Since my French is very limited, I'll write in English. We are travelling a lot, and it very rarely happens that we rate an accomodation as "excellent" (We are Germans, so you know we always find sth. to complain about ;-) But - to make a long story short - this venue is a gem and really everything is excellent: Very nice, polite and helpful owners Gerard and Laurent, very good breakfast freshly prepared by them every morning, the room/ house (we actually had the little house with own terrace in front) was very well equipped and tastefully decorated (as the garden). You immediately notice that someone was really thinking from the customer's viewpoint when planning it - chapeau! You have to be aware though that you need a car / bike to go to the center of Locquirec. All in all, it was a very exciting experience to stay there and we can highly recommend it. You probably pay somewhat more than average, but you also get more than average.

Especially the exterior is still somewhat "under construction" (since the whole venue is quite new), but this will be over in a couple of weeks and don't matter anymore then.

Excellent guesthouse, excellent hospitality. This is a real gem.

We had a wonderful time, feeling like at home, with wonderful breakfast and a special very nice dinner. the house as well as the beautiful garden bring you immediately in a relaxing mood. We will return one day!

Staying at L’Ardoisiere was one of the highlights of our trip to France. Laurent and Gerard are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and with lots of advice about what to see and do in the area. The house is stylish and comfortable and our room was also nicely decorated with a comfy bed. Breakfast is second to none and we also had dinner, which was delicious. The location is peaceful and the beach and Locquirec itself are walking distance away. Highly recommended and we hope to return!

A beautiful house, lovingly renovated. The bedrooms have been designed to retain their character whilst being exceptionally comfortable. The attention to detail is remarkable.

Very warm and friendly welcome from Laurent who was the perfect host throughout our stay. Beautifully furnished and decorated and well appointed rooms Amazing jacuzzi and sauna facilities though we did not have time to use them this trip. Fabulous 4 course dinner and great breakfast.

I liked the personal welcome, happy and smiley hosts, quiet accommodation with customized decorations all over the house. Personal touch like homemade jams or cookies with a bottle of water in the bedroom.
