Rental was fantastic. The ONLY issue was the neighbors at the top of the hill kept calling the cops on cars parked in the culdesac. Noone was parked on or in front of her house, just to close in proximity to her property.

We had a great time here. Home was clean and kitchen was stocked. Has coffee, filters, and powdered creamer all left from previous visitors. Oil to cook with as well. Hot tub was nice and the walk into town was maybe 10 minutes at most. Beds were more firm than we would like and found it strange that living room and dining room are on different floors. Other than that, we really enjoyed our time.

The house was perfect and the host was super responsive and communicative. The only thing I'd caution is that while the location is very close to town, it is up a fairly steep hill which makes walking back a little difficult. Other than that everything was even better than in the listing.

Our stay was fantastic. The location was ideal, providing easy access to all the local attractions. The accommodations were perfect, comfortably hosting both our family and friends (4 adults and 4 kids). The house was well-maintained and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent, ensuring a smooth check-in and out. Highly recommended!

The location was awesome, right at downtown, walking distance. It was very quiet, which is what we were looking for. Plenty of space for 9 of us, could have added a few more! Everything was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

This is our third Octoberfest at this same house in Helen because it’s the BEST SPOT IN HELEN! Close to everything, room for everyone, ALL the amenities like a hot tub, grill, king size in master, crock pot, wine bottle opener and more! I can’t wait to book and be back!

Our family rented the three chalets on the street that are side by side and it worked out beautifully! At one point when we had 25 people together for a pre dinner gathering it was a bit crowded but the “teenagers” were easily able to just walk next door to hang out which tremendously eased the overcrowding. The bedrooms worked out great for everyone as we had 3 teenage girls in one room (each had their own bed) and 2 boys in the opposite bedroom (each with their own bed). In addition, there were 2 nice bedrooms for the adults. Great location off Main Street Helen but up high on the hill so was very quiet for sleeping. Well equipped kitchen and 2 beautiful decks. Our host was so accommodating and easy to work with. We had no issues at all while there and I highly recommend, especially for families who need lots of sleeping space!

The cabin has plenty of space and is conveniently located to downtown Helen. There was everything we needed to cook a meal. The beds were very comfortable. All in all a great place to stay if you have a large family.

This was an amazing experience for me and so many if my family. We booked last minute and received much more than we asked for. This place had everything. The amount of care and planning that had to go into this home for others seems unreal. We were able to find anything we needed in the Chalet. It was absolutely Magical. This was a perfect place for the 4 of us. The house was spotless and modern farmhouse decor. We loved that it was so close to town, yet very private. We were able to enjoy all the Christmas stores and the lights at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful new home. Beautiful views of the woods. Very clean. Very nice furnishings. Hot tub was fun. Grill was a great bonus. Would DEFINITELY recommend this home.
But: I would not allow any member of my family to even consider walking the road down to the town. No sidewalks. Very steep. Extremely steep drop off. Very narrow areas.
Having said that, TOTALLY WORTH IT just to drive down and pay the $10 for all day, go and come back later if you want, parking.

First time to the area for a girls weekend with 3 generations of our family. The space was perfect, close to everything, clean and comfortable. The teens loved the hot tub and the adults loved space. Karen was very responsive with questions but we really didn’t need much, everything had been thought of. Would definitely stay again.

We went up for a short trip with our family and the grandparents. The location is great proximity to downtown Helen - you are right near the mountain coaster which is great. The road is up a steep hill so note it's not necessarily walkable but such a short jaunt and there is plenty of parking downtown all day for $10 (in and out privledges).
The Layout is great (2 bedrooms on the top floor with lots of beds and a bathroom, master on the ground floor with ensuite and then another bedroom downstairs with bathroom ensuite off of a living room). Just a small note sounds do travel a bit in the house, ie you can hear people walking around on the different floors, tv noise traveling from one level to another. The hot tub was a nice way to relax and feel like you are amongst the trees. Overall we had a great time!

Great house in Helen!
This roomy house was perfect for our group of 5 adult friends. While it isn’t easily walkable to downtown, it is really close. The house is clean and fresh and well stocked. Beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the decks and hot tub. There were deer in the back. Communication is easy with the owner. We had no issues. The place is great.

Location was great, the house was spacious, super clean, and it was obvious the owner had put a lot of thought into what would help make the stay better by including the little things that made the place seem like you were right at home. Really nice getaway
This was our first time using Vrbo. It was no hassle getting in and there was classical music playing as we entered which gave the home a nice atmosphere. There was a book that had attractions around which helped my family and I get around and also things to know if needed about the property.
We would definitely use again and we really enjoyed our stay it was spacious and fit our family comfortable.

Summer Fun
This house was perfect! We actually rented all three side by side for a huge family trip. The homes fit our families perfectly. Each family had their own floor. We were never more then 15 minutes away from everything we wanted to do! Tubing, hiking, walking downtown, it was the perfect location. Karen was the best host, super responsive and always answered any questions within minutes! Thanks Karen for the perfect week in Helen :)

Plenty of Space for Family Gathering
Exceeded our expectations. We were a party of 16 celebrating a siblings 70th birthday and rented 2 homes next to each other which provided us with ample beds and common space. There was so much to do in Helen that we wish we had more time to actually enjoy the homes. Yes, the homes are situated at the top of a steep hill but there were plenty of inexpensive places to park in town and several walked down into town getting a ride back to the VRBO. The bedrooms are all quite spacious and the homes very sunny. They had everything we needed.

Roomy House
We had three families (all adults) and plenty of room! The eating area is great for games and hanging out. There are bedrooms on each floor, that gave each family some privacy. Easiest check in and check out we have ever experienced. Highly recommend this house!

Beautiful getaway!
Our visit to this beautiful chalet was great! The neighborhood is nice and quiet, the home is decorated simply, yet beautiful. Each person had a bed to themselves, there was room around the farm style table for us all, and the lower sitting room was very spacious! Another full bathroom would have been amazing since it was all ladies,but we made it work! Karen, thanks for being so nice...We look forward to returning again!

Wedding Weekend
We’re were in town for a family wedding in Toccoa. The drive was about 35-40 min through the lovely countryside. This home is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Even the small office space felt roomy. The chalet worked great for our party of 7 adults and one child. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. We were disappointed we didn’t have time to use the nice new hot tub. We enjoyed our stay!
