Great spot for a London vacation. 15-minute walk to King's Cross/St. Pancras, great little grocery shop a few minutes from the flat. Clean, neat flat with all the amenities we needed, Shirley is a great host. 5/5 would stay there again!

Safe, cozy, convenient place to stay. Functional landing pad for 4 to rejuvenate after long days all over London. Located between two Underground stops, it was fun to explore the neighborhood surroundings!

We stayed for a couple of nights at this lovely apartment. Being near the canal meant great walks and morning jogs. Good restaurants close by as well. The apartment is well fitted as it is her home, so we had everything we could want for our stay. We love the little garden for sitting in the evening. Highly recommended!

We had lovely time exploring London and the greater region with perfect transportation connections. It was a 15 minute pleasant walk to St Pancras, a little less to Kings Cross, which gave us access to everything we wanted including a day trip to Paris. There were even closer connections to the great bus network . 5 minute walk to local pubs, a little more to grocery stores. It took us a moment or two to find the front door the first time (as it did for a couple of food deliverers) but that was a minor thing. The place itself was spotless, with a very well appointed kitchen and plenty of room. The upstairs two bedrooms were comfortable for four of us, given normal European full/double beds. The host was wonderful with guidance and a nice book of recommendations left behind. And above and beyond: we left a couple of clothing items behind that she kindly figured out how to get back to us. We would return.

This is an excellent two-bedroom flat that has a comfortable kitchen and sitting area. The patio is delightful and the location is excellent. There are many meal and grocery options within convenient walking distance. Shirley is an excellent host.

My husband and I were traveling with an adult, teenage son. It was great to have our own space and to be able to kick back and relax after busy days sightseeing. We really appreciated the restaurant recommendations! Easy to get to the British Museum and Natural History Museum by taxi or tube (don't take the Uber). We knew just what to expect when we got in and felt at home right away! The shower was tricky and the beds were very firm compared to what we are used to. We'll never get used to the UK having no top sheet on the beds! :)

My family (two parents, a 19-year-old) spent a lovely fortnight here on a London holiday. We prioritized a comfortable, centrally located, well-equipped two-bedroom apartment, and this unit fit the bill perfectly. A short, brisk walk to King's Cross/St. Pancras (transit links to everywhere, including mainland Europe), or a slightly longer, very scenic walk along the Regent's Canal to not just the big train stations but a fun, full-of-life, up-and-coming zone centered around Coal Drops. Don't miss the Bookstore Boat on the canal. Only a few minutes away: the British Library, Euston station, and (in the other direction) the Angel district with interesting shops, varied restaurants, a movie theater, and grocery stores to top up the fridge. We couldn't have asked for more. This unit even has a sweet garden patio where we sat in the evening for the cool breezes and the night sounds. Utterly quiet after dark, with two comfortable beds. Gated security. Communication with Shirley, the property owner, was effortless too. We'll be back!

Perfect location for exploring London and for easily getting from Heathrow and to Eurostar. Our hostess was so helpful and made everything so easy. Thank you!

The property is within walking distance of Kings Cross rail/underground station. Numerous restaurants are nearby, as is a grocery. The stay was very quiet, a relief for us. Two bedrooms are offered along with a sleeping pad for downstairs. Our only issue: shower temperature. We could work the shower, but we could not achieve a temperature that was not too hot.

Lovely, bright flat with a nice garden patio. It was well equipped and a great size for two couples or a family. The location was very convenient, just ten minutes walk from King’s Cross tube and train station. Shirley was very responsive to all our questions and was very helpful. I highly recommend this stay.

Très bon logement de part de son emplacement près de la gare de Saint Pancras et du métro ainsi que du Regent Canal et de Carnaby Square qui est un bon spot pour manger. L'appartement est rès agréable et vraiment silencieux ce qui est un plus dans le quartier.

The flat was as described. It was easy to reach King's Cross. The kitchen was well equipped and the flat was lovely and warm. It was a great place to base ourselves for a long weekendnin London. We would definitely stay there again.

Shirley’s home was exactly what we needed. Very clean, lots of space, adequate privacy for three teenagers, no location wise was ideal as most of what we were doing operated out of King’s Cross — both in coming and going on the Chunnel, and using the Metro. The place is steps away from the Regent Canal, or you can meander through he neighborhoods to the Kings Cross area. The Angel area is about a 10 minute walk that has every conceivable restaurant and grocery store.

A 10 minutes à pied de la gare de King Cross, dans une résidence tranquille, l'appartement de Shirley est cosy et confortable. l'intérieur est idéal pour 4, mais il est possible d'y résider à 5 en dormant sur un lit d'appoint. La cuisine est très bien équipée . Les procédures d'accueil et de départ de l'appartement se sont déroulées très facilement. Il nous a même été permis de laisser nos bagages sur place en attendant notre train du soir. Merci Shirley.

Komplett ausgestattetes kleines Haus mit sehr nettem Kontakt zur Vermieterin. Kurzer Weg zum Regent Canal und von dort schöner Weg entlang des Kanal nach Camden. Viele Restaurants und Pubs zu Fuß erreichbar (Angel). Die Lage ist ideal da Bus-, Bahn- und U-Bahn-Haltestelle in 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Shirley gave a very warm welcome and lots of information, we enjoyed the stay at Shirley's home very much. It has a very quiet but central location, an fully equipped kitchen (even with coffee and a full range of spices for use) and even a small garden terrace. Perfect ot walk to King's Cross along the river.... Note that parking is not possible near the appartment (only for loading/unloading). We found a reasonanble private parking nearby through "Just Park"....

Comfortable, well kept flat in a quiet neighbourhood with great Underground and Train Connections within a walking distance of approx. 10 mins. Shirley was very nice to communicate with and her friend Annie, who welcomed us, was also very kind. We enjoyed our stay very much ! Would definitely recommend it !

We had a very nice stay in Shirleys Flat: well equipped (we could even use spices and coffee - thanks for that), enough place for us (4 persons), close to Kings Cross (10 minutes walk along Regents Canal), nice surroundings, quiet neighbourhoood. In case of returning to Londond we would like to come again. Nice contact to Annie and her husband, making it possible to arrive around noon and leaving the luggage until 4p.m. - no new guests this day :-) Thanks for everything, we had a great time in London!

Wir, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Teenager, haben im März 2018 1 Woche in dieser schönen Wohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung verteilt sich auf 2 Stockwerke. Es gibt einen große Terrasse. Die Wohnung ist komplett und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Trotz der verkehrsgünstigen Lage (Underground-Stations Kings Cross und Angel, viele Bushaltestellen) gibt es keinen Verkehrslärm. Die Wohnung liegt nur 2 Gehminuten vom Regentskanal entfernt. An diesem kann man bei schönem Wetter lange spazieren gehen.Es gibt ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, welche fast rund um die Uhr geöffnet haben. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin und zu Annie war sehr nett. Wir können die Wohnung empfehlen.

Very nice and helpful owner, gave us great directions, lots of helpful information for us in the unit. Terrific kitchen, we loved cooking in it, everything one could possibly need. Close to Kings Cross, bus, grocery stores. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our holiday. The apartment is very comfortable and convenient for visiting London: cosy , fully equiped, clean and very well located. The area is very nice, close to Regent's Canal(a 2 minutes walk) and near Candem and Coven Garden. About 10 minutes walk to the underground and very easy to access to the city centre by bus as well. Communication with our host was excellent. Shirley is very friendly, easy to deal with and always ready to help. Everything was fine and well-organized. THANK YOU! Sehr gut vom Bahnhof Kings Cross zu erreichen aber trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Auch sehr gute Betreuung vom Vermieter. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Ein kleiner Mangel ist die Hellhörigkeit
