Property was great and met all of our family needs. Pet friendly, which is so hard to find in a beach front home. Access to the beach was great and the elevator was a life saver for the senior members of our family. We will forever "Hold-On" to the memories we made at Holden Beach.

Very nice home with beautiful views!

Hold-On-Beach is a lovely property sitting ia a perfect location! We stayed for 4 nights for my birthday weekend. It had everything my husband and I, and our fur-baby needed. They even put out dog bowls for him! You cannot beat the sweeping views of the beach, sunrises and sunsets! I loved enjoying coffee on all the decks and enjoying the heavenly views. I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the landscape which was covered in sandburs. Sadly, our puppy’s first steps onto the property landed him in a yard covered in these. He suffered miserably. I cannot recommend this property for pets. It is a lovely home otherwise.

We were visiting with our oldest son, daughter in law and grandbabies. This home was perfect for all of us to be together. We were all able to have our own privacy when needed. We had easy access to the beach. The view from both balconies were incredible. The kitchen was well stocked for us. I definitely would recommend this home.

Great stay! As advertised! Short walk to beach! Had an issue with the clothes dryer but they tried to repair it next day, very thankful for their attentiveness!

We had a great week at Holden and enjoyed this house. It was clean and the views and beach access were superb. The elevator was fantastic. My dad has mobility issues and the elevator allowed him to enjoy the week. It was also nice that the house manager, Gina, met us and showed us around upon arrival. I would definitely recommend this home.

Beautiful home with amazing views! House was perfect for our trip with with older parents with some health issues. The elevator was perfect for getting up & down with ease. The house was clean & we had everything we needed to cook meals for all 8 of us. We definitely enjoyed our trip & would absolutely stay again!

Very Clean sizable house. Stayed in the property with a golden retriever and my wife and 2 kids. More than enough rooms for everyone and could easily add a few more people. My family of two girls and wife are very picky about cleanliness and they all gave this place two thumbs up. Amazing views from the two decks and couldn’t really be any closer to the beach, with very convenient access. Elevator was a nice feature for carrying in luggage and groceries. If you are heading to Holden Beach, you couldn’t go wrong with this rental.

We've been coming to Holden for about 20 yrs. and this has been our favorite property. We love the East side, the elevator is a god send for our older dog (and us), and the place is very spacious. It's hard to find nice places with pets on the water, this is the best!

Beautiful property on quiet east end of island. Home is recently renovated and did not disappoint with most household needs provided. Couple of small issues being attended to by wonderful property mgmt staff (broken washer and disposal) but hey, we were on vacation so who wanted to do laundry or cook! Elevator was a God send for older guests and getting dogs in and out without being dragged down stairs. We will be back next year!

Our 7 family members greatly enjoyed our Memorial weekend stay. Top floor kitchen/ living space with outside deck was our favorite gathering spot. Kitchen had good storage and new appliances. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Lots of windows and an additional second floor deck gave every room a view. Private outside hot & cold shower was a plus along with a few portable beach chairs. Beach access was nearby. The elevator (ground floor to top floor only) was essential because of all the stairs. We appreciated the friendly, personal welcome by property manager, and the prompt responses to our questions by property manager and owners.

We were lucky to find this oceanfront cottage literally 3 days before leaving. The cottage is great as is the view. Our only challenge was with some door knobs that need replacing. We ended our stay with 60 mph gusts at 6 am, but the cottage held strong as we watched the storms pass. It was a great way to ring in the new year with our daughter with 70 degree days walking on the beach. Thank you.

With a little elbow grease, this property could be amazing! I realize it is set to be remodeled, but all the baseboards and under all the furniture was filthy. There was dust on all the fans and air vents. The air had a musty smell. The washing machine had mold inside of it. Old construction debris and broken chairs outside could have been thrown out, some screens were hanging loose, outdoor furniture was not wiped down, and the yard was full of spurs and mosquitoes due to the swampy area next door. We had a good time, but our allergies kicked in big time from the dust. Our dogs could not walk around in the yard without getting spurs in their feet. Thank goodness for the elevator for Mom! We fixed a few screens and cleaned the top balcony furniture so we could enjoy the beautiful view. Every meal we had at Holden Beach was delicious!

Overall, we had a wonderful getaway. Close to the beach for ease with little ones. Quiet neighborhood, with laid back atmosphere. Property needs some updating but nothing that isn’t expected with rental property. Definitely would stay again. Property manager was extremely helpful & was available at all times.

We had a great stay at this property. The home is well kept but does display some wear and tear as you would expect for the age of the property. There wasn't anything that was a huge deal - all little things. The views of the ocean from both decks were fabulous! From the driveway, you walk about 4 houses down to the boardwalk over the dunes to access the beach so the walk was super short and the beach was not crowded during our stay. My parents could sit out on the deck and enjoy watching the grandkids play out the beach. The elevator is very useful as it opens right to the kitchen which makes bringing your things in and out very easy. We read, worked puzzles, played games at the table and spent many hours at the beach. We did bring our small dog and that worked out great. We were able to walk him on the beach before 9am and after 5pm. We had a fabulous beach week at this home and lots of wonderful memories were made.

We visited the property March 2021 and were drawn to the property because it looked like a less crowded area of Holden Beach. Our expectations were exceeded and this was the perfect spot for our first get-a-way to coastal Carolina. I can’t recommend this location enough for those wanting privacy and relaxation on Holden Beach. The owner was very hospitable and helped us in planning our visit and even allowed us an early check-in. The house was great with an unobscured view of the beach and just a quick walk over the walkway over the dunes. As a couple staying there, there was plenty of space for us, and the house comfortably can host 8 with plenty of space to spread out. The house was well stocked with beach supplies, grill, food staples and coffee. We cooked 2 of 4 nights and the kitchen had ample space. The 2 decks facing the beach were where we spent a lot of time just taking in the ocean view. There’s an elevator as well! This was very handy as we brought a lot of food and had a full cooler to bring up. We have only been away for a few days, but we are missing this spot already and hope to be back soon!

This was a great place in a quiet area. The view from the top floor was gorgeous. There were 6 of us (4 adults 2 kids) and there was plenty of room to move around. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. We definitely would stay here again.

Enjoyed our short stay at Hold-on Beach. House had plenty of space and was perfectly located. Almost every bedroom had a perfect ocean view. Communication with Irv was great, simple check in and check out. Would stay again.

This house was everything one could hope for. Perfect location, great views of the ocean, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and living area. Irvin was there to answer any and all questions I had. One of the best VRBO experiences we have had. Even though the weather did not cooperate with us during the stay, that just gives us another reason to come back again. Thank you Irvin for the use of your wonderful home. It was truly a great experience.

Hold On beach house is located in a wonderful spot, near the east end of the island. House has terrific views from all sides, with sweeping vistas of the ocean. We were here in the winter and the house was plenty warm. The house itself is a little worn, the beds were so so. The owner Irv is terrific, prompt and very attentive. We would stay here again.
