We had a wonderful stay. The place was very inviting and cozy, even for 20 teenagers. They loved it. Very clean and had everything we needed.

The Cragsmere Manor was a perfect place for our family holiday gathering. It was very roomy and accommodated our entire family very well.
We really enjoyed the view from the back yard.
The house was decorated extremely well for Christmas. We all enjoyed the ping pong table and corn hole games as well.
The general manager communicated well with me and she was greatly supportive!

We so enjoyed getting to spread out in the beautiful house! Our group included a toddler to grandparents and there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out. Great amenities in the kitchen for cooking Thanksgiving dinner too!

Great location and space for a large party...spacious kitchen and dining table perfect for a large group of foodies..updated bathrooms and pleanty of hot water for that many showering....the deck and veranda were lovely..the view was great.. a wonderful time had by all..access was easy and the site manager was easy to reach and very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Cragesmere was our home base for out of town family during our son’s wedding weekend. It was perfect! Our family loved it! Everything was perfect and the view was Amazing! We can’t wait to stay again!

We stayed here for a week with 5 adults and 2 kids. There was plenty of space to spread out, but also to come together and eat, play games, and work puzzles. The views were amazing and we even sighted a few critters wondering the property. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook eat night and then more…. They had games for the family to play which was nice. Most importantly the property management was quick to respond to any inquiries and make sure our stay was perfect.
Location wise you are about 45-60 minutes outside Chattanooga, but there are several waterfalls, trails, and parks to visit within minutes of the house. We really enjoyed the local activities!
The house was a treat to stay in. It was built shortly after the Civil War and then had additions over the decades. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated. Just watch up when going up the stairs as the ceiling is low at the top.
Overall so glad we stayed there and enjoyed this gem!

This place was wonderful we had 16 people and there was just so much room for everyone to be comfortable! The views I can’t even explain how beautiful they are the pictures don’t do it justice. My sister-in-law had a small wedding and it was perfect! They are wonderful and if you have a problem they respond very quickly. The whole family had a wonderful time! Definitely would rent again to do another family getaway!

We came to this cabin last Christmas and had such a lovely time, I booked it immediately for this year. It did not disappoint. It is decorated beautifully for the holidays. You feel like you're stepping into a Hallmark movie. The fireplace was on and Christmas music playing. So much room in the kitchen and gathering spaces. We have several piano players and enjoyed the piano. The view and the sunsets were amazing. The young adults enjoyed the addition of the fire ring. I really can't say enough good things. We had all 27 family members there. Thank you again for a great experience.

We rented this property with a group of family and dear friends to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. This property is beautiful but it's the view that really steals the show. We were captivated by them the entire weekend. It is a lovely location for a celebration and gathering with friends. Debbie, who was our contact during the stay, was lovely - so friendly and responsive! I do want to note that we had trouble with miscommunication with Chanelle both before and after the stay - with communication before the stay much more friendly than that which happened after the stay. Our initial reservation was for another beautiful Mentone Vacation Rental property. Due to a problem with their calendar, they needed to change our reservation after we had already paid the deposit. In March, when information was sent about this property that they were offering in place of the one originally
reserved, I was very clear that we needed 6 separate bedrooms. Chanelle told me this wouldn't be a problem as they would be completing the media room by the time of our reservation in mid-July. Once it was clarified that this would be a separate sleeping space, we decided this property would work. Only after we arrived at the house for the party in July did we find that the media room had not been completed and one couple would not have a room for the weekend. There was nothing that could be done at that time. We had a lovely weekend - though one that was decidedly problematic when it came time for everyone to sleep. When I attempted to follow up with Chanelle after the weekend regarding some compensation for the fact that we did not have the promised number of bedrooms, she accused our party - which was made up of working and retired professionals (age range 54-83 w/ 3 young adults in their 20's) - of leaving the property in bad shape with solid waste in the toilet and stains on the towels. We were stunned. Most of us own vacation properties and always treat rentals with the same respect we'd treat our own homes. I have had the privilege of staying in beautiful properties across the US and Europe and have never had an experience like this. The property is stunning and most of the people we interacted with regarding the rental were wonderful. I would just give the caveat that if something goes awry during your stay, you may not be able to count on professional and friendly responses from some members of Mentone Vacation Rentals.

Christmas Cabin
Because we experienced a loss of a loved one last Christmas we wanted to make a new memory. This cabin offered us everything we needed. It was the first time in years my whole family was able to be together for Christmas. Ages range from 2 to 90. The seating both in the family room and dining room were perfect. We ate, laughed, talked, played games,sang and ate some more.
My favorite place was the outside pavilion. The view was amazing, very peaceful even with all the kids running around. We have already booked again for next year.
Hopefully we've started a new tradition.
