Great location

The property is close to beach walking distance about a block, half a mile from the pier and general store. Comfortable nook We felt safe even left car unlocked nothing was touched ,Queen bed was firm king bed was ok definitely different. Carpet was stained but didnt smell was fairly clean no bugs anywhere was a plus. The underneath of house where things where stored could have been more clean and organized. Kitchen fully equipped only thing i didnt see was a airfryer And crockpot or a mixer but had everything else lots of dishes from ceramic to plastic. Bathroom where big and lots of towels and wash clothes. Only one trash bag for 5 days . I usually take my own trash bags, paper towels and toliet paper anyways . Nice commercial washer and dryer. I took my own detergent. Overall Comfortable place nothing fancy or brand new but served its purpose.

We were disappointed in this property. While it’s a quick walk to the beach and the back deck and dock allowed for nice outdoor time at the house, I have to say that the whole interior is long overdue for an update. When we arrived the living room drapes were falling off their railing and the cords were draped willy-nilly. It looked like a total mess. The master bed was lumpy. The living room sofas were long past their prime and not at all comfortable. The kitchen was generally well-appointed but neither of the two toasters worked properly. The freezer seemed to be leaking water into the fridge. The TV remote didn’t work properly (couldn’t turn up the volume), only one trash bag was provided for a three-day stay, the master bedroom lamp was burned out. You get the picture.

Overall our stay was nice. Great location and close beach. The house had clean towels and linens. The floor was dirty, and shower nozzle looked as if it hadn't been cleaned. Quiet area if looking to rest.

Loved the dock out back for fishing and the short walk to the beach (just down the street) House was comfortable and kitchen well stocked. We noted some maintenance needs but nothing terrible. Felt very much at home. Beds were comfortable. Nice to be able to travel with our toy poodle! Vacasa was extremely helpful and accomadating. Would definitely stay again and have recommended to family members!

Place was great. In a great location. So quiet. Loved the dock on the canal. Perfect walk to the beach and good distance from other beach areas.

Nice area and neighborhood. The house is in need of repairs due to water damage that is evident. Walls with damage was painted over. We were unable to close the storm door because the digital lock on the wood door kept the storm door from latching. When the wind blows the storm door bangs against the porch. The front porch was not stable and wobbles when you climb the steps.

Close to the beach, clean and on canal

First when I walked in, it smelled and looked clean. The kitchen was great for cooking and had everything we needed. It was perfect for our group of 6, and our dog. The yard and Dock were a hit. My son and his grandfather spent a lot of time together fishing out there.

The dock was everything I had imagined it would be. The tandem kayaks stayed parked there when we were not paddling around and the teenagers enjoyed fishing from the dock every single day. The beach is a short walk, the two outside showers were a blessing. We loved the picnic table on the deck, we ate lunches and dinners there. The house has games and books, we had brought our own but also checked out Clue once. We loved the garage to keep the bikes, helmets, paddles and vests safe and dry. It's a beautiful place.

Very clean property, close beach access

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! Everyone agreed that the house was very cozy and fit our family well. Sitting on the back porch overlooking the water in the morning was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed a little fishing off the dock and there were even some ride on toys and beach toys my grandson enjoyed. We loved the seating area on the lower level with the swing and chair hammock. There were a couple of issues but the property managers were quick to fix them. The only thing not immediately fixable was the mattress in the master bedroom (way past its prime) . We ended up switching rooms with my son and his wife since they enjoy a softer mattress so it all worked out! We would definitely rent this house again! And did I mention the short walk to the beach!

Great time was had by all. So close to the beach. First time to Holden. We’ll definitely go back.

Clean and beautiful location. The mattresses were a little uncomfortable but for a short stay we were pleased with the house.

Overall - very nice. Clean and fully stocked with everything you need.

Neighbor hood was nice, Short walk to beach which was not crowded. Clean house, has a dock for boat and table and chairs for a nice day on the dock. Not many steps up the living quarters. This is what a beach house is to be like!!!!! Enjoyed Big kitchen and table for family to enjoy dinning!!!

The house was spacious and clean. We loved the outdoor shower and using the garage. The kitchen was nice which we use a lot. Public access is only a block away so we walked to the beach everyday! The pier is a bit far..you would want to drive. Our only complaint about the house is the front door does not close properly.

The kitchen was well-supplied with pots, pans, silverware and dishes. The beds were comfortable.

This was a nice comfortable home with all we needed for the stay.

We loved the location of the rental. We were close to the pier where there was ample parking for beach access. The dock was lovely....neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The house was nice with plenty of room for our party which was five adults and two children. The kitchen was well stocked. Our only complaint was that we were expecting to check in at 4, but the cleaning company was still there until after 5, and the unit was still unclean. The bathroom still had the previous renters wash clothes in the shower, there was hair in the tub, food under the living room table, food on the outside deck, and a spoiled baby bottle on the patio. We had to go into the garage to search for trash bags, and there were only two rolls of toilet paper to be found in the entire house. There were smeared handprints all over the glass doors. In regard to the beach, this was our first time visiting Holden and we absolutely loved it. It was clean and quaint. We recommend eating at The Cove. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. We also tried the Dock House, which was close to the rental. This would probably be a good place to go for drinks, but the food was mediocre. Overall, we recommend visiting, just wish our rental would have been ready on time and most importantly, we wish it would have been CLEAN.
