We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. It was clean, accurately described, and in a wonderful area. We enjoyed staying in Murrells Inlet near the best restaurants in the area. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful and the community pool was very nice and well equipped. There was a lot of work that happened to be done to the subdivision while we were there - pressure washing, mowing, and repaving the road and parking lot. Just the way it is, no fault of the owner. Did not diminish our stay but the neighbors had to come tell us about all of it. When and where to move our cars, etc. would have been good to hear from the owner on this, but I’m not sure how much they were told since they don’t live there. Only a mild inconvenience to a wonderful week.

What a private and amazing property! We felt very safe in the area. Clean and quiet with lots to do…books, TV and walking paths! The host is very responsive to emails! Definitely recommend this well equipped cottage in Murrell’s Inlet! We didn’t want to leave!

Very clean, quiet and comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "cozy cottage". Soon upon our arrival the host checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, such a friendly host. The cottage smelled so clean and fresh. It has a very open, airy feeling, lots of lamps for soft lighting. We have stayed many places over the years in the area, but this is the quietest place we have ever stayed. We love the short walk to the river, and the huge live oaks adorned with Spanish moss accented by lights at night. The choir of birds singing at dawn is a plus! The history of the plantation is so interesting. We would love to return in the future.

Kitchen well supplied with utensils / pots / pans / dishes. King bed was very comfortable. Screened porch was very enjoyable. Gas grill worked very well for seafood purchased at nearby markets. The live oaks surrounding the cottage are the amazing aspect of this location that can not be underestimated.

Enjoyed my short stay at the cottage, the master bed was comfortable. The cottage was clean, fully equipped kitchen was cozy and location was beautiful.

This property is in a lovely, relaxing area. The cottage was just perfect for two adults and our dog.

House was exactly as advertised! Location is perfect, just a few miles from Huntington SP and Brookgreen Gardens and within easy driving distance to Myrtle Beach SP, Sunset Beach, Vereen Memorial Gardens, Hampton Plantation and more. Would definitely stay there again!

This is the second time we have stayed at this cottage and we really enjoyed both times. The neighborhood is beautiful. The cottage is well equipped. We had one plumbing issue but the owner took care of it immediately. Would definitely rent again!!

Cozy Cottage is clean, comfortable and located among magnificent Live Oak trees in the private Wachesaw Plantation. The cottage was perfect for the two of us during our week stay and ideally located near golf, Huntington State Park and excellent restaurants. The Cottage is well appointed, well equipped and the area is quiet and serene. Communication with the owner was exceptional and clearly justifies Dave as a Premier Host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year.

Excellent location in Wachesaw Plantation. Very quiet neighborhood. Very nice interior with comfortable furniture. A well gated community. Fairly close to restaurants and also the shopping center at TPC on 707.

Very Clean ~ The kitchen was well prepared with any gadget you would want. This cottage is well appointed ~ clean ~ comfy furniture ~ bed was comfortable ~ blankets ~ comforter etc (clean and fresh) Loved the screened porch ~view of the beautiful huge trees draped in spanish moss was especially relaxing. A nice littel retreat. We travel to this area 2 or 3 times per year for golf and to visit family. Would love to stay in March and October again.

The property is in a beautiful area. I thought the picture with the water was the view from the porch and the reason for four stars...it's a short walk. The space was perfect for the two of us and is large enough if you have a small group. Absolutely everything we needed was available in the cottage. The pass to Huntington State Park was bonus! The park is 3-4 miles and has a beautiful beach. The owner is close by and very responsive! He brought TP and trash bags one evening instead of letting us buy some. This is a great location for access Litchfield, Pawleys, Murrells Inlet, Garden City, etc, even South Myrtle. If you like North Myrtle area, its easy to get to 31 and not a bad drive just not as convenient. Highly recommend Lees Farmers Market and New York Butcher especially if you prefer to eat in. Great value. We'll book again when we're in the area.

This was our second stay in this cozy, beautifully updated cottage at Wachesaw Plantation. The cottage is spacious with a lovely screened porch. Everything we needed was provided including a full week pass to Huntington Beach State Park.Thank you Dave! The neighborhood is quiet and serene with a pool right around the corner. Dave is great to work with, makes the arrangements easy and check in a breeze. This property is a hidden gem.

Spent 3 nights in this well kept cottage. Everything was updated and fully supplied.

Very communicative, comfortable, great amenities and secure and quiet. Enjoyed the screened in porch, cooking with friends and the short drive to the state park, Pawleys, and brook green gardens, etc.

We had a wonderful time loved the cottage. Cottage was all equipped and clean. Will stay again.

House nestled amongst large oaks. Very peaceful. Easy access to anything you want. Host very accommodating. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of room. Two porches to enjoy. One on the front with a nice screen porch on the back. Great walking areas. Very dog friendly. Plan to return same time next year! AAAt

The cottage was perfect for us in Wachesaw. Our daughter was married in Wachesaw this weekend and the cottage was so convenient. Plenty of room and nicely furnished

Beautiful place! Cottage was spotless and well appointed with virtually every necessity. Very comfy bed! Gorgeous neighborhood with Spanish moss hanging from the majestic oaks. Had many scenic walks with my dog. Owner was responsive and easy to work with, even allowed early access since the place happened to be available. Had a great visit with my Dad, too!

Beautiful setting...charming cottage condo...well maintained and appointed...very clean...extended family with kids stayed beach front at Litchfield golf resort south of our location, easy travel back and forth...very easy quick access to Murrells Inlet restaurants....will gladly and hopefully return!

Clean and comfortable

Everything was perfect but I would recommend an electrician spend an hour or on the master bathroom plugs. The storm door on the front of the house doesn’t shut. An easy fix but someone needs to fix it! The screened porch is heaven! Loved having my tea and listen to the birds waken. The live oaks are so majestic! Great for those who want to experience the river side of the area…

In town for my sons wedding and this property was close to our venue and other family members were all with in walking distance. They thought of everything and was so cozy!
