Nice, clean property. Great for dogs. Cooking was easy, kitchen had plenty of utensils. Grocery store is 15 mins away. We used the firepit as well and it was great

Very well appointed and decorated house with a nice fenced in yard and fire pit area. Super comfortable - furniture and debs. Great location. Lake hikes, fifty-three winery, and short rides to Civil War battlefields. Fill your days with adventure and then enjoy a fire outside in a beautiful spot. Worked very well for our family : 4 adults: 2 parents and 2 20+ yr old adult children. Highly recommend. Will go back.

Overall we enjoyed our stay there are things that need to be repaired rotted wood on back deck I moved a pot over it to cover so we didn't step in it , the weather strip on back door was coming off , def need a motion light to cover walking to and from fire pit area its very dark . The biggest issue we had was we were given the wrong code for the door and couldn't open the key box at the back of house , thank goodness the lawn caretaker was there and he contacted the proper person to have code reset so we could get in the door and he also checked if we could get in alil earlier considering we had just drove in from IL for a family funeral. He was our savior , didn't catch his name but he is awesome and def deserves a raise. And before I close my review the house could use alil more detail to cleaning , I cleaned the water dispenser on the fridge the filter needs changed water tasted funny , I had to wash utensils and cups before we used there was some very hard to clean sticky stuff on alot of the kitchen items , and we purchased more toilet paper and paper towels .

Perfect place for our group. Comfortable beds. Not on the lake, but close enough to everything we were interested in. Monticello, UVA, Montpelier, and Culpeper are all within driving distance.

I loved my month long stay here. The house was sparkling clean and very well appointed. The Lake Therapy house is very comfortable. Beds and couches were very cozy. It had everything I needed, lots of extra soft blankets and pillows and even a brand new crockpot. Very easy key pad entry and the washer and dryer worked great. It was a quiet and peaceful trip. Just what I was looking for.

It was peaceful & nice. However, we were not able to get into the property till the next day because the entry code did not work and the people in the office did not know about the lockbox in back. We had to stay at a hotel almost an hour away. When I tried to do a load of laundry the machine would not go through the spin cycle. Had to wring everything out by hand before placing in the dryer.

A pretty and comfortable home. The beds were the best we ever encountered!

The pictures do not do this home justice. Everything was immaculately clean, the house was nicely updated and the property has everything you could possibly want or need there for you. Our dogs absolutely loved staying here as well. We were all very comfortable, it truly felt like home away from home.

This place is equipped with everything you would ever need (except laundry detergent and coffee kcups. You'll want to bring those yourself) and SO clean! It feels brand new. The host was communicative and friendly. The property around the house is fantastic: fenced in back yard for the dog, well working grill, quaint and well kept fire pit, etc. The one thing I will say is that the boat slip is not within walking distance which was a bit misleading on the listing. You do have to drive, but there is space to park at the dock so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. I just think it should be more clear that the house itself is not on the water.

The house was located down a private gravel driveway in a quiet neighborhood. The dock is about 5 min away which was convenient for boating. The house was clean and well stocked with linens and other conveniences like paper towels, garbage bags, dishwashing detergent, etc. We loved the fenced in backyard for our dog and the side yard with fire pit was used almost every night. We bought extra firewood from one of the convenience stores. Overall, it was a great house and we enjoyed our stay. They had all sorts of other spices, so I am going to guess previous guests accidentally took them home. The fire pit with games were an awesome plus for the evenings. The only thing that I would change is the towels and sheets were very stiff and not pleasant for me. My hubby didn’t love them, but he could use them. I had to use one of the super soft fuzzy blankets from the closet to sleep. There is a front and back area for relaxing too. The yard has an excellent fence for small dogs, but we didn’t bring ours. I would next time though. The boat slip worked just fine for our 20 foot boat. The ramp worked just fine too. I would recommend this house for a family of 6 or less!!

Fit our family fine, with three bedrooms. Close proximity to the lake - but community access wasn't great. The house was loaded with everything we needed from soap, to utensils, grill, patio table, etc. And it was very clean. Didn't like the internet access - very poor, and the grass was overgrown which limited yard usage.
