Everything about our stay was magical. Everything you see in this beautiful luxurious country home, inside and out, and every detail was done to an exceptional standard. It is evident that our wonderful Kathleen's taste for decor and for comfort are well above average. Watching a magnificent sunset and "listening" to the silence, interrupted only by the sound of birds chirping was a truly memorable experience, one that we will never forget. We sincerely hope we can come back from Australia, to this beautiful place and know we would be greeted as old friends by Kathleen. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Entering the gates is like turning into a fairytale. It is the prettiest pink cottage. The house is just gorgeous. We had read in advance that they no longer offered meals but instead our private kitchenette was stocked for breakfast with gorgeous fancy cheeses, freshly prepared and chopped strawberries and berries (so good!), home made granola, fresh brown bread and more. We had some lovely meals in Oranmore a short drive away and then chilled out in the lounge by the fire. This isn't a hotel or a B&B, its somewhere in between, getting to stay in this lovely home

Beautiful location, very comfortable accommodation and facilities. Friendly and welcoming from arrival until we left. We will definitely be back to this little slice of heaven.

Kathleen checked in with me about our arrival time. It was nice to know that someone was waiting for us :). Our room was just lovely - spacious, well thought out, lovely decor, we had our own kitchenette. It was PERFECT!
Sad that we didn't get a full hot breakfast in the dining room BUT we were provided with many types of bread (for toast), several kinds of granola, several kinds of yogurt, a bottle of juice, milk and plate of fresh fruit. It was WONDERFUL!

such a beautiful property in a lovely location. Really charming and cosy inside and lovely gardens outside.
Could not fault it really …. the breakfast was very good but one of guests would have liked cooked breakfast.

Weir Haven was very clean and comfortable. Our hostess was welcoming, helpful with suggestions and attentive to details. We enjoyed our little kitchen with freshly cut up fruit each morning as well as delicious breads, cheeses, yogurt and cereals. We would definitely stay there again! Mike and Peg

Room was very nice and quiet. Beautiful house and surrounding gardens. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit and berries. Yogurt, granola, speciality breads and juice.

Loved the house, gardens, ambience and the friendly owner Kathleen. The facilities were perfect.
Probably not the owners fault or choice but as stated in small print...because of Covid no hot breakfast would be included....we both felt a little disapointed and would have liked the cooked breakfast experience. Having said that a nice alternative was included but not totally enjoyed by all.

Kathleen is a very friendly elegant host. The house, the garden and the landscape are beautiful .The house is preciously decorated. Good quality sleep.
The water in the shower was insufficient and with little pressure. The continental breakfast was sufficient but poor.

Absolutely lovely experience. The house itself has been well taken care of and makes such a big first impression. Our host was welcoming and always checked in to see how we were doing. The room itself was rustic, airy and was so quiet at nighttime, it was very relaxing. Breakfast is self-serving in your own little galley kitchen and was a wonderful touch. Everything was thought of and it was great not to have to get up super early like in usual hotels and we could go at our own pace. Can't recommend enough if you're looking for a nice little getaway.
Can't think of anything about the property or services offered that we didn't like. It's about 20 minutes outside of Galway so a car is definitely recommended.

From my initial call with Kathleen on the telephone, her genuine friendly caring voice made our journey over to Clarinbridge extremely positive. The welcome on arrival to her most fabulous Old world home was second to none. So impressed by her extremely well prepared list of attractions, etc on our arrival. The breakfast each morning was to look forward to. Full of healthy options. Kathleen's homemade bread was a treat in itself. We never left the table unhappy, in fact we left feeling very healthy. The lovely fire awaiting our return each of the cold evenings was so homily. We had one serious regret, that we could not stay longer. Weir Haven Boutique is set in the most beautiful peaceful gardens. It as more than possible to leave stress, worries and concerns outside the gate.

Kathleen, our host, was most welcoming and helpful regarding taking us through everything we needed to make our stay excellent and it was! The room was superb - comfortable, full of character and with a small kitchen and good sized ensuite, it made our stay both self contained and extremely comfortable - even luxurious. The setting of Weir Haven, was simply stunning, relaxing and should maybe be rightly renamed, "Weir Heaven"! It is entirely away from the hustle and bustle and both my wife and I found it a most relaxing and restorative break. We would go back in a heartbeat and could not recommend "WH" and Kathleen highly enough.
There was nothing we did not like - everything about the stay exceeded our expectations - first class on every level.

We had a fantastic 3-night stay at the gorgeous Weir Haven. Kathleen, the host, was fantastic and always on hand for anything that we needed. The accommodation was beautiful and clean and breakfast was great. The location was idyllic- calm, relaxing and and perfectly placed to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. We will definitely be recommending this accommodation to all!

Beautiful house. Clean and comfortable with good facilities. In great location for exploring locally. Self-service breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt and toast. Kathleen was very responsive to any of our questions.

The house is stunning , beautifully decorated , grounds amazing also and kitchenette available dedicated to us so we could get our own breakfasts with lovely fruit and coffee/tea provided , lovely selection of cheeses . Would go back again

I wouldn't even know where to start ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been to some nice places.. But OMG it's just FABULOUS 👌👌👌 We could have stayed forever... Kathleen was just so lovely and welcoming.. Nothing was a problem...it was like being in a fairytale xxx Thank you so much for a very memorable stay xxx❤️❤️❤️
