Everything was just perfect!!! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy this place - very quick, jam packed trip! Host was awesome!

We really enjoyed our time at Hermon Pond. Early morning coffee by the water and kayaking later in the day. Sonya was a great host and the apartment was splendid. You could hear the loons and mallards through the window.

My stay at the pond was perfect , peaceful, access to everything yet a remote feeling. Sonya was lovely and clearly loved her home. i would have liked to know her better. thank you. it was the perfect ending to a month of memorable travel!

We had a delightful stay in this charming, perfectly appointed studio. The location was a good launching point for getting to Baxter State Park as well as Bar Harbor. When we weren’t out and about, we appreciated the total privacy and the gorgeous, peaceful pondside location. We were delighted by the little details left for guests. Sonya is easily the best VRBO host we’ve had yet.

Staying at Hermon Pond at Sonya's place was a wonderful experience. She is very welcoming and considerate. The apartment was perfect for 2 people and the view was spectacular. We will definitely go back to this location when we come to Maine again. It was just like being at home. Sonya had the kitchen supplied with coffee and even a bouquet of flowers on the table. ***************

Perfect example of a true maine experience! The house and yard are beautiful and in a really nice quiet neighborhood. The host gave a warm and lovely hello then we didn’t see anybody again the rest of our stay. Over looks the water inside and out. We are already planning our next trip there. Thanks so much sonya!

The studio apartment was very clean and in a beautiful location overlooking the lake. The beds mattress could have been of higher quality. However this is not enough to turn me away from renting this place again.

Sonja’s place was super clean, really really quiet, and quaint. we could see lots of stars at night in her remote location. She was very helpful in making recommendations of places to see in the area. We had our own private entrance, and the check in/out process was super easy. Great place to stay.

Not sure what more you can ask for in a rental - the studio was clean, cozy, and well equipped, the firepit and views over the pond were phenomenal, the location is great, and Sonya is the kindest host who made the whole process so smooth and effortless.

I think my sitting by the lake in the mornings and evenings recharged my spirits. Loved the quiet and wildlife available to watch and enjoy.Very close to Bangor.

This is a very clean, quaint and well-appointed studio on the shore of a small and very quiet lake. One thing I did not see elsewhere in the comments, is that in addition to being a very picturesque lake, the swimming is excellent.
We enjoyed our stay in every respect, and very much hope to have the opportunity to return.

We are so glad that we found this property! The studio is cozy, quiet, and, peaceful. As a surprise bonus, we could watch the sunset over Hermon Pond right outside. The host was great and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend you did as well.

We loved this property! It was a cute studio, clean, well stocked. It had a nice view of the lake out the kitchen window. I would highly recommend it.

Perfect location for a secluded stay away from the city of Bangor. The check in/out process was one of the easiest I’ve ever experienced. The space was clean and cozy with ample amount of room to spread out. Sonya was a spectacular host and very accommodating for our needs. We didn’t have time to fully enjoy the lake, but it was a beautiful sight waking up to. Would definitely stay again if in the Bangor area.

The studio apartment was just right. Was able to make our breakfasts in the mornings before heading out for the day. Beautiful spot right on the pond. Took advantage of kayaks one afternoon, it was nice to have them available.

It was so relaxing, comfortable, & we definitely would love to return. Beautiful spot to take a kayak out & the canoe so relaxing quiet. Will be back for sure. The host is very kind. Helpful, gives you a lot of information about the area very familiar with the state and what to do in the state of Maine..

This was a nice place for just the two of us.
Nature from the trees and lake outside our window provided an excellent backdrop for our stay. Including Loons calling at night.
Our host was super easy to communicate with and suggested things that we might want to do in the area.
The rental was clean and we'll maintained. Cooking options were slightly limited without an oven.

THE STUDIO WAS AS PROMISED, CLEAN AND VERY COMFORTABLE. WE GOT A GREAT NIGHT'S SLEEP. THE POND WAS BEAUTIFUL AND LOADED WITH FISH; WE CAUGHT MANY AND ATE SOME. THE HOST OFFERED MANY SUGGESTIONS FOR DAY TRIPS. THE AREA HAS OPPORTUNITIES FOR HIKING, FISHING, SHOPPING AND DINING - SOMETHING FOR EVERYBODY. MOST OF ALL THE HOST, SONYA, IS CHARMING AND WE LEFT FEELING WE MADE A FRIEND - A GREAT FRIEND! WE LOVED HER, YOU WILL TOO!

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved kayaking, birdwatching and relaxing by the fire in the evenings.
Hermon Pond is absolutely beautiful and the studio has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It is spacious, well equipped and comes with a lovely view of the lake.

We didn’t get out on the kayaks but we sure saw lots from the shore! The herons, and other birds were just feet away… the view is amazing! The rooms was great too! Cozy!

This is a delightful apartment on a peaceful lake. The owner shared her kayaks, and my husband and I listened to birds and bullfrogs and saw an American Eagle on our early paddle. The neighborhood was in full bloom (mid-June).
The apartment is airy and sunny and feels new (just watch your head when your near the corners!). We were able to park a few feet from the door. The owner is helpful, but doesn’t hover.

Once again our stay on the pond was wonderful. The serenity is good for the soul, perfect surroundings, and comfortable accommodations. So close to everything we enjoy! I know we'll be back!!

This place was so perfect. Adorable with a kitchen and bed and big bathroom on the second floor. Very quiet neighborhood and the view was gorgeous of the pond (a size of a lake). The host Sonya was wonderful and very communicative! Great place to stay in the area also if you happen to be in town for the Stephen king tour, stay here as this place is so close to the tour meeting point and downtown Bangor! Thank you Sonya! Loved it.

My husband and i wanted to visit Maine after we retired. We found the perfect place in Sonja's studio. The location on the lake was so peaceful and beautiful. It is a little over an hour to Acadia National Park. We thought it was a great location for whichever direction we were going. Sonya was a wonderful host and all questions were answered immediately. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in this area.

We had a great long weekend at this property! It was our resting spot while visiting our oldest at her first ever college “parents weekend” at UMO. It was in a great location, quick to campus, restaurants, and local breweries! The scenery was gorgeous, and the rental clean. It was comfortable and inviting. We will definitely keep this in mind for our future trips up to visit!
