This was such a cute little place. Loved the warm and coziness of it. The kitchen was cute also, and had fun with word search in bathroom. Highly recommend!

WE loved our stay at Main Street Suites. The rooms were cozy and homey. We were not aware that they were located on the second floor with some steep stairs to climb.

We had an amazing trip to WV! Location was convenient to everything we explored. Cafe across the street was a wonderful spot for breakfast and coffee! We will be back!

Everything was fine for us, people might have trouble with the stairs, or the tiny space around the toilet. Even though it was on the Street, it was not noisy. Close to all the good stuff. Responsive owners.

Very clean, well-appointed lodging, full kitchen, comfortable living room, comfortable and quiet bedroom. It's obvious that the host cares a lot about the property. Across the street is a wonderful bakery/breakfast/ coffee shop. Great place to access the National Park and Hawk's Nest State Park. Host made everything very easy. My wife and I enjoyed the stay. Also understand it's a 2nd floor apartment, as not everyone can climb stairs with suitcases. Definitely would stay again.

Stay was ok until Sunday around 130 when we returned back to property. As soon as we entered building we could hear loud music and what sounded like a constant door slamming shaking whole building. I contacted management and she reached out to business regarding noise. Amber ( management) relayed to me that the party was almost over and the noise had been turned down, according to SAID BUSINESS That was NOT the case. We packed up and left immediately as we were on vacation to forget about my upcoming dr appts and the stress from those 4 hours was not good for me.
Will not use this property again. Was not even offered compensation. If you stay, avoid Sunday!

When I booked this unit, I did not realize it was a full apartment, with a living room and full kitchen! Everything was spotless and welcoming. I will definitely stay again. Only negative comment is the flight of stairs leading up to unit which may be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. We loved this lication.

This apartment is exactly as pictured, picture perfect, super clean, well stocked. We had so much fun exploring WV, from this area. We went to Ace Adventures water park, so much fun! Chimney Corner Cafe is close by and a great place to eat, and so was Firecreek BBQ and steaks! I wish I had more time to explore this area, would 100% stay in this apartment again!

Hidden Gem
This was a quiet and clean stay in a very small town that was close to everything we wanted to go to. This was a couples’ getaway for us but this would be a great place to stay for a four person family. There was a foldaway bed in the closet that could be utilized for extra sleeping space.

We’re making it tradition to go to a state park each year for my birthday and this year we chose Hawk’s Nest (highly recommend) Amber & Jake’s place was PERFECT for our stay. The stairs are not as bad as I was anticipating after reading the other reviews. The apartment is super cute and had everything we needed and more. My toddler loved the view of Main Street. 10/10 would stay here again.

Apartment is located in Ansted WV. Conveniently located downtown across from Walgreens and Exxon station with Subway Shop. There is a cute new coffee shop across the street called Gran Robbie's. Although the apt had a coffee maker and all the fixings it was nice to walk across and get a coffee there too. The apt was immaculate! Everything you need for your stay including toiletries and such! Highly recommend this rental if you are in the area to visit the state park as well as the National Park!

Perfect for my birthday getaway
We’re making it tradition to go to a state park each year for my birthday and this year we chose Hawk’s Nest (highly recommend) Amber & Jake’s place was PERFECT for our stay. The stairs are not as bad as I was anticipating after reading the other reviews. The apartment is super cute and had everything we needed and more. My toddler loved the view of Main Street. 10/10 would stay here again.

Cozy & Charming
This was a very charming getaway. And, the place was immaculate. Was conveniently located to places we wanted to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed a restaurant nearby called the Vista at Hawks Nest just down the road. Good food & scenery. All-in-all, this was a charming & cozy place that we would come to again.

The apartment was clean and it is stocked with the basic kitchen/dining needs. There are some books for reading. There is even a tv in the bedroom. There is a washer/dryer too. The location was good for us as it is not too far from all the areas we went to in The New River Gorge. Hawkins State Park is right around the corner as well. There is a Walgreens across the street and a Piggly Wiggly down the road for food/snacks. Eating out is limited but that is why we rent places with a kitchen.

Nice downtown apartment
This apartment was furnished very nicely and had lots of homey touches. The only downside is that it’s on the second floor up a fairly steep set of stairs, which was unexpected and a daunting sight after hiking the whole morning and having tired legs! Once we got upstairs to the apartment, though, we found it to be a great home base for our adventures in the area.

Getaway
Me and my significant other came to visit trails and the New River Gorge, this was the greatest little apartment stay!! Right around town and super homey and comfortable!! We will definitely be back!!

Amazing Stay!
I planned a solo trip to visit River George National Park and decided to stay in this cute little apartment! Highly recommend, as a single 25 year old woman I never once felt unsafe while staying here. The parks are absolutely stunning, could not recommend checking out the endless wall trail and visiting Freefolk Brewery for an amazing bite to eat and yummy beers! Overall great stay and I hope to be back in the near future.

Fun, Good Experience
My sister and I stayed 4 night in Ansted. We enjoyed the town and the closest of the National Park. The host responded quickly to the only issues we had on check-in. Really no problem for us after small fix. With the kitchen fully furnished we did not have to eat out at all, cheaper and healthier. Lovely 😊

Close to new river gorge
My family stayed here while visiting New River Gorge. It is a beautiful property that has everything you’ll need. The property was clean and when we go there a little welcome surprise was waiting for us ! The property was only about 10 minutes from all of our activities. Our host was very timely with responding to my questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Clean well appointed apartment with character
We had a great experience. Stayed with my husband and our 2 children under the age of 8. Couch folds out one of our daughters slept there and there was a portable bed in the master bedroom closet that we set up for our 3 year old. Price was great. Apartment had everything we needed and was close to Hawks nest state park and Fayetteville.

Amber and Jacob’s space was cute, comfortable, clean, and accessible. It was in a great location for us to explore the NRGNP— a 15-20 minute drive to most everything! Amber was responsive to questions, and the space was equipped with everything we needed. We’d stay here again for sure!

We all had such a wonderful stay. Location is great. We all made the decision that we will defiantly be booking with you again. It was beyond what we imagined because the pictures didnt do any justice. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
