Great location, but there were enough small issues that add up to me saying that I would not do a return stay. The quality of the cookware is very poor. Some of the pans have 50% of the non-stick coating missing. The oven is an adventure because the knob has missing numbers, you have to guess at the temperature. Not enough glassware for the number of occupants. It was very annoying to have to stay and wait for the dishwasher to finish to put the dishes away before leaving. The chairs at the dining room table make a lot of noise when moved; felt pads on the bottom of the legs would go a lonnnnng way (not to mention the obvious damage being done to the flooring). Toss out some of the fake plants; they are on every flat surface in the living area.

My family stayed in the house during my daughter's college graduation. We had a great stay. The house is very spacious. We had one issue with one of the heat lamps making a loud noise due to wind and the property manager responded right away on a Sunday.

The house was perfect for our family stay. Plenty of space to spread out and give each family their own bathroom. We loved the location…walking distance to coffee and breakfast and of course the beach! House was furnished with all the cleaning start ups needed to easily keep the house organized during our stay. I highly recommend!

When staying in a beach community, it's all about the location, and this place is in a great location. Both beach and boat access, within walking distance to the main area, markets, etc. The house is simply gorgeous; I will definitely come back with my family over the summer! The house has so much room! Thank you for such a wonderful time.

We had an amazing stay with our work colleagues for a few days of business brainstorming. Loved the third floor patio and the location near Balboa is amazing. Definitely recommend this place. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful location and walkable to beach, restaurants, Balboa Island ferry, and more. Plenty of space for three families to share. Great kitchen and living space for everyone to gather.

Great house and awesome location. 1 house away from the beach, walking distance to food. Great little bar 2 blocks away. We stayed with family, a total of 9 people and we had plenty of room. Wish we could have stayed a few more days!!

The house was a wonderful size and fit 12 people very comfortably. It was just about a block from the beach making it a fantastic location. The kitchen was well stocked in terms of dishes glasses and utensils. Be aware that you will only receive a few rolls of toilet paper. We ran out within 24 hours as there were 12 of us and had to run to the store to get more. This was very disappointing as we were unaware that this would be the case. In addition we only received one roll of paper towels- which also disappeared within a day. Make sure you purchase what you need before hand so you’re not caught in the same situation.

My family, friends, and I loved staying at this home to celebrate my 30th birthday. The contracts, paperwork, and verification process was a little daunting at first -- but I can appreciate Beachview Realty's thoroughness! The location is 10/10, steps from the beach with a beachview from the rooftop deck. It's also walking distance from Balboa. We enjoyed dinner on Balboa island one night with a quick walk to the ferry. The rooms are spacious and the bunk bed was a nice surprise (two queens!). The only thing to note is that it is on Balboa Blvd which is a busy street - the house is pretty well insulated from traffic noise, except for 2am drag racing we heard one night... oof! We'd definitely consider staying here again!

The house is large, beautiful, and beach close. It was clean, nicely furnished, and had comfortable beds. We liked it so much that we booked it for next year!

Large & Comfortable
Larger than needed house with comfy accommodations. Wonderfully close to the beach and close to great restaurants and sites. Great place for a large family. Loved the long dining room table that could accommodate a large group.

Fantastic service and EXTREMELY responsive to our needs. The staff was very pleasant and professional. I had only rented properties that were individually owned/managed, but this was a game changer. The bikes they delivered were newer. We had two minor issues that they resolved within the hour. I'd happily use them again! Thx all

First, since everyone in our group is use to hotel beds, a couple of the beds including the Master Bed had super firm beds. Every morning we had to hear complaining of how hard the beds were. Not a big deal to me, but I am speaking for the group. The other small complaint the group had was that only one of the burners outside on the top balcony was not working. There was one that was working so we made due.

This was the perfect spot for our girls trip with 7 women. So much space and the view from the deck was beautiful! Would definitely book again!
