The property was in a rural neighborhood on a corner lot. It's a solid, simple Amish cottage with everything you could possibly need- even charcoal! The host is very attentive and helped us with pumping up a bike tire and providing an extra skillet. He texted us more than once asking us to let him know if there was anything we needed! Also, the cottage location provided convenient access to many local points of interest. We greatly enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful stay. Joe is an excellent host and a great guy. He even gave my 4 kids a tour of his adjacent farm. The town of Hammondsport is also a wonderful hidden gem, and the location of the property gives you great access to the surrounding finger lakes area. The cottage is cozy but very clean and comfortable. We had a blast and hope to return in the future.

My friends and I went on our annual girls trip this year and this was the perfect little property! The host/owner was so incredibly friendly and went over the top to make sure we were comfortable and accounted for. The area is beautiful, and everything was so clean for us when we got there! The only thing that wasn't completely accurate from the online listing was that there was a double murphy bed. It was a small twin bed that was folded on a rolling bed frame in the closet, so if you have 5 adults it might be a bit cozy. Other than that, truly 5 stars all around!

This little cottage has everything one could need for an enjoyable stay in the Finger Lakes region. It is just minutes from Keuka Lake and from Hammondsport, a picturesque village on the lakeshore. Our host was kind enough to recommend a wonderful restaurant (Timberstone Grill).

The location of this place is perfect your in a nice quiet wooded area but yet there a lot of wineries within 10-15 minutes. We both enjoyed our stay the place was very neat, clean, and had more room then I thought in the pictures, the bathroom was with a nice walk in shower! The host was very helpful, our check in and check out were nice and simple. The host was also excellent with responses and communication. We plan on staying here again!

The rental and location were great for my son and I coming to visit family. The host was very responsive to all of my message and made sure I had no issues entering upon my arrival. Also was good about shoveling snow paths and porches to make our stay safer.

This place was exactly what we needed and the price was perfect for our budget. Me and my wife needed a simple, no-to-low frills place to use as base camp for our vacation. Joe was very available for questions and we were very happy with our stay

We had a wonderful visit. The cottage was perfect for the me and my parents. And a great location to the surrounding finger lakes.
The property owners were very responsive to any questions and made the check in and out process so easy. They have Satalite TV and Internet which filled in the gaps after dark. Would stay there again in a heart beat.

Had a great time... The place is great and not far from the lake. Joe is a spectacular host... we stay here every year now for our annual fishing trip.. Plus it's affordable.

Stayed here with my family (4 of us) in July. Joe is a fantastic host! Very easy to get in touch with and very responsive. The house sleeps two in the bedroom (queen bed), two more on the pullout sofa bed, and room for 1 more on a folding twin bed that Joe keeps in the closet. We used all beds because my two teenagers didn't want to share the sofa bed. Joe was nice enough to give us and some other family members a tour of his farm down the road! Kids loved the horses and chickens and hearing everything Joe does to raise these animals.

The cabin was as described…perfect size for the two of us. We found it to be very clean with a very comfortable bed and soft sheets. Location was very close to Hammondsport, but I wish it had been father from the main road. I guess from the description, I had assumed it was more private on a farm property. Joe was very responsive and made sure to check in frequently to see if we had any problems. Check in and check out was easy. I wish I could say that we would stay again, but the smell of the water was too much for us both. Even though it was explained in the listing that there was a sulfur smell to the water (and we did go buy gallons of water for drinking and brushing our teeth) it was so smelly that it was hard to feel/smell clean after a shower. I’m no city slicker but the smell was too much for us. Otherwise the place was great!!

Lovely little cabin as big as any hotel room with a nice fire pit and big yard, which you don’t get with a hotel! Joe was VERY responsive to any questions we had and everything was just as presented in description.

Wonderful stay with our dog. Great location! We contacted Joe before our trip to ask if we could drop off our boat in the driveway before check in. He got back to us quickly and said no problem. The parking area was great for a boat. The rental was a perfect size for us and our dog. We will definitely want to stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay,easy check in and clean Couple of things maybe could be listed differently. Linens included but bring a blanket if you use the pull out couch, and fridge is small. I also didn’t realize no stove, buy did have a hot plate with two burners. Short distance to hammondsport. We would stay again

Relaxing stay
We had a couple of days of rain, but there is much to do in the immediate area, and it's a short distance to Corning.
The inside of the cabin is cozy and very clean, with everything you need to make a meal and clean up afterward. The side yard was perfect for games, and the firepit is ideally located in the front yard. Joe and his lovely family brought us over wood and saved us the trouble of getting it from somewhere else, and it was reasonably priced.
It was a charming and relaxing stay, I would recommend the property, and we would likely visit again.

We roasted marshmallows and enjoyed the serenity of the fire pit's dancing flames and night sounds.
Shoulder of the roads are approximately 5 feet or more. Terrific for walking or bicycling!
Our host, JOE, quickly responded to text messages... Extremely obliging.

Quite simple and cute
We had a great little getaway with the pups at this cottage. There's plenty of land, a large deck, and the cottage is plenty big enough for 2. There's a fridge, microwave and one of those portable stove tops for cooking as well as a grill. We got rained on the entire time so I was so thankful to have internet and satellite TV since we were stuck inside.
