We loved this quiet, cozy place! It was very clean and comfortable. Great communication with owner, and we would def stay here again.

Our stay at the Quiet Retreat is just what we needed. We had a small travel issue and Donna was very accommodating. The house is amazing, the views incredible, the weather outstanding and the house stocked with all nice linens, kitchen items, washer/dryer, everything. The only thing I would add is a fence for my dog and we might just have to stay for 6 months. :0) Thank you again for a lovely visit and being so accommodating! This home was just perfect for us! I loved the ranch floor plan and the decor was ideal for a mountain house ! We had everything we needed in the kitchen to pull off our Thanksgiving dinner. It’s nice to be in a gated community and it was so quiet.

This place was so wonderful. It had everything we needed, almost like home. We enjoyed watching the wildlife every morning and evening. It was great being in the quiet of nature. My soul needed this re-set. It was conveniently located to every thing we wanted to do. We loved hiking to the waterfalls nearby, enjoyed several vineyards/wineries and the wonderful little towns and the local people. It was the perfect trip for us. Only negative was the pillows, they need to be upgraded and have options. We usually bring our own but forgot this time. Will definitely consider booking again when visiting this area. C in Florida

The cabin was in a beautiful wooded and hilly area, about a 25 minute drive from Blairsville. Blairsville is a small touristy town, with a few good restaurants and a wonderful large grocery store. The cabin is clean, the furniture in excellent shape, and the setting peaceful and calm. Our host called us the day we were arriving to tell us the internet was not working, but would be fixed within the next day or two. We did not have internet (or access to TV) for 5 of the 7 days we were there. Communications about this were daily, and sometimes tense. It was finally resolved. The dishwasher also stopped working while we were there, but with a call was fixed the next day. It would be nice if the cookware and pillows would be upgraded. However, if it weren't for the internet problem, we would have had a lovely stay.

This is the fourth time staying at this house. We love the privacy and quiet. We had two different deer herds this year, and the morning we left they were all across the street to say goodbye. God willing we.will be back next year.

This beautiful home in such a serene setting was the perfect place to return to each day. Our days were filled with exploring the surrounding towns, where we were welcomed by the friendliest people. This home was so comfortable and felt like home, as soon as we arrived. One of the cleanest home that we have stayed in, which is also very important to us. Our host Donna responded quickly to messages and was so helpful suggesting activities in the area. Would definitely consider staying again.

Most places had a 30+ min wait time...well worth it, but plan accordingly. We thought the cabin was closer to Blairsville...but it is a 15 min drive west from town. We were attending a wedding east of town, so it made for extra driving. With the great mountain views, we really didn't mind ; ) Thanks for the charming cabin and a relaxing stay! Highly recommended!

This unique quiet cabin was just what we needed to help us to rest and recharge. The cabin was immaculate, and very tastefully furnished. Everything was comfortable and inviting and made us feel at home. We lived on the back, screened in porch and had most of our meals out there as we watched the deer come and go. Donna, the host, was extremely accommodating and kind. She responded immediately to any questions we had. The community is gated and is just beautiful. We plan to return and thank you for everything!

We have stayed in this Home 3 times now! Plenty of dishes and cookware. We love the subdivision and the deer & foxes! The property manager is great, answers questions and is thorough.

House was very clean and looked just like the pictures. It was our second time staying at house. One day had 17 deer at one time and then another day had 6 turkeys and 5 deer at same time. Loved the screen porch and gas fire pit.

Home is beautifully furnished. Very clean and serene. A little off the beaten path but worked perfectly for us. Our son came in from Nashville and we enjoyed touring Blairesville.

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. It was nice and clean. We were provided very basic necessities but it would’ve been nice to have a couple of little things that were missing such as dish soap and dish rags and something to store left over food in. It wasn’t a big deal, I’m just saying those things would be nice additions. We saw plenty of deer and it was really quiet. We loved the back porch! The nearest town is a good 20 minute drive so keep that in mind while planning.

The property was beautiful and so clean. we loved sitting on the screened porch. it was so peaceful. There was two things I think that could improve. need step stool available to get in bed if you are short like me and my husband. It was a struggle getting into bed. I contacted the property manager about not being able to get firepit to light. she just told me they had not had any problem with it.She gave me no solution. my husband realized that the tank was empty. He switch the tank from grill and it worked.

Our experience at this property was spectacular! It was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortably furnished. We had everything we needed for a week-long family get away…prepared many meals in the well stocked kitchen. The screened porch was so peaceful, and I know many of the reviews mention the deer, but they really were a sight to behold! We walked the neighborhood daily, and occasionally passed a neighbor or two…everyone was very friendly. The main area of the cabin was large enough for our group to congregate without feeling on top of each other, but still spend time together. We had a couple of rainy days and enjoyed playing board games and watching movies, and sitting by the fire. On sunny days we visited Vogel State Park and Odom Springs Winery. All in all, I just can’t imagine a more perfect week! This property is everything it claims and more. We hope to return soon and often. Thank you Donna, for sharing your lovely cabin!

Definitely one of the nicest places we have stayed through VRBO. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
