A warmer duvet would have been nice. A dishcloth would have been useful. Doorstops would have been useful for internal doors. The freezer had not been defrosted. The glassware was poor, only one small drinking tumbler.

Good size rooms. Nice and light. Comfortable beds and furniture. Well equipped kitchen.

Bathroom sink too shallow. No blind at bathroom window. Shower screen not big enough to prevent splashing. Although basically clean it looked like a periodic deep clean is needed.

The location in the best of the apartment. Not far from shopping centers and with a pastry shop next door. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood.

I sincerely believe that we were victims of a hoax. Several months ago we always indicated that we would arrive late at night and the host never gave us any problem. Until several hours before, when we were already on our way, he wrote to us to indicate another arrival time that I NEVER told him. When I tell him again about our arrival time, he tells us that no one can give us the keys and that there is only one possibility but we must pay 75 pounds more (almost 90 euros more just for giving us the keys). Obviously we were forced to pay because the opposite was to stay on the street and because he waited until a few hours before to tell us this. The most serious thing is that there is a box to leave the keys and that no matter how much we have complained to Booking, they have not done anything. The host tells Booking that he charges us those 75 pounds because we arrived after 12 at night (our flight was delayed) but the truth is that he asked us for the money long before he knew the delay of our plane. He told us that after 8 in the evening we had to pay to give us the keys (Booking did not tell him that). In short... be very careful because although we always indicate the approximate arrival time correctly, the host tells you another to try to charge you more and Booking does not help you. Regarding the issue of cleaning, if you do not use the oven, do not sit on the couches or chairs, everything is fine. No jokes... a lot of dirt for the money you pay. Lack of cleanliness. Of course we have made a complaint through the European Union consumer system and we await a response.

comfortable spacious

The place was perfect for me and my son to stay whilst we went to Anfield for the football. Beds really comfy and having the outside space was nice. Bakery next door is lovely and the Indian down the road was great. Only a 10 min walk to the beach and the train station with a 20 minute train to Liverpool.

Nothing, although we didn’t cook there so can’t comment on the oven etc
