We had an amazing time at OIB, and at this wonderful property! The home is perfectly set up for casual comfort, gathering and game nights, beach amenities (chairs, towels, boogie board) and close proximity to all things beachy! Sand - MiniGolf - CoffeeShop - etc. LOVED THIS PLACE - my family told me it was definitely my kind of place and complimented it the whold time we were there. THANK YOU 3rd Row from the Sun!!!!

Perfect 6 bedroom home with plenty of space!! Don’t let the small outside full you. The house was very big and had plenty of room!!

We chose this property due to the proximity of where our friends were renting the same week. This home was fabulous! Not only were we close to our friends, we were a very short walk to the beach, and a short golf cart ride to the shops and restaurants. The home had everything we needed from linens, to beach towels and chairs, a roomy outdoor shower, and room to spread out. Immaculately decorated, comfy furniture, and double laundry. We will definitely be back!

Great house, clean, good layout for large family vacations, umbrella/chairs/body board/toys already at house, minute walk to the beach, short walk to the stores and restaurants, owners were super helpful and provided us a list of all the events that were happening on the island and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, we would 100% visit again.

The rental listing and reviews are very accurate with this property. It truly is a beautiful and functional beach home. The open floor plan of the second story was great. Very spacious with lots of place to spread out. Downstairs is great for the kids with games and their own little living space. The outdoor living areas are awesome. Screened porch and outdoor covered seating downstairs. The owners truly did make things available that I haven’t seen at other rentals. Beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and beach toys. Games to play outside. The kitchen is fully stocked. We didn’t need anything they didn’t have. SO many great things about this house. I have no regrets renting this house for our beach week. Because I appreciate truly honest reviews there were just a couple things that I wished had been different. The only bedroom with an en suite bathroom is downstairs and isn’t the master (which would have been really nice to have). Also, the owner doesn’t ask their housekeeper to do the towels, it is the responsibility of each guest to wash, dry, fold and put away your towels before checking out. Just something to be aware of if that’s an issue for you. I will say that we had a small housekeeping issue upon our arrival and the owners were extremely responsive and were quick to make the issue right. We had several communications with them and they were wonderful to work with. Lastly I would recommend that you know each guest is also responsible for washing and putting away any dishes that you use before you check out. Because each guest is responsible for doing this and housekeeping doesn’t check behind, we discovered many dishes that were full of water and/or had to be recleaned, etc. It just didn’t give me confidence to use the dishes until we recleaned most of them. Those are truly the only things that kept me from giving a 4 star review versus a full 5. It really is a great house and is perfect for families.

We loved this house! Check in was super easy, we were greeted with a hand written note, the house had every amenity that we could even think of, the beds were comfortable, the location was great and it was decorated perfectly.. The 2 separate living rooms worked really well for us too.. The younger adults stayed downstairs and the rest upstairs. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Our family enjoyed staying at this home during the Thanksgiving holiday. Mrs. Julie was an amazing host that was very responsive and accommodating. The home is accurately advertised. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. We will definitely return.

We couldn’t have been happier with this property for a beach weekend with our small kids. The owner has all kinds of beach stuff available to borrow including chairs, sand toys, an umbrella, body boards, and a beach wagon to get it the super short walk to the beach! House was newly remodeled and is furnished very tastefully. Awesome spaces for gathering both inside and out with a screened deck on top level and a patio space below with seating, grill, and outdoor games. Outdoor shower post beach is a huge plus as well. Owner is very responsive to messages and it her desire to provide a good experience was very apparent. We will definitely be back!

Our family had a wonderful time on our vacation. The house was very clean and equipped. We have a disabled family member in our family and Mrs Cook worked with us to be able to have a medical bed in one of the rooms- so great full!! We were also celebrating my parents 50th anniversary, Mrs. Cook remembered this and left roses and a card. How many hosts would do all this for your family! Everything was perfect!!

The rental house was perfect, very clean and had a nice lay out for guests. The younger crew hung out in the downstairs “lounge” and us older folks were upstairs. I would definitely recommend this property for a large family or group.

We stayed for one week to enjoy our nieces wedding on OIB. We had 8 adults and a baby and the place suited us very well. The beach is a short, easy walk. It is also a short walk to a coffee shop, ice cream shop, restaurant, and the town center park. The house is stocked with practically everything you need to enjoy the beach (chairs, umbrella, wagon, etc). An outdoor shower w hot water was very nice. The front porch was great for morning coffee and the back screened porch was nice too! The kitchen was suitable for breakfast and lunch but we did not tackle any large dinners there. Instead we ordered from Feast and heated the pre-made meals in the oven for excellent dinners without the planning, shopping, and cooking. Great place to stay at a great NC beach!

Super short walk to the beach, honestly we didn't even need the golf cart we rented to get to the beach. We did take the golf cart to dinner. Great breakfast (causeway) and dinner spots super close though. House is super cute too! Love the lounge area downstairs also, partied down there and kept the upstairs quiet and clean, haha. Highly recommend!
