This was my second time staying at this properly. Mike is a great host, with good communication. You cannot beat the location. The private beach is a great spot for seaglassing!

This is our second visit to Mikes' beachfront cottage and we have nothing but great things to say. If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax while taking in the views of the harbor, this is the place for you. All modern amenities are available at your disposal. The bath towels are plush, thick, and high quality. The bed is comfortable, the bedding is soft, and the pillows will have you dreaming in no time. We rented a jeep during our stay and loved the ease of coming and going with our own parking spot. We didn't cook at all because there are so many great restaurants to explore on the island including the one directly next door, The Black Dog Tavern. I highly recommend a stay at this cottage.

I had the pleasure of staying at this property for a few days around Memorial Day. Mike was a wonderful host who welcomed us to the property and checked on me regularly throughout my visit. I had a friend join me for the first night. The pull out couch was easy to use and was perfect for a short stay. The bed in the Master was super comfortable with nice bedding. Extra throws are provided for cooler days and nights. There were plenty of extra linens as well. The shower…AMAZING!! The decor is so thoughtfully done. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans if you would like to cook. The two decks were perfect for chatting and watching sunrises and sunsets and throws allow for enjoyment when temps fall. The property is a short walk to the grocery store, the VH ferry terminal and Main St. The Black Dog Tavern is a walk across the road. You do hear the ferry horn. Bring ear plugs if you are late morning or afternoon nap light sleeper. There is some foot traffic around the path along the side and back of the house from people taking photos or walking their dogs but in late May, it was light. Small sacrifices for the amazing water views!! Thank you so much, Mike. I hope to be back again next soon!

The house was amazing, and just as described and shown in pictures. It is a 3 minute walk from the ferry - great to do a car-less trip to Martha's Vineyard - rent bicycles and/or use the bus system. We would certainly stay here again.

We wanted to go to Martha's Vineyard for a long weekend, and this property was perfect. It's within sight of the ferry terminal; it's across the street from The Black Dog, which was a convenient place to grab breakfast sandwiches from before heading out for the day; it's a short walk to Stop & Shop, which was great to get a few groceries from; it's easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Vineyard Haven. The house was AMAZING. It had a private parking space (we brought our car on the ferry, so having a reliable place to park was great); the house was beautifully renovated with absolutely everything we could have needed from sitting spaces, to the kitchen, to an eating space, etc, etc, etc. Both of the decks were great to sit on and watch the ferries come and go. Having the washer and dryer right off the bedroom was handy. The shower was awesome. The entire house was just the right size for us - not too big but also not too small. Before we booked this, we were considering a hotel, but we are SO thankful that we didn't do that, and instead stayed here. It is seriously the best place we could have stayed, and we will absolutely be back.

This little cottage, located on the water in the center of Vineyard Haven is a hidden gem. The house has been thoughtfully renovated, tastefully decorated and is equipped with everything you would find in a 5-star hotel. Mike is an awesome host, the views are incredible - we will be back! We enjoyed our stay here immensely. Every detail is well planned & executed- this is a very comfortable home, beautifully decorated, and very clean. Restaurants, shops and the grocery store are a short walk away. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook in. The two decks, upper and lower, overlook the harbor and are wonderful places to sit with morning coffee, an evening cocktail, or a good book. The bed and shower are excellent. Mike, the owner, is very responsive, cordial, professional and has created a truly wonderful escape.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely property the week of Labor Day. It's a very quick walk from the ferry, and super easy to rent a car nearby. The house is beautiful, clean, has everything you need, and two wonderful decks to enjoy the awesome water views. The bed and shower are fantastic, as is everything else about the place! Mike, the owner, is great and totally available when you need anything. It's a great location base for a Martha's Vineyard vacation - we can't wait to come back!!

Modern, up to date and well decorated. Great bed and bedding. water access in the front yard. kayaks were a nice touch and a fun way to see the area. Coffee on the deck in the morning was a magical way to start the day. Mike was great! responsive and very helpful.

Martha's Vineyard has been on my bucket list forever. I retired in June, and this was where I wanted to go with hubby traveling from HOT Florida. We stayed for 1 week. The home is PERFECT, and fancy too! All the comforts of home and more. The lower and upper decks are to die for. We had a car and the parking was HUGE on site.

The house was truly perfect for us, both extremely tasteful and extremely comfortable. The owner is great. The bed and shower are great. These are nice little touches everywhere you look. The highlight, though, was the fabulous deck where we spent much of our time and enjoyed every minute.

If you're looking for a perfect spot for a relaxing, romantic getaway, within easy walking distance of great coffee, lunch/brunch and all kinds of shops, look no further. It's kind of a cross between a high-end hotel (love the bed/bedding and fancy shower) and casual ocean-view bungalow. Go out onto one of the two back decks to read, and you feel like you're at an interesting beach (harbor view) with the best seat in the house. It is meticulously appointed/decorated and gets magnificent light. Instructions are simple/no-fuss and communication with the attentive owner, Mike, was timely and seamless. Great find!

We had a wonderful time staying here over spring vacation week. This delightful waterfront home is situated conveniently close to the town center, steps away from the dock, with a view of the Black Dog tall ships. Our 9 year old had fun collecting shells on the beach all day and we spend a lot of time Kayaking on the water. Mike let us use his kayak and the life jackets from his storage too. Very responsive and friendly, Mike helped us a lot from the minute we made the reservation. The home itself is pristinely decorated with fantastic water views both on the upper and lower level and was just perfect for a family of three. We will definitely be back soon.

It would be hard to imagine a better experience than the one my wife and I just had at Mike's incredible waterfront home. For starters his communication thru the rental process was fantastic. He was extremely responsive and very detailed with his description of the property including arrival instructions. It only got better from there. His home is very tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. I mean, like stuff you see in home décor magazines. You can't beat the location either, perched out over the harbor with a priceless view overlooking several marinas. We spent most of our time out exploring the island but the time we spent in the house was great. Morning coffee on the rear porch gazing out over the water was a life altering experience, truly relaxing. In fact I could have sat there all day. We ate out for our meals but the kitchen is well set up if you choose to cook in. There are plenty of services within a short 5 minute walk including bars, restaurants, coffee shop, diner, grocery store, car rental and of course the ferry. Only regret is we didn't use the kayak he provides. We'll definitely go back and stay there again and will make sure use the kayak next time. My title says it all..."Simply Incredible"

This house has been recently renovated and it is beautifully designed and appointed with everything you might need. The bed was so Amazing I had to know the brand. Great decks to enjoy coffee or cocktails. Also a perfect spot in town walking distance to everything. I would rent again in a heartbeat.

This Vrbo made our whole trip to Martha’s Vineyard a dream come true. Mike is an exceptional host. He provided us with restaurant recommendations and even accommodated storage for our things prior to check in. The property itself is even better than advertised and is perfect for two people. We loved the outdoor shower and kayak that was provided. We also loved that we could wake up to the sunrise and watch the boats come in from the lofted porch. The decor and linens are picture perfect. Highly recommend this property. You won’t be disappointed.

We travel a lot and this was one of the best properties we have stayed at. Perfect location. Beautifully decorated. The views were exceptional. Everything about it was perfect. The hosts Mike and Sam were so friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about this place. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at this property. My husband walked in and said “well this exceeded my expectations.” The view is beautiful. The house in pristine condition. And the location great to walk to shops and restaurants. Our host was super gracious and checked in with us mid-week. We’d love to go back next summer if we have the chance!

The property is beautiful and was perfect for a family of four (two adults and two young boys). The beach and kayak were such big wins for us and waking up to the boats and ocean everyday was amazing. Mike is such a great host, too!

Great location, close to everything, perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It was just as the pictures show and the location was perfection - we enjoyed lazy mornings on the patios people watching the docks and it was an easy walk to “downtown”. Mike was extremely communicative and accommodating of our needs. 10/10 would stay again.

We loved this charming harbor side cottage! Waking up in the morning to the sound of the ferry with a view of the boats in the harbor was perfect. We enjoyed walking to the shops and restaurants that were literally steps away from the driveway. We visited other parts of the island either on our bikes or by car. Although the cottage is right in town, we were never bothered by noise. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated in a gorgeous nautical theme. Spectacular accommodations and a wonderful trip.

Would definitely recommend this property! The house itself was beautifully maintained and decorated, upstairs bedroom was heavenly with gorgeous light, comfy bed, incredible view. Kids (ages 9 & 11) were happy on the pullout bed downstairs, and also loved the downstairs deck overlooking the Marina. Kitchen was well-stocked (and a grocery store a block away was really convenient). Location was great for a home base but we did end up renting a car (open-top jeep was very fun!, also available a block from the house) for touring the rest of the island which was key. There are so many other towns/spots to check out on the island, and Vineyard Haven was a bit quiet for everyday. But again, a great home base. And really convenient for the ferry! Just a block away from the house. Communication with Mike, the owner, was wonderful. He was helpful about local spots, very clear about the location being right in town (which some people might not love, but we really enjoyed), and was very responsive throughout our stay if we needed anything at all (usually just local advice, recommendations!). Definitely recommend!!

The pictures understate the beauty of the setting and quality/finish of the home—its really that spectacular. Mike was responsive to questions during our stay, and did everything he could to make our experience perfect. This location puts all of Vineyard Haven within a short walking distance—the Stop & Shop supermarket, restaurants, coffee bars, ice cream shops, bakeries, etc. all within a 5 minute walk. We brought in dinner two nights, and the fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed. The linens and towels were brand new and of very high quality, as was everything in the home. The new outdoor furniture made sitting on the decks the perfect setting to watch the boats and ferries transiting from Vineyard Haven. Again, a great home and welcoming host!
