Good hotel for a single night. The room is a little to small, but I knew that. Nice breakfast buffet, with everything needed for a good start to the day. The staff was very careful to fill up and keep the buffet clean

The toilet was very poorly placed, there was no room for the knees. Not easy to use when you are slightly disabled in your movements

Got a nice, clean and quiet room with everything I need for a pleasant stay: wireless internet, TV, a fridge and a water kettle. I also appreciated the free coffee in the restaurant and the hotel's very friendly staff.

Nothing to dislike.

Decided to stay there because of the photos and was not disappointed, this place is beautiful, especially with piles of snow surrounding it. The view from the room window was like a real winter wonderland. The whole hotel has a very nice atmosphere. I also loved the sauna experience! It is located in the little lighthouse on the top of the hotel. You can book it for your room at the reception, so it's all just for you. Afterwards you can go out to the terrace to enjoy the view and the winter air. Breakfast was tasty and the choices were ok, I think everyone can find something for themselves. You also have access to the shared kitchen with coffee&tea. What really cemented my opinion of this place though was the way staff and owners were doing their best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It was truly what elevated the whole experience. They told us about the history of the place and went out of their way to help us. I would definitely come back there, maybe in summer for comparison! :)

The only thing that can cause problems is the fact that it is a little far away from city center. I would recommend going by car or getting a taxi, especially if you have a bigger luggage. But well, you wouldn't be able to have such a picturesque spot in the middle of Kemi!

Loved everything about this place. The atmosphere, the staff, the space in our room. We had the opportunity to meet the owner, and he was such a nice guy. He made us feel like family. Highly recommended place.

Nice room with everything I need for a pleasant stay - waterkettle, internet, TV with sufficient number of channels et cetera. Cosy restaurant with free coffee for the guests - much appreciated! Troublefree parking. Excellent staff. So nothing to complain about.

I was pleasantly surprised by having a sauna in the apartment. This was excellent! The staff was extremely helpful with all our requirements, and when we stated we would not be up in time for breakfast, they offered to bring us breakfast separately. The room also had a small area to cook which we used for making our own breakfast, and the staff brought us a coffee making machine plus coffee and filters!

There really was nothing not to like. The ventilation could've been a bit better, but the room itself was much better than we hoped for.

Working at the port so hotel is close, staff were so cooperative and provided a 1st class breakfast every day to my room. Nice to have a sauna in the room and a small kitchen also.

Size of the rooms was good and big fridge in the room

Lack of ventilation in the rooms and non opening windows. Guys in summer you have to slow guest to open at least one window.

I loved the people here, so friendly and helpful.
