Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second year the family has stayed in unit #2. The unit is very adequate for our family of 16. When we arrived everything was very clean. We love the hug large deck in the front and the front screened in porch. The beach and lake is awesome. There are a few minor maintenance issues that should be addressed...the main bathroom on the first floor needs to have the light fixture fixed, its been with out two lights for two years now. The pier in front of unit #2 needs some boards replaced, there is one missing and some that are old and falling a part. On the main beach area over half of the lounge chairs were cracked or broken. There could be a few more chairs on the beach available. A yearly maintenance check would go along way.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was just ok this year. I know there is not much you can do about the swimmers itch but it was simply just terrible this year. A beach front property with a beach that can’t be used. We also had a mice issue this year. I understand this can’t always be controlled in the north woods but the floors were filthy under fridge and stove and they were camping down there. The front room next to the kitchen smelt musty. Maybe the carpet had gotten wet. The staff has always been great to work with and you can’t really control some of the things like swimmers itch but it simply is just a bummer.

There are two bathrooms with showers on the main level and one with shower on the second level. The water pressure on the second level is very weak and the mixing valve goes unexpectedly from comfortable to scalding hot to extremely cold. An immediate fix is needed on that. Also, there was some chewing on toilet paper rolls in the upper level bathroom under the sink...mice??

Property worked great for us, clean and no issues.

Lots of sleeping space and kids enjoyed bunk room. Since it was winter we didn’t get to enjoy the lake, screen porch or deck, but those look great for summer. Nice to have multiple fridges for a large group and the entryway for shoes/coats is great. No details on VRBO for check in/out process or no towels included. Four families scrambling trying to find towels in small towns. I’ve rented a lot of properties and details are usually a lot clearer.
