Central location in Stege Badminton set for play in the garden Spacious kitchen

Booked room for 4 persons but only 2 beds were properly made upon arrival. Sheets are only put out on the other 2 beds. Space next to bed is so narrow that the bedside table is placed sideways, so drawer can’t be opened. Mezzanine level with 2 unmade beds was dusty and there was only a net over the roof window, very light, no proper curtain in a bedroom which means waking up very early. The steep ladder up to the mezzanine level moves and has no hand rails. A bad design/too short shower curtain. The bathmat gets soaked and the whole bathroom floor is flooded during a shower and the metal shower grate plug is sharp. There were bloodstains on a bedsheet and a towel. Teaspoon in kitchen drawer had jam on, took another teaspoon it had egg on. A dishwasher would be more hygienic. We washed up before and after we used things! Not the most relaxing experience.

Only marginally better than an hostel, not really value for money in my opinion

The hotel staff was very nice, the cleaning was really good (which is appreciated given the situation in which we live), even the shared kitchen for all the rooms was spotless. It was also only 20 minutes away from the cliffs. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much and would repeat without any doubt!

Some rooms are close to the shared kitchen. It can be pretty noisy.

Simple, basic accommodation but great location for what I wanted.
