The condo was comfortable and we had a good experience, We would have liked to know ahead of time the condo was on the third floor. We managed quite well, but it was still a surprise.

Loved the layout of the apartment. Really nice kitchen and lighting features. A/C units in each room. Unfortunately, the ice cream store was closed but all other restaurants, bakeries, etc. were open. Didn't realize it was a 3-story walk-up, which isn't a problem for younger people, not good for some elderly.

Our other rental fell through and we went on a last minute hunt for a new spot. We normally would have chosen a quieter rental but decided to go for it and see what life is like on top of an ice cream store. We really had no issues with the store below. They play music but you can’t hear it upstairs. My kids loved going down in their pajamas and keeping an eye on the line and getting ice cream every night. My only complaint would be when the store closes from 10-10:20 the kids pumped their music loud to clean up- but it was just 20 minutes and then they all left for the night. All the descriptions are accurate of the home. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the kitchen so you do feel like you have your own space if you are traveling with another family. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The kitchen and family room were spotless. There was toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies and hand soap. The air conditioning works really well and the washer and drier in the basement are huge and very clean. The road is busy- but we knew that coming in so no surprises. The owner of the home was extremely fast responding to us. We were able to check in early which was great. The location of the house is close to the beach and shops. There is a hose next to the storage unit which we discovered and were happy to use for our feet. Make sure to take a spin on the tandem bike!!! That was our kids absolute highlight! Thanks for a great getaway!!!

It was everything you should expect from a stay. Great communication, fantastic location. Walking distance to beach and kids used bikes to get to fantasy island and bay village.

This apartment is centrally located, clean and works well for a small family or group! We would recommend it.

We enjoyed 3 nights in LBI. Location was great and would stay again. We were 6 adults but there is street noise if you have young children. There were 2 usable bikes which was a +. Bunk beds in one room hard to access. Dave was a great host!

Wonderful time

I hate to leave bad reviews and tried to work this out with the host, but he is not answering me. I stayed here 7/31/23. He was prompt in his replies on the platform which I appreciated and he let us check in early to drop our bags. When we came back, we noticed several safety and cleanliness issues, most notably 1) a towel bar partially missing at my toddler's height that he could have banged into, 2) a sliding door off its hinges, 3) shower head coming off the wall, 4) a comforter with an awful looking stain, 5) wristbands left in the shower. Outside of this, the whole apartment shook constantly from people walking up the steps to the ice cream shop. I didn’t complain about this as it’s out of Dave’s control. I called Dave and he answered right away and offered to come fix things, but I was concerned for my toddler's safety, these were just the things I noticed and I didn't want to risk there being other issues. He agreed on the phone to refund me the remaining nights. However, he later messaged me and said he would only refund some of the remaining dollars. He gave me his word and then changed his mind, and I don't think it's smart to stay at a host's property who doesn't stand by his word. Now he is no longer answering messages. I'm sure he will reply here to say he offered to fix the issues and did so quickly (he did) and that he is technically abiding by VRBO policy (he is), but he reneged on a commitment and I wouldn't trust him with your money or your vacation.

Great location, easy access to beach and bay. Also, walking distance to many great restaurants. The ice cream store below is the best in LBI. The unit was very clean and spacious. May be a little bit more traffic noise than I was expecting, but it is on a the main road. We just had the fans on for white noise at night so it worked out. If you are going to rely on the bikes that are there, they are not in good shape, so bring your own.

Nice place in a good location. Located two blocks from the beach, a short bike ride from any shopping or restaurant attractions. Staying above and ice cream shop was not at all an inconvenience like you would think the peak hours were very short, opened at 3pm and closed by 10pm.

The owner of this unit is fantastic at communication, any questions he was responsive right away !

We had a stress free vacation with our teenage daughters staying here.The condo was lovely, very clean, airy and open. The bedrooms were perfect sizes. The location is amazing! Dave the host was very accommodating and the kitchen had all the necessities of home. Being above the Ice cream shop was never an issue, we will definitely stay here again.

The apartment was clean and the location was great. Be prepared at the ice cream shop below plays music until about 11 PM. Also, you have to bring all of your own sheets and towels which for us was a little inconvenient because we didn’t have twin sheets. Close to the beach and lots of restaurants though.

Stayed here in July 2023 for 1/2 week trip with 6 people and found the apartment to be comfortable and in a great location on the Island. It was quite hot during our trip and each main area comprised of Living room Kitchen and each bedroom had their own personal mini AC unit with digital remotes to keep every area cool and comfortable. Nice kitchen and family room area. David was a great Host who promptly answered any questions. Would gladly stay again.

We had a great stay here! The apartment was very clean and had a cozy. The location is also great, ice cream downstairs, restaurants all around and there is even great little bakery right down the street! Hope to visit again next year.

Dave was such a responsive host. This VRBO is in the perfect location in LBI. It looks even better in person! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you again Dave!

It was a great location and so many things in walking distance. The apartment was really nice, lots of sleeping options, a full living room and kitchen. The parking was nice because the ice cream shop was closed, we had plenty of room. The owner was very responsive and got back to us quickly. We would stay here again.

Getting on and off the island takes a little while so plan to sit in traffic for an hour but the island is with the wait. The property was in a good location, technically on 3rd floor of building, great restaurants across the street, beach 2 blocks away. Coffee shop and WaWa on the corner, ice cream downstairs. Kids rented bikes and were able to easily bike around the island and to Fantasy Island, then store them in the shed on bottom floor. Coffee maker and keurig available. Property was comfortable and clean. Owner was very helpful and quick to respond to questions.

The apartment was good for a short stay. The location is a little far if intending on leaving the island frequently. The washer and dryer wasn’t available as the covers and screws were off it. But that could be do to us staying during off season. Bringing your own sheets and towels is super inconvenient for out of town guests but doable. But Dave was great to work with and super quick at responding! Overall it’s a good places to stay for weekend trips or access close the the beach.

Great family getaway for 2 small families to stay since both rooms have their own private full bathroom. Children were ages 1,3. 5, 7 and 16. We left the kitchen exhaust fan on at night so it would drown out traffic noise when kids slept. I was a little nervous with all of the stairs to get to the front door with the kids but we kept the door locked when kids were awake. Plus, they were so excited that An ice cream shop was right downstairs. I rent a lot of places that don’t leave a vacuum to use and it was nice that there was one available in the closet. The apartment has both a Keurig coffee machine and a regular drip coffee machine which was excellent. It was a valuable price for the amount of people it slept. We walked to the bay front to watch the sunset and we walked to the beach to watch the sunrise. I would probably be back for another mini vacation. The owner was excellent. I did have to purchase a bunch of sheet sets for the beds before I left since I don’t have Queen or twin beds at my home; but now I have vacation sheets for the future. It was a great time!

Nice place to stay for a few nights while on LBI for a wedding. Conveniently located on the island with restaurants, bakery and beach all within walking distance.

PROs: Easy walk to the beach and quick drive to Fantasy Island + other places for the kids. the bunk beds were helpful so the kids had their own space. The downstairs storage closets were helpful to leave the beach chairs and caddy to not have to bring it into the apartment. Cons: I assumed the washer /dryer was in-unit but it was in the basement. It didn't work for us but the owner promptly fixed it - still didn't work for us but we didn't re-contact to try and get it to work so I'm sure it'll be fine for the next renter.

Great location, only 2 blocks from the beach. Being above an amazing ice cream place certainly does not hurt! The owner was very friendly and a great communicator. Everything was as it said on the listing and the kitchen/dining/living room combo is a great space to easily handle everyone comfortably.

We were right in the center of everything!! So clean and spacious for our little family! Did get a little noisy when ice cream shop was open not terrible. They close at 10, I wish that would be when they stopped the music too.

Awesome property a block from restaurants, the bay, the ocean and more. We loved borrowing the tandem bicycle for a morning ride and walking to the beach every afternoon. Perfect location for all your LBI needs.

We had a family gathering that spanned 3 houses -- our family members who stayed there were very happy -- the place is well equiped.

Great small but cozy rental. Not far from the beach or shops. We had a great time.

The property was clean, extremely conveniently located, and even had a view of the sunset over the bay. For a busy family with with multiple people always wanting something different, this was the perfect spot for a long weekend.

Dave was very easy to communicate with and the location is perfect!
