Das Apartment gehört zum hübschen Strandrestaurant Meltemi und liegt direkt dahinter im ersten Stock. Der Blick von der großen Terrasse aufs Meer ist toll, man hört die Wellen rauschen. Am Strand kann man die Liegestühle kostenlos benutzen. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es nie voll in der kleinen Bucht, morgens und abends sogar manchmal wie ausgestorben.

Das Apartment liegt direkt über der Restaurantküche, die aber abends recht früh geschlossen wurde. Nachts war leider ein regelmäßig wiederkehrendes Brummen zu hören, das wohl von einer Kühlanlage stammte und in der ansonsten absoluten Stille umso lauter erschien. Zum Einkaufen muss man mit Auto oder Scooter über eine sehr kurvige und steile Straße in den Hauptort fahren.

The views from the apartment are lovely, the sea and the beautiful ancient olive trees. The host family are friendly and their Meltemi taverna makes lovely Greek food, the shrimp linguine and pork souvlaki were our favourites. We found the apartment clean and comfortable for a family of 4. It is very close to the beach for a swim.

The WiFi signal at the apartment wasn't great but you can always sit on the loungers by the beach for a better connection.

Amazing location, right on a lovely beach with good snorkeling and calm waters. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic taverna on site. We will definitely be back.

such friendly hospitable people, immaculately clean apartment, really comfortable beds, furnished beautifully & in the most perfect location. the family run apartment & taverna was absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much trouble & the food, service & and wine in the Meltemi Taverna is superb! Top Tip - try the homemade apple pie, not served anywhere else on the island & is absolutely delicious!

absolutely stunning location, stones throw from the beach and excellent, great quality taverna with friendly family staff who also manage the property. Staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. they were fantastic with our kids too.

Very little to complain about. The mattress in master bedroom could be better, it was a little too soft.

amazing location and great spacious balcony. the apartment was very clean and comfortable and the hosts really made this place special. such a friendly and welcoming family and great food at their restaurant below.

a drying rack may have been useful on the balcony but to be fair, we never asked. if we had, I’m sure they would have sorted this for us!

nice big terrace, close to the sea ie 50m walk and the apartment has a great restaurant connected to it with lovely food and beautiful outlook

Meltemi Apartment is a little piece of paradise. The location of the apartment next to the beach provides you with a feeling that you have your own personal beach, right at your fingertips. The apartment's balcony is amazing. It offers you a beach view where you can peacefully sip coffee in the morning, have a meal, or relax in one of the beach beds in the shade of the balcony. Meltemi Apartment hosts a wonderful family who are also owners of the Meltemi restaurant right in front of the apartment. They are extremely hospitable, always ready to help, provide advice, and go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The beach bay where Meltemi is located - Megalos Mourtias, has only a few apartment houses and two restaurants, which offers guests piece and comfort in the best possible way. We've had a wonderful stay and can't wait to go back.
