Very nice place, good value for money. The hotel has a very friendly staff; the food was amazing! The location was also great, with a very nice view.

For those who don’t like to walk up and down the hills it’s better to have a car, because the hotel is located 25 minutes walk away from the nearest public transport (ferry). There is no elevator in the main building, so be ready to walk three floors up if you get the room upstairs.

Hotel went through renovation / construction and seemed under maintained. Service was not always available. Breakfast was very simple with minimal selection.

We had been warned about some noise during our stay due to rebuilding work. But did not expect the knocking and hammering to start already at 0700 in the morning..........

the location was excellent, even though it is a tiny road leading to the hotel that can be an issue for some.

There was no staff/service at all and only after booking it was clear the restaurant was closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It was clear before booking that construction may cause disturbance during the day (we came only for the Thursday evening/night/breakfast) but without any service/staff/bar/restaurant (except for breakfast) present at all, it should not be allowed to offer rooms at this price point combined with a great lack of information and service.

The hotel is located on the lake and has wonderful view. It is a small family run hotel. It is perfect for guests who like hiking and walking in nature. The road to arrive to the hotel is very narrow and difficult to do it with a big car, like a SUV. Breakfast was very good with homemade and local products.

It is very expensive and has no elevator for the rooms upstairs.

Almost all. Sadly, the construction site and the noise ruined the whole experience.

CONSTRUCTION SITE NOISE FROM 7:30 A.M. to 7:30 P.M. Banging, hammering, far beyond the times I had been warned the noise would have to be accepted: „possible noise emissions until 17:30 on week days“. Not true. As the really noisy construction works continued for another 2 hours after 17:30 and during the dinner, I was told that „the work has to be done“ and that if I don’t like it, I can leave 😂

It was by the lakeside.

the rooms have a strong damp smell which triggered an asthma attack for my daughter and we had to open the windows. then mosquitoes came in.

The most exquisite view of the lake and mountains. Great swimming right at the foot of the hotel and a playground for the kids!

Just be aware that the road leading to Kehristen is narrow, so you should be driving a European-sized car.
