alternative routes we could take, great!

It was slightly difficult to get an Uber/Bolt to pick us up at busy times. Not the property owner’s fault though!

The apartment had everything we needed for our stay.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom on the top floor. Bedrooms were very spacious, excellent living room and kitchen space combined with a beautiful balcony. Accessibility to a nice pool and easy parking make this a great option.

We heard the owners kids occasionally throughout the night. While not a huge deal it's something to keep in mind. The bedding for the master bed was two smaller sheets that didn't fit perfectly.

Excellent location, 10 mins from the beach, 25 mins walk to Zadar's old town which has numerous restaurants, shops and bars. 2 mins from a supermarket. 5 mins from an excellent restaurant. Villa vanilla was clean and comfortable. Hostess was extremely helpful and friendly and made our stay welcoming and comfortable.

We enjoyed having a small apartment on the outskirts of the city which was convenient from which to make day trips out to nearby national parks. We also LOVED the little colony of tortoises that live on the property.

The area was quite noisy with parties, presumably making up for the fact that there's very little else to do in the area. It's definitely the cheaper end of town, popular with young people out for a hot, poolside holiday. Our apartment was relatively basic and not especially modern. The shower didn't have a functioning holder for the showerhead and the beds were quite firm, and the airconditioning was only in the main living/kitchen area, but we would have preferred to have it in the bedroom!

We liked the proximity to old town, it was nice that there was parking and a pool.

The shower was in need of a new sprayer head! It was awful. The water kettle didn't work, and the coffee maker took way to long to brew a pot of coffee.

Really clean Villa with very friendly staff. Good location and a lovely area to stay in.

Wifi was very intermittent / not working at all, but spent little time inside to use it anyway.

Good parking at rear, clean,lovely pool. Honest host...I paid to much tax and she found me and gave extra back.

Restaurant recommendation wasn`t a good choice. Would give the Eden restaurant a miss :(

A little far out from the Old Town if you didn’t like walking. It would be easier if there could have been a bell on reception, to alert staff when we were there (only at busy times)

The apartment was quite spacious, and in a good location. The host was quite nice.

We asked for an iron but there wasn‘t one. The hot water was not working so we had to take cold showers. The bed had old covers on, and there was no quilt on the comforters.

Host was delightful, property immaculately clean. Really cosy friendly atmosphere. Easy to get to old town either by walking or Uber. Felt very safe and just really lovely place. Pool was great. Vesna lent us towels for sun loungers etc. she and the property and the country itself were faultless

Not only is the location great, but also the service. The lady who checked us in was extremely kind and did her best to make our stay unique. The communication with her was great both in English and German. We would surely visit Vila Vanilla again, if we come back to Zadar one day.

Wi-fi was really bad at nightime, from time to time neighbors were very loud.

The owner is a very kind person. She is smiling and has a cordial attitude towards guests. It was a pleasure to be there.
