Good place to stay with friends and family

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean , cozy and warm with plenty of room for our group of 11. The dining room table was big enough and there was enough dinnerware. Would definitely stay here again.

Our son and his fiance were married at Milagro , a 25 min drive from this comfortable and roomy hill side country home. All the amenities we needed and more were easy to access. It was very nice to have a dining table large enough for us to gather around. Everyone had a comfy bed with additional areas to relax. Let it be known that the driveway is surprisingly steep.There are stairs from the street, also stairs from the garage into the house, stairs going to the bedrooms over the garage, and stairs to the media/bunk bed room from the living area. If stairs aren't an issue, there is no issue. You do need to pass thru the bedroom with the two queen size beds to get to the largest bedroom with large bathroom over the garage. We were staying with family, so we worked this out. This home was enjoyed and we would stay here again. Thank you to our hostess Sandy!

Our Daughter was getting married in Julian, at Sacred Mountain, so we needed a place that was big enough for us and all of our family members that flew in from many places and this place was Perfect! We were very relaxed and comfortable here. Plenty of beds and bathooms and we were all very comfortable! The house was clean, cozy, and relaxing! The views were a bonus and the neighbohood is very peaceful. We all loved this place and we really enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was lovely with all the necessities that you need and more! I really loved the location as it was very quiet and we met some neighbors that were very lovely and friendly! We had an absolutely great time at the cabin. We stayed for 5 nights and we enjoyed every minute we spent in the cabin. Everything was perfect and really comfortable. Also you can tell that the owners of the cabin really take pride in what they do and they didn't miss any detail on the cabin to make it look and feel like home! Really impressed with our stay. Will definitely come back and recommend it to other people as well! Thank you for this great experience!

I can't say enough how I didn't want to go home! Why do vacations have to end!? Sitting by the fire, enjoying the views was great. I loved all the decorations and unique design of the house was picturesque. Beds are super comfy, big deal for a bad back person. Walking distance to so much - The Village, brewery, hiking trails. Perfect for us. We got snowed in and they were able to accommodate us for the extra day, so thank you big time for that. Sandy was was great at check in, going through the house, making sure we had everything we needed . Will be back when we can. Loved your incredible cabin. Thanks for an amazing 11 year anniversary!

10 of us stayed at Sandy's place and we loved it. Plenty of room in the house, the beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and the location was perfect. There are lots of area to relax and the layout gave us quiet areas to zoom. We walked from the house to the Banner trail, and 1 day we walked to town. The house was clean, and we enjoyed the views from the deck. We will definitely stay here again.

This was a great place for us to hold our business retreat. It allowed for a more inclusive and intimate setting where we had plenty of space to stretch out and support the participants as they designed their next steps to make an impact in the world. Everyone slept well, there was plenty of hot water and towels, and the views were beautiful.

The property was very clean when we arrived. There had been que a bit a now but, everything had been shoveled and ready when we got there. The neighborhood was very peaceful and pleasant. The house was older but had a lot of character and was very spacious. Pretty much everything you need for cooking or baking was available. We very much enjoyed our stay and the snow!

Perfect spot for our family get-together. Cozy beds, plenty of rooms, relaxing living room, and a great kitchen. Plus, excellent location not far from downtown Julian. We loved our stay.

This house was perfect for our group. The people in Julian are amazing! My brother and sister in law were supposed to get married at Sacred Mountain. Unfortunately the weather was dangerous and the wedding had to be moved to a different location (the day of the wedding?!?!) Thank you Anna and Julian Brewing Company for making it work! We had so much fun!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfect.

Family and friends reunion and the house fit all our needs and wants. Plenty of room, lots of fun space, views, big bedrooms and we had a blast. Lots of comforts of home including extra blankets, towels etc. We used the kitchen for all our meals had everything needed. The house is close to hiking ( which we did) and close to shops and restaurants. Julian is a gem and so is the home. We are already planning a return stay here.

We loved the house, location, amenities. No issues or complaints. Will return and stay here again.

We had the opportunity to get away with family and chose this home for a mini vacation. Close to downtown Julian, but in a quiet, tree lined neighborhood was just what the doctor ordered. .The house had plenty of room for our family and it felt very private will all the different spaces. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed to stay at home, and all we had to so was show up. We went into Julian 1 afternoon and love this little town ! Many shops and restaurants and quaint enough where we really felt away from it all. We will return to Julian and to this wonderful home. Thank you for sharing!

The online listing looks superb unfortunately there was lots of areas at the residence that were not up to par. Several areas need maintenance. Plumbing is very poor upstairs, sinks would fill up as well as tub while you're running water. All mattresses and bedding upstairs need to be replaced very dated. The red carpet is in horrible condition. The fireplace on the top floor does not work as well as the jacuzzi tub and there is no TV remote to talk TV to help with selection. Moving to the kitchen the description says fully equipped, lots of utensils and pots for stained with previous residents food. Several cupboards do not close very soiled on the outside of the cabinetry. The top full bath toilet seat needs to be replaced as well as updated for cleaniness. The stairwell leading down to the media room has a broken piece of wood. None of the doors seem to lock properly. Headed down to the garage to utilize the washer and dryer is a poorly kept area very unsanitary. My biggest frustration is when I pay for a cleaning deposit and I go into the residency and have to vacuum and clean the areas for my family to utilize I don't feel it's fair to me the paying party. All in all the house has a potential of being a beautiful vacation home it just needs some TLC and very well maybe the homeowners are not aware of the condition the home is in. Messaging Sandy regarding questions I will have to say she was very efficient. And on one last note on the last night of our stay we had the carbon monoxide detector go off with a beep and then another beep and I could not figure out if it was a low battery or an issue with a carbon monoxide detector. Again maintenance of the residence is definitely something that should be considered before someone stays there again.

Sandy was an amazing host. We felt so welcomed to a town we had never been to. She made great recommendations. Her place is very spacious and cozy. So much space for family time. We watched movies, played board games, grilled, took morning walks and even saw deer. Her home had it all. We made great memories here, hope to go again soon.

This house is beautiful, roomy and quiet. Location is close enough to walk to town (for restaurants, shops, groceries) and the owners are very friendly and available to answer any questions, and provide recommendations. The house is well stocked from the kitchen (including coffee!) to the bathrooms with ample towels. Laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, lots of pillows to choose from, extra blankets. Lots of spacious rooms, and the beds were great. Property as described. Quick ez check in. Everything you will need for a comfortable stay.

We were happily surprised to find this home perfectly oriented for our get together. The location was 5 min from town (at the most) and the home has a separate chateau connected to it to provide privacy for an entire family or just a couple looking to get away from the “action” in the main house. Plenty of parked as well. We will be renting this place again thanks!
