Really clean and welcoming space !! The view is incredible. There are commuter trains that go by right in front of the windows but they are really quick and not that loud. Bathroom is clean and nice shower. So great to have a washer dryer right in the unit. For a couple this space is perfect. You can walk to all the restaurants and shops and yet it feels private and secluded. Highly recommend. I am hoping we can return .

Downtown shopping and eating is within walking or biking distance. Beautiful view and was never bothered by the train. Coffee in the morning was supplied by The Host and was excellent.

This is a private loft with no shared walls. It is much brighter and lighter than the pictures show. The queen size bed faces the river and has a beautiful view when you wake up. The kitchen has ample room with the island and seating. There is lots of equipment to do any cooking that you need. The blowup mattresses were great for our 14 and 16 year old. Everyone loved staying here. And its just a short drive to anything we wanted to do. As someone mentioned in another review, you just drive down the driveway and it is the last property that you will come to. Easy parking . And yes. The coffee was amazing! I wish we could’ve purchased some more to take home with us

We loved staying in this gorgeous space! It was perfect for our family, and so clean and easy. It was really helpful to have laundry on site and the kids could be a little noisy without bothering anyone with no shared walls. The AC was really wonderful in the high heat and humidity weather and proximity to the mystic market was great for treats and good food! 10/10 would stay there again.

Lisa and John’s place was perfect for our family of 3. It was close enough to downtown Mystic and Olde Mystick Village, but far enough to be at peace. The water views are beautiful. The train tracks are close by but you get used to it quickly. The home is fully stocked, including a washer/dryer and the owners’ homemade and delicious coffee! Lisa and John are quick to respond to requests and very helpful! Thank you for a nice getaway!

The loft was beautiful, clean, just as pictured and described except it was bigger than appears in the photos. Owner has thought out and supplied many extra little amenities and gave us our privacy but was available to provide recommendations. Check in and out were effortless. Location was great and we had no trains interrupt our sleeping hours. Would absolutely revisit.

We stayed at this property for a summer weekend while attending a wedding in the area. Clean, well stocked and exactly as pictured. Quiet neighborhood and my husband and I found it to be conveniently located and a super comfortable weekend getaway. Would definitely book here again when in the area.

This upstairs studio was nicely planned. Everything we needed was readily at hand and new. Quiet with beautiful views. I would definitely stay there again.

The studio was immaculate and bigger than it looked online. We had plenty of room for our family of four and the teenagers were very happy with the comfortable air mattresses. Everything was super clean and new Lisa gave us some great ideas for visits in the area and amazing coffee! We liked that we could walk from the house into Mystic for dinner and coffee. We would definitely like to come back again!

Perfect hosts, perfect location, perfect accommodations. Lisa was so accommodating, needs. even letting us plug our electric car in while we were there. I brought our bikes, which was the absolute bonus, as we could safely bike into the Mystic proper, which is just charming. The “over the garage” apartment was perfect for our needs, and waking up to the sunrise on the river was a really nice bonus. The coffee was freshly roasted and the ability to grind and brew in the morning just added to the charm. I truly hope we have reason to visit again and we highly recommend staying here.

Everything was clean and in great condition. We really enjoyed our visit.

This property was great. 1 main bed with 2 luxury air mattresses if needed. The size was perfect and we walked to the market for breakfast our fist day there. I would highly recommend this property.

My 2 daughters and I stayed here during a volleyball tournament at Mohegan Sun. This place was a wonderful alternative to a hotel with all of the comforts of home, a gorgeous view of the water, close to the beautiful center of Mystic, and Lisa was a delight to communicate with and meet. The coffee was extraordinarily delicious also! We hope to have a reason to return!

We had a great time in the loft . It was fully stocked and the owners requested promptly to any questions we had . Location was perfect a short distance to downtown mystic . Highly recommend. We will certainly return if we are back in the area . Thanks for a lovely stay

On Thanksgiving, when returning from dinner and turning into the driveway leading to the property, our car was hit by some probably drunk bozo driving way over the speed limit who decided to pass us on the left despite the double solid lines in the road. We were unhurt, but the car was damaged. The next day, Lisa made a list for us of nearby auto body shops (turned out that Geico has a close relationship with one not on that list) and Jonathan drove us first to the Mystic Enterprise car rental office (closed) and then to the Groton office (open) and waited there until it was clear that we would have no trouble with the rental. They continued to offer help as long as we were there and even now when we are home but awaiting a return to the area to get the car when repaired. They went above and beyond what they needed to do, absolutely wonderful owners. I might add that whenever I contacted them in the time between reserving the rental and arriving, they responded within minutes. As for the rental, it is a nice large efficiency fairly well equipped and quite comfortable. As promised the view out of the window is very nice. We absolutely recommend it for singles or couples. Three notes - First, Amtrak trains pass right by it a lot during the day, but they stop running overnight and we did not find that bothersome at all - and I am quite sensitive to that type of noise. You should not let that stop you from renting. Second, you have to lug your stuff up the stairs, and if that is a problem you should look elsewhere. Third, without giving away the location, it is the last house on a long driveway, so along with a house next to the road there are two others you pass before getting to it.

A wonderful place to stay. The owners immediately responded to our reservation request. The property is close to many tourist attractions but not too close. The coffee was out of this world! My one recommendation would be to have dimmer switches on the lights or to have a couple of lamps. The brightness of the can lights in a shared location makes it difficult for some to turn in early. My sisters and I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful place. Thank you for everything!

The place is small but very clean and just enough. The welcome coffee beans made a delicious cup of coffee. Our quarters were right on the mystic river. Traintracks were right before the river. We were used to the noise of the train speeding by frequently. My favorite part of our stay wad we walked into mystic and didnt need to drive or park. Those beautiful butterflies too on the property.. We would love to be invited back😁

Positives - Good Location - Pretty Views - Reasonable Price - Newly Updated - Quite - Easy access to room upon arrival - Good Wifi - Nice Kitchen - Good Coffee Negative - Bathroom o Door Does Not Close (Needs to be Trimmed) o Toilet Way Too Low and Small. Extremely uncomfortable. Highly recommend replacing with a Higher OVAL shaped Toilet o Toilet paper basically sits on the ground. Need an actual toilet paper dispenser on the wall or a self-standing dispenser that sits much higher. - “Bedroom” o Mattress very uncomfortable. Sagging and not padded at All. o Layout not ideal. Only way to watch TV is lying in bed, not sitting on couches (unless you re-arrange the room)

If you are visiting Mystic, this property is the place to stay. The hosts were amazing and communicated with me from the day I booked, giving me ideas for activities and "must see" things for my teenagers and I. The actual loft is immaculate and felt like home. There is a washer and dryer which was so helpful, I got to take clean clothes home with me! It is close to downtown and within walking or very short driving distance to local attractions. We enjoyed our stay so much and we will be back! 5 stars all around-zero complaints.

My wife and family were looking for a peaceful getaway for our anniversary, and this place just spoke to me. A cozy loft with all appliances, not to mention our wonderful hosts who complimented everything we may have forgotten for traveling. Comforting views and close to most attractions.

Amazing… we loved everything about this property. Once you pull down the driveway, you’ll know you made the right choice. The studio was just Gorgeous!! Lisa & Johnathan (owners) thought of everything to make us feel at home. (The coffee, was out of this world) Lisa & Johnathan were very welcoming and friendly. The studio was laid out perfect for the 3 of us and the pictures don’t fully capture how Beautiful the place is. The studio has breathtaking views of the Mystic River. We had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. Owners were very friendly and super communicative. The property was just the right size for the two of us, it was immaculately clean and really modern and cute. Awesome view of Mystic River and very close to downtown area. Couldn't get any better than this property. We definitely want to stay here again. Thank you for our perfect little getaway!
