This is a perfect out of the way property to relax and enjoy the ocean. Well kept and very cottage like feel. Comfortable and well appointed with plenty of options to keep occupied from beach walking, lots of games and a relaxing feel. Perfect for a family or a couple to reconnect.

There's windows on all sides of the house. The wall that faces the beach/bay is all windows, so you see the water at all times of day. It keeps you connected with the bay.

We had a wonderful time as a coaching staff. Everything was easily accessible and really beautiful. It was the perfect opportunity to relax after games on the beach. We even did a little workout and polar plunge. Highly recommend for any stay in the area. We will definitely be back to stay in the future!

This was a perfect place for us to get away and have some unplug time as a family. The beach was lovely, we took 2-3 walks a day down the beach flipping horseshoe crabs, skipping rocks, playing fetch. It was awesome. We will be back.

2nd time staying in this charming, beach front cottage. So clean and well equipped (beach towels etc) & super quick and clear communication with owners. There is lovely open kitchen & family room. It is perfect for small family or friends get away. Plus wall of windows to see sunrise!

We had a wonderful time! The house was clean, the beds comfortable, plenty of fresh towels, and even free shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were available if needed. They even had fresh cut flowers when we arrived. We will definitely rent again!

This was our second stay as we enjoyed our first visit. Our second stay was just as nice. Very quiet and clean place. The host is very responsive and flexible. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent communication, accurate description. Coral Cottage was as close to feeling like home as possible. It was a joy to sit on the deck with the sights and sounds of being on the water. A delightful escape! Loved it. We hope to return!

Our family of four had a wonderful long weekend stay at Coral cottage. Beautiful views, perfect weather, and comfortable accommodations. The property managers have really put a lot of thought and care into ensuring their guests are comfortable at the cottage and all ages have everything they need. First time visiting Slaughter beach and we will be back!

Attention to detail and amenities, LARGE-screen tv and board games from long ago. We went just to relax and watch the water. We had great weather and went out to dinner so, we didn’t use the kitchen, it seemed as though it had everything that you would need. Views are delightful, kind neighbors with a Cavalier K.C. Spaniel it’s hard not to meet someone on the beach or out on the road. Thanks for sharing your place.

Great location. Very quiet neighborhood. Cottage has all the basics you need and stores and outlets are close enough by. Cottage is very cozy with windows all around so you can see the ocean, sun rise or set. Beach can't get any closer- not to mention dog friendly and very private. Great area to walk. Water is very calm and not deep even at high tide so great for young kids or fur babies. We had one minor issue in house that owner came by to help with. If you need anything, she is very responsive and can also give you ideas of things to do in the area. Would stay here again! -Kevin & Cheryl Goodell

Even if the weather wasn't stellar (it was!) this property is a perfect place to spend some time. Kelly and crew were extremely responsive- location was wonderful as was the actual space- tastefully and comfortably decorated with perfect curated accessories to meet all human ( and doggie) visitors. It was uncanny how accurate the listing photos were to the actual property (and you know how THAT can go!) I'd definitely return to this swimmable bay beach- close to anything you need as well at Rehobeth beach, but (perfect for me) away from the big beach experience.

While we truly enjoyed our stay there were two specific issues that greatly diminished the experience, 1. Ants is the kitchen. Constant issue. 2. Overgrown bushes around the patio/deck. Bushes are much larger than pictured. Again, we had a nice relaxing time but the constant ant issue was annoying.

We had such a great stay - proximity to the bay is GREAT, and this house is so comfortable!

We had a great 4th of July long weekend at this gorgeous beach house! Amazing ocean view, very beautiful interior, very comfortable beds!! And just several steps to the Slaughter beach! Stop your search. You found the best with Coral Cottage! The house is perfect. It is clean, beautiful and safe. The owners provide everything you need from beach chairs to a comfy bed to easy access to a private beach! It is an easy drive to other beaches and a variety of restaurants. We have stayed here twice and are ready to book this cottage next year!

The reviews are all true. The cottage is lovely and really does have everything you need. (Tip: if you can't find it, look in the shed and I promise you will!) Everything from plentiful bath and beach towels to dishes to board games, the place has more accommodations than most VRBOs. The weather didn't cooperate on our week there (Mother Nature does that sometimes) but we were very comfortable in the cottage and rode out a pretty ferocious wind and rainstorm for a few days, and the cottage was perfectly weathertight. Excellent heating and cooling system. Spotless modern appliances and a huge SmartTV allowed us to hunker down in comfort. The beach would be particularly good for families with small children with its calmer bayside waves. We were treated to watching little crabs scurry about, and a turtle riding the waves to shore before crossed to the dunes. On the good days we could get out and walk we saw a gorgeous red fox, and also an osprey perched over the marsh. This is a great spot for families looking to avoid overcrowded, overcommercialized boardwalks. Just bring groceries and you have everything you need!

The Coral Cottage was lovely! Sunrise view of the bay and beach was a few steps away. Open floor plan with comfortable couches, chairs and huge tv. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were tastefully decorated like a 5 star hotel. Kathy, the owner, checked in with us upon our arrival and was very helpful. Jameson, my Golden Retriever, loved the getaway, too! Would definitely come back.

Very comfortable cottage, very clean and well stocked, sits right on the shore of the Delaware Bay. Remote and quiet. Easy access to Lewes, Rehobeth, Cape Henhelopen within 30-35 minutes. Very responsive hosts.

We enjoyed the cottage and the surroundings. It was exactly what we needed to refresh and recharge. The hosts were so accommodating in every way, from availability to everything we needed to helping make sure the lights were on because we had to check in after dark. Beautiful place to stay, we'll return for sure.

We had a fabulous long weekend staying at Kathleen’s beach cottage. It was the perfect size for my husband & I, plus pup. The cottage is beautiful & attention has gone into every detail. We were there on a very cold Sunday, but felt totally warm & cozy. It was such a treat to spend time in this lovely, clean property. Checking in was a breeze & Kathleen promptly answered the one question we had. We can’t wait to return! The only thing I would point out is that the bedrooms & bathroom are small, making this property ideal for couples or families with small children, but maybe not for larger groups.

Coral Cottage is even better in person! The interior is gorgeously decorated, beds are so comfy and the location is an idyllic spot right on the beach! New kitchenware and the coffee pot is for both drip coffee and K-cups. Kathy and Kelly are wonderful and gracious! Our trip could not have been better! Thank you! ❤️

I only can say good things about Coral Cottage. Clean, comfortable and full of nice touches. Not sure but the owners may be interior decorators since the cottage was so well appointed.

Great place to just relax especially being right on the beach

My family and I did a fun girls weekend to the Coral Cottage with my 86 year old grandma. Even during hurricane Ian we had such a wonderful time enjoying the view of the ocean in the cozy cottage. Kathleen was generous enough to allow us a slightly early check in, brought toilet paper when we were out and was quick to respond to us. This home was perfect for our group and the windows throughout were breath taking! It was everything we wanted and more for a relaxing weekend away. We already want to go back! Thank you, Kathleen!

Everything about this experience was great! Coral Cottage was adorable, Kelly and Kathy did not disappoint. We appreciated all the special little touches, the flowers were beautiful! Watching the sunrise over the water on the quiet beach was so peaceful and beautiful.....I miss it already! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cottage.
