We enjoyed our stay at Edisto Beach. House was comfortable and clean. We didn't use the elevator. Kitchen was well equipped. One bed was missing the top sheet. We stopped by rental office and they provided a set of sheets. Some sheets didn"t fit the beds well (not deep enough). Easy check in and check out. Island was quiet. We did day trips to Savannah, Charleston, and Beaufort.

We have stayed here 3 years in a row and they had decorations for Christmas! Outside lights and a tree inside. Thanks for sharing your home! Merry Christmas!! 🎄🎅🏻❤️

5 bedrooms each with private bath attached are great for crowd. 2 masters on main level. And the elevator was essential. This house has easily the best equipped kitchen I’ve ever used in a rental. Nice proximity to beach access right at end of Cheehaw.

The house was comfortable & spacious for a long weekend at the beach for our group of 7 adults. Location across the street from beach access 9 made it a convenient, quick walk to “toes in the sand”. The eat-in kitchen and screened porch were our favorite spaces — both are spacious and comfortable for 7 or 8 adults. Nice to have an elevator to get all our things up & downstairs. 5 of the 6 bedrooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. The 6th bedroom should not be listed as a bedroom. It doesn’t have a window, so it may even be that according to building codes, it isn’t officially a bedroom. It’s the size of a walk-in closet. No ceiling fan & no closet in it. Other than that, the house was really nice & met our needs. The ice machine did not work, but Vacasa came out and tried to fix it (they were unsuccessful). They did supply us with bagged ice, though. Another reviewer or two mentioned disappointment with cleanliness of the home. I would, unfortunately, have to agree the house is not as clean as I would have liked. The floors throughout need a thorough mopping, and cabinets need to be wiped down to remove grease & stickiness. Kitchen window needs cleaning inside & out. Outside toilet was really nasty. It’s a lovely, spacious, comfortable home in a great location for beach lovers — it just needs a cleaning crew to do a thorough job every visit.

This is a great home for large families. Plenty of amenities, games, TVs for everyone. Several areas to sit and relax. Especially enjoyed the screened in deck. We’ll definitely be looking to book again for next year. As always, Vacasa was wonderful.

Great property. Small complaint-the screened porch had lots of dog hair. We had a crawler. Also, there was no broom, only a dust mop. Loved so much about it!

807 Cheehaw is a beautiful property inside and out. We loved the large kitchen for cooking and playing family games at night. Everyone in our family had their own room and bathroom which was especially nice after returning from the beach each day. We would definitely recommend both Vacasa and this property!!!

Best family vacation!

This is our third year in Edisto and our favorite house. It’s very close to the beach and easy to walk to. I live that tjis house is dog friendly. The screened porch is large and spacious and was my family’s gathering spot. The elevator was a great convenience as our older knees really needed it when we were unloading/loading our vehicles. Likes the host provides sheets and towels. I consider them as a super host and already looking into booking this house again.

Great location, well stocked kitchen, very roomy, comfortable beds and furniture. Very clean.

When looking for a pet-friendly house with an elevator at Edisto Beach, selection is limited. I am so glad we found 807 Cheehaw last summer. This was our 2nd stay in this well-equipped home. We had a great Family week. Everyone had enough room to do their own things with ample room if we all wanted to be together. Dinner on the screened porch was a nightly ritual and the short distance to the beach was super convenient. Our family ranges from 1-91-years-old. This home easily accommodates all ages!

Well-equipped kitchen. Beds are very comfortable. Ample parking. The only way to improve this house would be adding a pool (if the owners wanted to do so). It’s great! We will be back.

We loved staying in this home. Plenty of space. We especially loved the screened in porch and easy walk to beach. We’ve already booked again for next year!

Great location and wonderful large kitchen for a group. We really enjoyed the screened in porch, also. The coffee area was awesome. The outside grill did not work well and we ended up having to bring most of the burgers inside to finish cooking. Also, the outside shower and bathroom were not useable . It appeared that they had not been cleaned in months. Otherwise, the house was great. We would also recommend that there be more than one towel per person in the bathrooms.

I loved the spaciousness of the house for my family of 13. The extra bathrooms and the elevator were why I picked it. A few problems with elevator, but Vacasa took care of all issues in a very timely manner. Family loved proximity to beach and quiet street. Cleaners just need to clean the dog hair up better. White dog hair was on porch and around the house floor. Only thing my husband complained of was that.

Perfect for our annual vacation with family and friends. The porch is a favorite for the grandparents. The beach is close for the college age grandkids. There was nothing lacking in the kitchen. It has MULTIPLE styles of coffee makers. I am looking forward to next year!

Eight friends from our college days, 60 years ago, gathered in Edisto Beach, staying at 807 Cheehaw. We had expected 10 but 2 had to cancel at the last minute. Our experience was excellent! A few requests of the property manager, Vacasa, drew prompt responses; the property was squeaky clean, well appointed, etc. We loved the screened porch - and the wooded area right next door. The proximity to the beach was great. We enjoyed breakfast around the big island in the kitchen when it was too chilly to be on the porch. The elevator was a boon! We did wish for more tea towels in the kitchen.

Excellent accommodations! All our needs met with a full stocked kitchen ware and wonderful porch chairs . We WILL. be back!

When we arrived on Saturday, the single trash bin roll card was full. We reported this issue to management company--nothing was done. We had to wait until Monday for the trash service pick up. By then, with a family of 14 that cooks every meal, we had about 10 garbage bags that would not fit in the roll cart and the pick up service will not take bags outside the cart. So, immediately after the Monday pickup, the cart was full again. By the time the Friday pickup arrived, we had another 10 bags outside the cart. We looked for a local dump (that we found out to be completely off the island) and eventually ended up at the management office to face-to-face report the issue. The house desperately needs 2 rollcarts for a house that sleeps 14. Also, we went 5 of the 7 days without an icemaker b/c the icemaker water line was attached to a filtration system that went out. We had to report the issue 3 times before it was finally resolved on the late Friday afternoon with us checking out at 10am the next day. Otherwise, great house that was well stocked by the owner and cleaning crew.

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! It was clean, well-stocked, close to the beach. We are already considering renting it again next summer!

Our Edisto rental on Cheehaw was as advertised! We booked the home for a family gathering to celebrate my 60th birthday. The kids and grand kids loved the house. All three families had plenty of room to enjoy their stay. Awesome Edisto home!
